  1. ive never run the front cam cover. looks much better without it, i agree anyone tried the rb25 engine covers?
  2. this is true & exactly what my tuner advised - the exhaust is a little restrictive the point im making is that its not a required mod BUT well worth it
  3. i took the twin turbo boss of my pipe when i 1st fitted the engine 18mths ago - im surprised it still needs to come off though with spacers in place. did u also slot the engine mounts where it bolts to the block? should be able to get another 10mm there (do u know the distance between the sump & cross member?)

  6. im going to pull out the 26 & drop in my 26/30 in the red gtr...i dont want to cut the bonnet again, hurts just thinking about it anyway, who has had any success in lowering the engine to negate modifying the bonnet? ive done some research & have decided to slot my engine mounts & EITHER raise the back of the gearbox in order to drop the front of the engine OR maybe even adding some small spacers between the cross member & chassis rails. any guidance is much appreciated! thanks to those who have given me advice to date, you know who you are
  7. 4inch exhaust will help although not really required. im runnina hks superdrager which steps from 3.25" to 3.5" then 3.75" at the rear - over 400awkw although, if i did fit a 4" i'd make more power - good bang for buck mod i think what oil pump are u going to run?

  10. sorry hear the bad news simon.\ ANOTHER N1 FAILURE!!! the worlds worst pump...i'd rather run a 20yr old factory gtr pump than an n1... you are following the same path as i, went from an n1 (which for me lasted 2000km) to a nitto pump - great move what hard pipe kit u getting for it? im guessing that u wont need to lengthen the top pipes to accommodate the difference in height as u have overcome this?

  14. paul u skippy big mass of muscle - you've been hanging out with refaat too long (off topic) anyway, a dyno should only ever be used to measure gain as every dyno will read differently

  16. what is that gtr emblem you have taken a pic of, is it embossed in the car somewhere? what brand wheels is it running? i'd also suggest higher quality external pics leather actually compliments the car & works well with gun metal grey
  17. if i could judge the difference between rwd & awd that would be good - rwd mode is stupid though, 3rd gear has no traction what so ever

  20. when i had my gtr tuned @ 405awkw - my tuner told me that is approx 450rwkw (he would know his own dyno lol)
  21. i stand corrected - power fc is ignition cut doh
  22. fuel cut explains the massive flames that gtr's shoot out on the limiter - most gtr's u will see in japan run this way. so my guess is that fuel cut is acceptable but not sure if its better or worse than ignition cut?
