We use one don't know the % but it would be closer to 30 than 10, it's about the first change I made....well worthwhile

That pic is Queensland Raceway June this year QUeensland 500 Team Enduro. We went out on lap 69...piston melted its way right through the brakepad. Car is 95 R33 engine etc is stock all mods are to suspension and tyres. We were 10 to 12 secs a lap quicker than last year thanks mostly to Kumho. Unfortunately we ran the same brakepads as last year.

And dice the seccond hand R55s especially if they are more than a few months old

We have a side exit pipe on our R33 3inch no mufflers We havn't had any problems at QR and honestly some of the road registered cars are quite a bit louder than us. We had clearance problems getting on some of the hire trailers.

After you have repaired it, if it's the cheaper type bonnet (layer of carbon on top and the rest f/glass) you need bonnet pins. The only legal ones I know of are the Ford GT type that countersink into the bonnet, or similar I got defected for my bonnet pins sticking up......never said a word about the c/f bonnet

Are they perhaps a finer thread than that............Skyline has 12mm x1.25 A visit to the bolts bar at most large hardware stores taking a wheel nut with you would give the definitive answer

Easy way...... pop wheel with deflated tyre on bathroom scales, note reading inflate tyre to desired pressure, place on scales, note reading Subtract ist reading from 2nd I didn't do chemistry

It would be great to see more Skylines there. There are a lot of very potent Skylines around powerwise, and with a 4 car team they would only have to race for an hour each. We tried to get another car to join us this year but no success. We will be there again next year and we will be quicker again but with a pretty much stock engine we will not get close to the GT3s. It is expensive, but well worth it. Cost us around $5000 all up this year, about same as last year. Fuel was about $400 for our 69 laps + Qualifying and gen practise on the Fri. A multicar team could halve the fuel cost by doing your own refueling. Allowable because you could let car cool down befor refilling. One Porsche came into the fuel point with his front brakes on fire and was really p*ssed off because they wouldn't refill him until they stopped burning. It was a wrong choice of brake pads that stopped us this year, The Skyline was running like a train, and, I believe would have lasted the race again. Skylines can do it...no sweat. We have entered twice now so anyone who is seriously thinking of entering next year feel free to chat to us about the event

Spend your money on Series 4000 rotors, braided lines, and good pads unless you'r just after the rice effect...in which case get the Brembos and chrome plate them so everyone can see

Hi Paul......that would be good, would you be running Skylines?? It would be nice to have some company. I suppose there will be even more Porsches next year, the beggers must breed like rabbits
