  3. Tip: click inside this box to load the editorsorry don't have cable but have fuel cap
  4. The joy of typing on blackberry with a mini screen, I left out "not to be" Stevo - that's the other reason e85 is not for me as I also like to take long drives and will become stranded on e85
  5. I'm sure if I used your tuner I wouldn't get the same service as what you do and vice versa...end of the day stick with who feels right and looks after you Its like marriage haha Way off topic sorry guys
  6. If you read my post, I refer to the tuner who was responsible for tuning the gtr I recently bought. I.E. Sorry to disappoint you but crd did not tune this gtr...but he more than likely will, even though its a vipec Don't get me started on dyno tuners, a very well known sau member was recently disappointed with your tuners results (name disclosed as I'm not here to defame others)
  7. this was exactly the point my tuner made & hence why its worth creating a thread on this topic - lean is detrimental!
  8. Something else I will also add, to advice from ppl in the know such as paul deimar @ red r racing! For example, the nitto bottom end kit far exceeds the tomei bottom kit in terms of qaulity and tolerance straight off the shelf
  9. Good point mark, about adjusting oil pressure as the higher the pressure the better it is for the bearings and less chance of damaging your engine. I know when I bought my nitto from jim @ crd he was telling the reason he has the option to lower the oil pressure is purely to make the other non believers happy...u need to cater for all customers. Do yourself a favour, if u live in syd drop into crd and have a look at their nitto pump which is on display and has chewed pieces of an engine block via a massive failure AND the pump gear is still in 1 piece. Amazing stuff and hard to comprehend until u see with your own eyes. Nitto is my choice
  10. that is right "no homo" for marko

  14. not everyone knows this as it was news to me. anyway...united servo sounds like the best option but wont be practical for me as i like driving out of sydney & getting away from the rat race
  15. yes - that is what the tuner suggested for gauranteed quality (csr) but my car is registered & more so a weekend warrior...if it was a race car i wouldnt hesitate to run csr
  16. Hi guys, I was thinking about upgrading my injectors to ID2000’s & switching to e85 but have since changed my mind after talking to the tuner who was responsible for the gtr which i now own. He thinks that e85 is still not stable & even did a test on e85 recently from a Caltex servo which only had 71 ethanol (name disclosed)...imagine what this would do if your car was highly tuned for 85 ethanol?!?! He also said that when buying this fuel, you should only buy from new servo’s which have poly tanks as the older concrete tanks are reacting to e85. Anyway, i thought i’d share this with anyone else who is sitting on the fence as i have been for quite some time, now my mind is clear  When e85 becomes more readily available in another 1-2yrs time, i ‘might’ then make the change...then again, do i really need more than 400awkw? regards, marko
