Just wondering as to if you still have the cooling panel or not?

Did you find out what this wire was for? i found it hanging loose the other day as well. Couldn't see anything that is connects too.

To restart an old post. I have had the gauge and the oil temp sensor replaced a little while ago and still don't see any movement in the oil temp gauge. I have looked thru workshop manuals and cannot see anything in the wiring diagrams which shows how the oil temp sensor is wired. Does anyone have any experience with this or have had a similar issue?

Do you have the bonnet hinges by chance?

We are 18mins away from being at the house.

So just wondering are we meeting somewhere before hand or just turning up at the revival and go from there?

How did you get the metal bracket with the sensor attached off in the end? I tried getting that part off for ages and couldnt. I tried lifting it up and everthing but it wouldnt budge at all.

Hey mate. I remember you saying you were wrecking a midnight purple gtr on the GOR cruise if i wanted any spare parts. I see that you have sold the side mirrors but i was wondering as to if you have the fuel gauge level sensor and mounting plate that sit in the fuel tank? If i think of any other parts ill let you know.

Sorry i should of been more clearer. I had removed the pump as well without any problem so the only thing left on the white thing was the sensor bracket. I tried pulling it straight up but it would not move at all. I could not get it to budge one bit so i was wondering if there was a trick to removing it.

I tried doing this yesterday but for the life of me could not get the sensor or the bracket off at all. How did you get the bracket off? looking at the pics you put up there are metal tabs that lock the bracket onto the white holder attached to the tank. I tried pulling it every direction and prying at it but couldnt move it at all. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This could possibly be me. I work down near hastings and pass a white r33 gtst my way down to work and back home. I try to wave if i see the car in time. Ive got a midnight purple R33 GTR Vspec with bronze rims. Havent put the SAU Vic stickers on it yet though.

I had a mechanic look into it when i got the car serviced on tuesday and he was the one that told me that the gauge was the problem not the sensor.

Hi All Im relatively new here in the way of posting. I have a question that hopefully soneone will be able to answer. I have found out that the OEM oil temperature gauge in the centre console of my 96 R33 GTR Vspec is not working. Does anyone know how i can fix the gauge or should i be looking for another set of gauges? Does anyone know anywhere in melb that i can get the gauge fixed and if so do they know what kind of $$$ im looking at to repair it? Also is there any difference in the centre console gauges between the standard R33 GTR's and the Vspec ones? I want to keep the car as original as possible inside so dont want to put after market gauges inside the car. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Cheers Jeff
