  1. Hard to believe how long ago it was when you started this thread Dan, it was you and Colin talking about these turbos that made me order one over a TO4Z....even if it did take 9.5 months to receive it! I ending up with serial number 13 turbo so it was the first one in NZ and one of the first on this side of the world. With no data on what sized one to pick I took a gamble on a 8374 .92 IWG turbo to go on my RB30. As I have posted in the past it has incredible response and the data sheets just don't show what it does. In hindsight the .92 is too small for the 3ltr and I have found a 1.05 to go on it (which I will do in the future). Now after having it on the car for 5 years I certainly wouldn't consider anything else. So to those asking are they really that good and worth spending the big money on? Hell yes!
  2. Thanks for the replys guys, It looks to be a bit of a dead end as I won't even be able to get the car cert'ed with a centre lock wheel. The car is half circuit, half street car so it would still have to be legal for the road. Just as a matter of interest Risking, What would the uprights etc go for? There is a race GTR over here that wants to run ex-V8 super car wheels, The uprights might be right up his alley.
  3. LOL! No...Still got some left I was hoping if they are made to order I could just get them forged in a standard wheel Alloy as apposed to Mag-Alloy. I know they are centre lock, But I'm about to fit a set of V8 Supercar brakes and will get the hubs made to suit. I just like the look of the old Group A cars...
  4. Can you still get the Gibson Group A wheels made? Who made them? Cheers.
  5. These are mine, The work awesome with the Wilwood 6pot Superlite fronts I have on a set of 35mm x330mm floating front rotors on my R32 GTR. I am however going to sell them soon if anyone is interested, as I have managed to get a set of Ex-V8 Supercar Alcons at a great price.
  6. Another ChCh'er here....I usually lurk around the UK GTR forum, But thought I had better join up here.
