  1. yeah it came with connectors but its different to the r33 plugs. so i have to cut and splice the plugs to adapt, but i have no idea what wire does what
  2. It seems like the fuel pump wiring is different but im sure it can be made to fit. now im just confused what wire goes where. Im the worst at wiring, like james may says "I dont believe in electricity"
  3. Hey guys, just have one question will an r34 gtr fuel pump fit in an r33 gtst? will it be bolt on or is it more complicated than that? cheers.

  7. hey guys i have a question, i have rb30et bottom end with s1 r33 rb25 head, thinking of running the stock rb30et oil pump and most of the time i will be using it on the track. what oil restrictors would i need to use/get if any at all? sorry for the n00bness

Hey guys and gals Lets start with bad news, i bought an rb25 head about a month or so ago and its just been sitting there, and today i saw that there is a surface rust on the cam lobes, so right away i put some oil on it to stop it from becoming worse. I rubbed it with my finger and it comes off a little bit. Now what should I do to it? Regrind? get new ones? Or just try my best to remove it all with my finger and hope when i stick it on my car let the oil do its job on cleaning the surface rust? Second question is which ARP head studs should I buy for the RB30DET? RB25 or RB30? Thanks, Any help would be appreciated.

  10. Hey guys sorry to revive an old thread. Im also building a 25/30, R33 S1 turbo head and RB30 turbo block and as TITAN said it will give me way to low compression ratio (to my liking anyway). I was looking more between 8.5-9.3 compression ratio. I dont want to spend a fortune on forged pistons (Im only looking no more than 350hp atw), so i was thinking more towards getting stock pistons. Do you guys recommend getting a RB30 NA pistons or should I go more towards RB25 NA/Turbo pistons?   14. Will a tranny out of a R33 4door fit in a R33 gtst 2 door? Anyone know if its a straight fit or do I need to do some custom mountings/drive shaft, etc? Difference in length/width? And if it is different, does anyone have any infos on the gear ratios? Thanks, Any info is much appreciated.
