  3. R34 GT-T Hi all, My R34 GTT is up for sale. Has always been serviced by both Jtune Auto and Revzone. Body is in really good shape, minor road scratches. The interior is overall good, however the seats could use a steam clean and the plastic a good polish to bring it back up. Wheels have minor gutter rash. Mod List: Nistune ECU Nismo Triple Gauges Nismo Front Dash Nismo S-Tune side and rear bumper Greddy Profec B Spec 2 electronic boost controller - set to 11 psi Heavy Duty Exedy Clutch - only travelled 15,000km Turbo Back Exhaust - 3 inch, legal decibel and road height POD Filter 18 inch MP37 black rims from Mars Performance 165,xxx kms on the clock, rego ends 25th July 2017. Selling without road worthy and priced accordingly. Any questions, please do let me know. Asking for $13,000 ONO.
  4. Hmm I didn't think about longevity..I suppose I was 'wowed' from new car syndrome, but you make a valid point..who knows how long the 86 will last before it starts rattling away..thanks for your input mate.
  5. Thanks for the input mate, valid point...I just really hate the look of the GTi..never did like them
  6. Hi guys, I have a general question for those of you who have moved on from the skyline scene and looked to purchase a new car. I have driven Skylines (And only Skylines) for a good 6 years now,.and I have loved every minute of it..(almost every minute) I am looking at getting a brand new Toyota GT86 in the near future, and while I took this car for a test drive and it was quite nice to drive, had ok power and a nice interior (compared to the now ageing R34)..I felt I was lacking the raw excitement of driving a Skyline. I suppose the main driving factor in getting a new car is obviously not having to worry about squeaks, rattles, or the constant thought of when the next little thing is going to need a fix - and it would be nice to have speedy servicing done at Toyota and not have to worry about driving to specific mechanics to look after the car. I have been down the road modifying my R34 and I have enjoyed it immensely and I enjoy driving it..but lately the thought of having a new car is appealing to me and was wondering if anyone who has moved on from Skylines (who might be still lurking here, or hell, even those of you who came back to the scene after trying something different) would like to share their thoughts and how they felt when they finally sold their Skyline to drive something else. I guess it might not be so bad as I’m looking to go to another sports car..but I definitely will miss the turbo spool and extra KWs.. (When will they come out with Turbo model already…. )
  7. Thank for your input mate..i will take a look and see whats going on under there, becasue it really making me
  8. Hi Guys, I have a question regarding rim / tyre size and why this is subbing only on one side of my car? I have an R34 GTT on stock suspension and recently got some new rims and tyres fitted. I’ll try provide the info as clear as I can in a list below: · R34GTT Stock Suspension · 18 x 9 rims · I am unsure of offset at this stage (will confirm with the shop). I believe it’s different for the front and rear. This is the info I have on the invoice: 18 x 9 ET22 and 18 x 9 ET15. · The tires are 225/40 R18. The Issue I have is only with the front left wheel: · Moving straight / reversing straight = no issue · Forward while turning right = no issue · Forward while turning left =mild rubbing depending on speed and it’s near to full steering wheel lock. (I can go over road bumps and pot holes in a straight line with no rubbing). · Reversing while turning left = massive rubbing / scubbing noise, sounds like the tire is hitting something plastic to me. It will continue to make this noise while reversing until I straighten the car out. This is particularly embarrassing when reversing out of car parking spaces and having this god awful scubbing noise the whole time. · Reversing while turning right = no issue. So this problem seems to arise when I’m turning the steering wheel to the left and it is only evident on my front left wheel. Is this suspension related? Is there something in the front left wheel arch that could cause this problem, as it’s not happening on the right side. This was happening with my previous sets of rims also but they were 20” (Horrible things) – I thought they might have been the cause but since moving down in rim size, I am still experiencing this issue. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers! Dex
  9. Hi All, I have a pair of Drift Blade seats for sale and Power rails for the R34 GTT. (2 x Drift Blade seats) (2 x Power rails, driver + passenger). They are just sitting in my garage and I have no need for them. The seats are in average condition and I have tried to photograph them the best I can. Bit of colour fade but functioning perfectly fine. With a bit of fabric paint you could have a pair of pretty nice looking seats. The rails are essentially brand new. I installed them in the car, drove around for a week and took them out. The rails are from Grizzly Imports and fit perfectly for the R34 GTT. Please see below link: http://www.grizzlyimports.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_65&product_id=114 They fit quite few aftermarket seat options - Recaro, Bride, Sparco etc. I want to get rid of the whole lot for $350. At this price I am essentially giving the seats away for free. Location: Mentone, Victoria. Contact: Dan, 0421280042 Cheers guys!
