is he running a standard fuel rail? only last night i was talking to a mate that was telling me the stock rail on the gtst is not ideal for higher power application as the latter cylinders can suffer from fuel starvation (4/5/6)...i looked at the fuel rail on my gtr last night & it looks quite large - what diameter are they if anyone knows?

Hi all, My rb30dett is now fitted in my mates circuit GTR, this is his 1st outing (reserved driving) & was doing 1:11’s around wakefield. His car still needs sorting around stiff suspension etc. Engine is tuned down to 350awkw on Federal RSR595s on a very cold track. The 280degree cams are too big and power comes in too late for circuit so will swap them out for 264/11mm lift to bring turbos on 1000rpm earlier. With good tyres that will wipe off another 4sec +. The best time he did with my current gtr was 1:08 on Pirelli full slicks & only 220 awkw! He is a very good driver!

Deano 1 - that is the plan, I've had big fuel setups in the past and now want a factory clean look...I'm treating my new gtr with the respect it deserves. Was it u that met my brother not long ago?

surely u wouldnt just fit the -5s & run it on the same tune as the gtrs's?

i sold my old boot setup with 044's (u might remember this from my black gtr?) - i still another 2 x 044's though which i'll sell lol

-5's sound like a good thing on the rb30 stevo - what power did u make in comparison to your -10's with 455rwkw?

i have that hoodie which is pretty cool but the quality is quite thin - not much warmth so more suited for autumn/spring

Does e85 help with engine longevity? The higher ron is much safer right, but the higher boost probably alleviates the buffer gained with better quality fuel.

This gtr reminds me of forum member 'benny78' who sold his car a few days ago...nobody looked at it and as soon as a mate of mine posted the condition and quality after viewing it himself, it literally sold within a week after that post. I haven't seen your gtr but to me it looks and reads like a great car!
