  1. I don't recall but be careful capping ports off as it can shut off oil supply to the engine.
  2. Thats the idler not the tensioner. Its a RIPS block so Im sure he would have all that right. (this build isn't assembled by him but the block is the same one he built for me on the prior build)
  3. As expected, bent valves on race prepped head number 2..
  4. Shazam another one bites the dust. 2.7 miles that one lasted. Well I'm assuming the valves are going to be bent. i got everything back to TDC with the belt off, the idler snapped. WTF man i bought a cam belt tension gauge and had everything set to 196nm. WTF The man's trying to keep me down man i swear.
  5. This is the cometic exhaust gasket, what a pos. This is the tomei exhaust gasket Cometic Tomei Also on the crappy cometic gasket the rivets on the gaskets would need to be removed. So thankfully I have a mill so port match the big boy head ports. And for the grande finale
  6. Well, looks like its gonna need a new block or some sleeves. The ring galgue from the 1st tear down is not going to clean up with a hone. Looking into 2jz
  7. Would this be correct? Would it still draw oil if the thermostat was closed?

  9. Would this be correct plumbing? Need a check valve for the oil cooler back to engine?
