  1. C'mon guys, I was only using the analogy haha I think I know its a v8 haha, how many v12 drag cars are there
  2. looks like 2 rb's to make a v12 (similar to 2 v8s which makes the bugatti w16) LOL those turbo's will keep the rear tubs warm, no need for tyre warmers
  3. Standard box, nismo diff which may have been a different ratio (not sure), the drag radials are much higher profile though which would also contribute to the ET
  4. I can't help u but I did hear that u can buy the loom new for pretty cheap at justjap
  5. I have the engine wiring loom but its cut from the car, do u need the complete loom or more so the actual plugs?
  6. 37.bosch 044 fuel pump intank setup with factory cradle - SOLD
  7. That is interesting ash as crd's dyno isn't optimistic so u might be right...I know that my tuner did tell me to convert from awkw to rwkw I'd need to add close to 10%, therefore 320awkw might equate to 350rwkw
  8. That run was an 11.1, not bad for 320awkw huh! If I crossed the finish line in 4th and not in 3rd on the limiter, I would have cracked a high ten...oh well, I still talk about it 3 years later
  9. That was in my r32gtr with street radials, 320awkw was on a dyno dynamics dyno as well (crd tune). I think I'm a good driver 60 foot was 1.5s from memory...
  10. I should also add his xr6 had a built auto in it as well
  11. I found that comical considering my ET was 129.75mph with only 320awkw My mates xr6 ran a 10.9 with 400rwkw
  12. How can u draw a conclusion when u don't know the sequence of events? This is way off topic and again simon, I apologise. Sorry if I have been abrupt but I shouldn't even have to apologise on this front... Rb30 is an awesome engine, so is the rb26
  13. my mate has got an xr6 turbo as well which has 400kw atw & the thing breaks traction @ 120kmh with an auto behind it! with 1249hp - you'd have to take off in 6th gear
  14. We ALL know? You are a champion lol and I must say, thank you for sharing that - 10 points to the man with the microphone! Besides, I wouldn't go shooting off remarks like that unless you understood the root cause and in fact why the rear tyre peeled off the rim. Your comment has no validation to capacity what so ever. I had the opportunity to keep my rb30 and decided not to which clearly demonstrates that I prefer an rb26 and subsequently have my old car back...I've been there and done that, I've had my fair share of clapped out imports and now have my aust gtr
  15. haha good post if u want real capacity & this is what you are chasing, sell your house & buy the r35gtr
  16. sorry richard - sold a few days ago. only have the single in-tank 044 for sale. i also have an undercar surge tank with an 044 which is a much better setup than the boot setup i had but haven't removed it as yet...here is a pic
  17. 20years ago ppl were quoting hp figures haha then again, hp no's sound more impressive than kw no's
  18. great thread
  19. another black aust gtr just sold in syd for 52k be strong with your price!
  20. that is for sure & something which i never realised until i jumped back in an rb26! with my rb30 i never revved it hard because i didn't have to & it never felt as comfortable or solid up top as my rb26 that is the main motivation i agree, although, i was ill informed that the rb30 would still rev like the rb26 & that disappointed me once i drove it, i luv the sound of revs (personal taste) screamer pipes are a waste of time, with external wastegate sounds farken hectic bro YALLAAAA! reminds me of my uncles kingswood from the 80's with a worked 202 & that thing had a lot of noise haha, different era (god rest his soul)
  21. ...and here is a pic of the gearbox crossmember
