Yep, wind it down about 5mm on the spring, should give you 10mm on the guard. Give or take. Good luck.

Preload isn't a thing to worry about. If you were going crazy on the spring, maybe. But not 10mm.

Lock is the top one. Spin down the bottom one.

Yep, just undo the lock nut on the spring perch, then wind down the spring 5mm. That should give you the extra 10mm ride hight you want. I literally just did the same thing on my Stagea three days ago. Cheers, D.

245/45/19 on a 8.5 x 19 et 33 i kinda think et25 is gonna push the tire beyond the guard a wee bit

245/45/19 is the perfect tyre for these cars I believe. I run them on mine. They actually correct the speedo. On standard wheels the speedo is ten km/h under. With 24/45/19. 100 on the speedo is actually 100! as measured by GPS.

There is quite a few threads on this . You will need a new double din fascia, one with the heater controls built in. THEN you can put in the new stereo. Heater controls are all tied up with the stock stereo
