  1. Hi all, Had this car for over 10 years never had an issue until recently the radiator died. I took it to the nearest mechanic who is having trouble locating the correct radiator. He says the existing one is ~768mm and can only find ~738mm ones. I am wondering if this one will fit? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221523529412 If not, where can I find one that will? Thanks for any help
  2. Hi, I'm not very knowledgeable with cars, so I thought I'd ask on her for some direction. I have a V35, 350GT 2004 I have owned since 2010 and it has been great, no real issues whatsoever. However, a few years back the stereo/head unit died (works, but there's no screen) and I was hoping to replace it with an aftermarket system to connect to the bose speakers and perhaps Bluetooth to my phone. Is this something a normal auto electrician or JB Hi Fi can do? And how much am I looking at here? I've tr Thanks heaps.
  3. bumping CD player has stopped working, says "Eject disc" but is not ejecting anything. AUX installation required (2 hours in traffic everyday with no music is hard!!) - pref. in Northern Suburbs of Melbourne! Thanks
  4. Cheers. Any company in the Northern Suburbs by any chance?
  5. I'm in the northern suburbs, willing to drive.
  6. Anyone know someone in Melbourne who can provide the full service? Thank you.
  7. Hi there, I am not very car savvy and was wondering if there are any technicians in Melbourne who can install an AUX cable in my 350GT (a rough cost if possible would be appreciated). I went into JB Hi Fi (if i recall correctly) and the guy lookd at my car and said he couldn't help me. I have an iPhone full of music and CDs can only hold so many songs. I have had the car for about 2 years and am finally fed up of constantly burning CDs for it - and the radio is not tuned to Australian stations. I would rather a direct AUX cable rather than one of those bluetooth ones. I also have a strange cable poking out in my centre console - i'm not sure what this could be. I've tried to use the search function to the best of my ability but only comes up with DIYs. Thank you for your time. David
  8. Hey guys, Selling this badge here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/271191138746?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_500wt_1414 Selling what I paid + shipping just trying to get rid of a few things around the house, no longer have a need for it. Details can be found on the aforementioned eBay page. Thank you and all the best.
  9. I believe only RACV and Justcar touch imports. Don't have much of an option here. I looked at QBE and NRMA, seems they are NSW-based. Edit: I'm in Melbourne
  10. Appreciate all the replies guys, I realise this is a GT-R forum and thanks for not flaming me in regards to posting this question here. My other question still remains - why is the insurance 1,000 less on a 2003 model? Was the 2004 model a significant upgrade?
  11. Quote for 2003 350gt - 1,700 Quote for 2004 350gt - 2,700 Anyone know why this is? What is the significant difference?
  12. Hey guys, Here's the deal. I'm 20 years old, had my license for over a year and am looking to buy a 350gt - 2004 no mods. I got a quote from Just car it was $3,400 with $2,000 excess, RACV offer (under my mum's name R1 and myself as an occasional driver) $2,600 and $750 premium. Does anyone know another company which insure imports? Holy f**k that is expensive. Also, can I take the quote from a particular branch to another in hopes of them offering a better price? Thanks for reading and any replies in advance.
