  1. Sounds good, looks like the rain will be easing for tomorrow.
  2. Sounds good. The post says Sunday 8th, but Sunday is the 11th.
  3. A reminder that this is on Sunday 23/01/22.
  4. It was a small turn out for the meet, because of the rain. The burgers were good, but the line up was huge, it went around the whole building, took around an hour in the line and the drive through went through the whole parking lot. I'm sure the line up will calm down in a few weeks, because they only just opened.
  5. Hi Guys & Gals! Well, the weather has ruined our plans on having our cruise tomorrow night. With high chance of heavy rain and thunder storms tomorrow night, the SAU NSW team have decided to postpone our upcoming cruise. BUT, we're still itching to get ourselves out of our houses! So, we've decided to replace our cruise with a social meet & greet instead at the brand new Carl's Jr in Wetherill Park! So without any ado, here are the new details: Date: Saturday 20th March Meet Location: Carl's Jr, Wetherill Park at Greenway Plaza - 1183-1187 The Horsley Dr, Wetherill Park NSW Meet Time: Meet at 6:30pm Map: https://www.google.com/.../data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0... It wont be all food and laughs - we'll also take the opportunity to talk about cars, take some photos, and generally hang out! So don't be shy - come out and meet us and each other! To keep inline with the NSW Government's COVID requirements, we will have the following rules/requirements: - All people joining this event will be required to check in at Carl's Jrs upon arrival. - Everyone will be required to maintain social distancing of 1.5m at all times. - SAU NSW staff will be monitoring attendees for social distancing and will have the event QR code for all to scan. - Limited spaces will be available at Carl's Jr for those wishing to stay for dinner. Please enter in an orderly manner, to help Carl's Jr staff maintain their maximum capacity requirements. A copy of SAU NSW's COVID Plan is available on our Facebook page and forum for all to read ahead of our event. This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules. If this is what you want please come to one of our many track days. This is an official SAU:NSW event and will be run under a CAMS permit. One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general. When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to: • Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly. • Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should. • Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAU:NSW and thus, treat others accordingly. • Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. As always, this is an easy and enjoyable run! We look forward to seeing all of you there!
  6. The turnout was great, considering the weather in the morning. The cruise went smoothly and the food was great at The Royal Hotel. Pictures are slowly being put up by people on Facebook and Instagram.
  7. *IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT* As many of you are aware, there have been a few COVID outbreaks across Sydney and NSW this past week. As far as the SAU NSW team are concerned, this couldn’t have come at a worse time, being days out from Christmas, and tomorrow’s cruise! Tomorrow’s cruise will still be going ahead, HOWEVER, we must regretfully ask that anyone who lives in any of the current hotspots (ie Northern Beaches), or has been in contact with anyone who lives in these hotspot areas, please remain home, as per the advice of NSW Health and the NSW Government. This also extends to anyone who feels sick, or has any flu-like symptoms - please remain home. As much as we desperately want everyone to come out and enjoy the day, we have to remain conscious of the spread of COVID, and make every effort to minimise its reach! Don’t fret though! We’ll be making every effort to keep our events running into and throughout the new year! With a little cooperation and patience, this flare-up of cases will be short lived, and we’ll be back on track to hold our usual events with everyone attending! We’re looking forward to when all of this COVID-madness is behind us all!
