  1. should be the same but IIRC there are 3 different type all depending on your work status that is p/t, f/t and a special case...this was all back 2 years ago when I looked into ways to beat the system. but I will ask my colleague again exactly as he is now going through the process to any minor changes us... again any which way the J-govt is out to short change us.
  2. nice video...but what's the deal with bumjacking the GT-R? and lane changing in a tunnel over a continuous marked lane...watch out for cameras dude.
  3. IG, well another colleague just quit last month and another this month and they are speaking to general affairs in our company, funnily we are talking about this same topic on here and he said it was the last 3 years now. He recieved the forms to fill out the pension return today...I tell you what I was happy to hear that. edit: we may not be talking about the exact same pension? I'm on a company employer pension, company union and shit! Where every employee in the company needs to have, and like in Australia the company contributes a certain amount also to my pension.
  4. Just following on, in my 3rd year my company had agreed to let me go home to get my 3 years of pension paid out in full then. Thinking we can beat the stupid system. After I had recieved my pension I would return to Japan, but little did we know then that you don't actually get your pension back from the Japanese Govt until 2years after...they obviously aren't that stupid. Also my company didn't actually like the idea as they would be paying for my apartment while I would be in Australia. But most importantly from everyone that I have spoken to is once you go home you will not want come back to Japan.
  5. I also thought it was calculated from the first year but I think it's now calculated on the last 3 years. It would be absoultely bullshit if it were the case. Because people's salary increase over the years. Brian, you know I'm strongly considering leaving end of the year. It's not worth me staying here no more. Paying the expensive myself and having to run a car is far more expensive now then when my gf then was here. Plus I been doing the sums lately, I could work much less hours in Aust and save the same amount...not to mention I have save nothing expect for my car and the mods to it. Another thing is the Australian economy is picking up compared to a couple of years back. Do your sums and check if your better off going home mate. But if your still considering coming to the mainland - Kansai I can hook you up with a few jobs even non-English teaching jobs. I know this all too well, no matter how respectable a company is too much shit happens here and they just sweep it under the carpet...while every now and then catch someone to show they actually give a shit.
  6. thanks but to be honest it ain't going to be much difference have already lost 2 years. If only the Aust Govt pulled it's finger out, and had some agreement we would be able to take it all back like some countries (Germany) which have an agreement with Japan.
  7. Really, AFAIK some colleagues that came before the change and left in March this year were calculated on the new system. I'm f**k as it is I've been here for over 5 years...
  8. Agree with 31.) I know it's happening. When I have to corrected their f*cked up grammer, sometimes it takes me a while to ensure what I'm really getting at...that is help correct the Project Manager's business letter so he don't look like a fool, but have to keep it simple enough so he understands that what I corrected for him is the same as what he wants! ...how unprofessional when trying to be professional!
  9. Jesus...Dave said top 5 or 5 things you hate the most not 50! Also my last post...what are we comparing to guys? Some of you seem like you have some real issues. Inspectorgadget, you will hate this place more now. You don't get 3 years of your pension reimburse no more, it is now only 2.4 years.
  10. V8skylineman, I deleted the last question late lastnight because I figured it was piss easy...yes it is the 400R engine. So how about the others?...again shutup Justin
  11. I stand corrected, the N1s are included with the V-Spec count. Back to square one unless I find out how many V-Spec...inform later. Burto, attached are the scanned stats...behold I found these while checking my own books tonight. Justin, the more I think about it I think the 228 N1 are all N1 not including the Grp A version. Considering all the books strongly suggest 500 Grp A were built, but at 55mil yen how many Grp A can race teams buy unless they came complete with a rack of spare wheels/tires, a few spare engines, gearboxes & parts, your very own pit crews and race engineer . Duncan, you sure there were V-Spec II N1? The only V-Spec II N1s I have read are the BNR34s. YO880, you learn something new everyday...Next question without asking the UK guys, why does it weight 1633kg? OK time to pick peoples brains again...how many: 1. BCNR33 4dr GT-Rs were built by Autech? 2. BCNR33 LM Limited and V-Spec LM Limited were built?
  12. dave, key money is bullshit but apparently other Asian countries have it...but recently landlords have stopped that because who is going to afford the rent let alone the keymoney. in no specific order... 1. English Teachers because they earn more then I do. 2. which brings me to this 2nd one...my company and long working hours...hope no one at the office reads this. 3. Street drains and narrow streets. 4. Bozosoku, and dirty men...I do feel for the ladies. 5. Rules and the fact you think they don't know what your talking about...if we can figure out what they are talking about so can they. have to add another... 6. designated days for dumping rubbish...which is all good for the recycle stuff but why do we have to take the trash out at 6 f**king AM (worst in winter)...I'm not an early raiser. but then we're comparing things to what we are used to...to them it's pretty much normal.
  13. OK smart ass...anonymous...it's late and I'm still in the office...just as well you picked it up your an English Teacher...us engineers don't need to know how to spell .
  14. Good site, but doesn't seem like all of them are there...best to check the Japan Nissan site for all the recalls. Just checked, Nissan seem to have taken down the complete list...only from 2001 available.
  15. OK go ahead tell them Justin...and ffs don't call me by my full name...I need to remain the unanimous informer. ps...you also spelt it wrong.
  16. Surely someone should know
  17. YES according to these books and for the V-Spec and V-Spec II its another set of numbers...if you like I will scan them up tonight.
  18. Burto, don't ask another stupid question like this again... I just spend the evening at the SA library shifting through 7 GT-R reference books, talking to my mate at SA and we are more confused now then before. Let's start from the very beginning: 1995/01/06 - 1st BCNR33 GT-R, V-Spec and VSpec N1 (5.99Mil Yen) was sold. Then the 1st model revision occured in 1996/01/22 (V-Spec N1, price: same)...then 2nd model revision occured in 1997/02/03(V-Spec N1, price: 5.998Mil Yen)...so how many were sold you ask?...6551 units! But most of the evening's conversation was spent talking about the BNR32 N1s which were first introduced in 1991/07/19 and sold for 4.305Mil Yen known as the GT-R N1 Race Spec...Nissan printed only 500 units made. When the GT-R had it's 1st minor revision in 1991/08/20, the N1 was still available for sale. Then when the GT-R had it's 2nd minor revision as well as the introduction of the V-Spec in 1993/02/03, the N1 was called V-Spec N1 and initially sold for the same price but a few months later according to these reference books on the 19th of August 1993 the price increased to 5.09Mil Yen due to a full model change! What exactly was different we don't know...but the V-Spec N1 continued to sell at that price when the V-Spec II was introduced in 1994/02/14. So how many N1 were sold...no f**king idea but as far as the true enthusiast are concern the true N1s were the Race Spec ones sold in 1991. Going back Nissan built only 500 Group A Version, but according to SA guys as well as the 5 of 7 reference books...only 228 were built!...perhaps it was 500 allocated cars. Similarly Nismo prints they only made 500 Nismo GT-Rs back in 1990/02/22 but the references print actually 560 were built. Guess we need to ask the people at JAF...and when I get around to it I would like to know how many Group A version were sold/registered to private owners. At 55Mil Yen...yes 55 Million Yen! I can't see too many people outlaying that much money for a fully race ready Group A car...you could built your own 500ps/55kgm GT-R for less. 500 were known to have been built and most I reckon would have been bought by the Racing Teams at the time. Now don't ask any more silly questions
  19. 20th Annversary goods...new release 5th Oct for you mountain bikers in JGTC GT500 colours, 55,000yen Probably best buy is the 20th Anniversary book about 2000yen I think, I dunno as I got one given to me
  20. Burto will check for you tonight unless Rezz gets on before me.
  21. Can tell you tonight when I check, else Rezz may have the data for that. Another question...how many R33 VSpec LM limited made
  22. so nobody on this forum knows? yikes!
  23. looks weird doesn't it...but I would like to see if anyone knows before I said what it is...also because I have only seen it printed in one Japanese magazine.

    Mid Night Club

Or mid-night battles...Kansai has about 10 known to the public/magazines and probably the most popular illegal street circuits spanning from Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe and Nara...because of how close these cities are all clustered together...highways all interconnecting...compared to other cities such as Tokyo. I said 10 because there are another 15-20 I heard and you need to know someone to know where to meet up for them...but this was back in 2000. There are probably a few more new ones now or less depending if the cops have clamped down on them. What's always intresting is seeing cars from the West - Hiroshima and North - Gifu here in Osaka during the weekends. Always causing more trouble than a friendly battle...as they don't know the local rules!
