left work this arvo and was driving up the street and the engine started to die, then come back to life, die, then come back etc...had to be something to do with the piping I thought, so stopped and checked all the connections to find that I had forgotten a hose clamp on one of the joins. Managed to limp it home and attached said clamp and proceeded to take it for a fang. Boost seemed to be building pretty slowly and I thought...I know you get a bit more lag with a front mount but this is a bit much. Anyway...gave it a real bootfull and it started coughing and spluttering and died when I came to a stop. Had a look at the piping again and found the SECOND clamp I had forgotten altogether. Luckily I had taken a tool kit with some clamps in it and was able to fix it on the side of the road, so is now all good. Gave it another bootfull on the way home and there is a definite improvement. Only problem I have now is when I get to about 5000rpm it start to pop and miss, but it was doing that after I fitted the dump pipe the other week, so I think I need to change the plugs or at leas re-gap them and then have the SAFC retuned.

tip for new players.....intercoolers don't work too well when you forget 2 hose clamps

i did ask him if we could make some more space available, to which he said "yeah...prolly" ( I see a pattern of apathy developing)...but I don't think it's gonna be high on his list of priorities. We can still leave the files you have already uploaded there and just upload the rest to my box at home...means ppl will have to d/l from 2 locations, but saves having to upload 800Mb again....
