  1. What an awesome pic ^ looks like something out of this world, beast!
  2. i have this on google. does anyone have access to any r32gtr brochures, pamphlets or other marketing collateral?
  3. the other thing ive been searching for is commercials/tv adverts on the r32gtr...i can find ads on the n/a r32 as well as the r33/r34/r35 gtr series BUT again, nothing on the r32gtr! maybe it was hatched from the mighty godzilla & they fell from the top of skyscrapers
  4. paul diemar had to construct a scatter shield for twoogle as well & was telling me how much of a painful process that was at the time!
  5. i cant remember the exact size, however, when i built my rb30 - rips advised a .9 rear if i was to go for a single setup. i do agree with you Harey...1.06 would be a good fit for the larger 3.4ltr
  6. TM7GTR - there is a reason for that, stephen likes preserving his gtr's
  7. something that has always interested me about the nurburgring - hat is the death toll? there is no way this form of racing would be allowed in aust, without a helmet (unfortunately) this track is on my 'to do list'
  8. ^ i would have to agree with you terry, nice m-spec stephen!!!
  9. I was amazed with the torque level my rb30 made - so were many of my passengers...i cant even imagine what an rb34 would feel like! has anyone here actually experienced an rb34 or even an rb32?
  10. I'll update kiers number plates, thanks matt! Kiers car is an icon, I also think that a 'worked gtr' seems to fit better in its element - the ATCC gtr's were animals and perfect setup IMO! On the flip side, I also appreciate a factory BUT I personally am a horsepower addict!
  11. sounds like it is the same car! anyone disagree?
  12. What frustrates me is you can find an abundance of other production line pics for other makes and even the r35 BUT not the r32 or the r33 and r34 for that matter
  13. hi guys, ive been searching for pics or any info on how the r32gtr was built - is there any info out there which can be shared? thanks marko

  15. very nice - i'd like to order a pic of my car if you want to sketch it?
  16. Fyi - I ordered mine on monday and was dispatched this morning, via pitstop bookshop
  17. so these rovers werent that bad after all? after repeatedly hearing from jeremy clarkson how much of a lemon they are - cant be true i have plans with my brother on this car, however, my uncle forged the engine back in the 80's & spent a bomb on it hence i dont want to take that away from it - then again, the engine seems lazy so i dont even think it is running right as its been unregistered for 10yrs (i crank it over every 3mths to keep it kicking). a twin turbo v8 is very appealing though. can these 3.5ltrs make good power? do you what it was produced back in its heyday?
  18. actually - the rover is the same as this car & has the same wheel design as per pic
  19. that sounds like an exgirlfriend of mine, crude & loud but a great ride! roy - go easy on yourself zebra - who can forget the mobil/shell/peter jackson sierra's! i remember watching bathurst in the 80's as a kid & my dad didnt like the sierra at all "bloddy inglish rrrubbish" - he was a true v8 supporter & v8 owner. my uncle on the other hand absolutely loved the sierra & the gtr (we inherited his rover 3500sdi) "better than your v8 torrrana shitbox" unfortunately both have passed since but i have fond memories of the above cars & their subsequent commentary
  20. sorry roy - i dont mean to offend you in any way, sierra is a great car im sure you emailed some pics of your gun metal grey sierra which looked amazing & somewhat better than the race spec sierra, in every way!
  21. lets see some pics i was unaware you owned an n1
  22. there was 1 for sale on ebay last year but it was resprayed which turned me off - he had problems selling the car at the time. gun metal resprayed white. this was bretts gtr which i saw about 6-7 years ago in his garage but then sold it, nice example: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/201368-ultra-rare-r32-v-spec-n1-for-sale/
  23. ive been thinking about why that silver gtr has an import plate above the engine cover & here is my synopsis: taking into consideration that kerry packer owned this car, he 'may' have ordered his adm gtr from japan & delivery took place before they were actually complied to be sold locally - maybe or maybe not?
  24. wow - that blue calsonic looks incredible! the 17 inch wheels with that tough high profile slick looks insane & suits that era to a tee! i guess i dont mind the sierra for its success, however, it kinda looks like a shopping trolley next to the r32.
