In the unlikely circumstance that something goes wrong : Engine Builder will blame tuner => Tuner will blame engine builder.. and in the end your the one with your hands in your pockets. Get the run in done, do an initial tune at the workshop that built it and enjoy the thing for at least a couple of months. Id rather have it tuned running richer and safer than going balls out on a freshly built motor. After a couple of months if your getting sick of it go to Racepace, whack some timing and boost in it and see how you go

Bump. 57k neg. Throw an offer guys -
Whilst I do agree that the laws should have been on a power:weight ration right from the start instead of a blanket ban I cant see this ending well. Whilst "engine modifications" may not exactly be legal for them there is nothing stopping a young would be driver chucking in a ecu, adding some boost to their low mount and accompany that with some e85 and you now have a 17 year old in a 230rwkw sub 1200kg S-chasis - and the best part of it all is that it would cost him the same price if not cheaper than buying a sh*tty N/A CA or SR equivelant and as far as police are concerned its only got "an exhaust on it". Can definately see this leading to more accidents not less. There is ample amount of young drivers at the moment who are driving and paying the SAME price if not more for the inferior N/A equivelant simply because they are not allowed to drive a turbo.

Damaged R34 Skyline Gt R V-Spec / Ii Nur Wanted!
nomnomv8 replied to grigs's topic in Importing Vehicles
What... so your telling me that "immaculate, genuine 29xxxkm, original, no accident all for $48,990 vehicle" has actually been in a hit !! All seriousness, unless your planning a cheap budget no f**ks given track car or starting your own private Paramatta Rd. business your not going to save much money in adequately repairing your damaged R34 and even if you do it will never be the same as a mint original example in panel alingment and overall cleanness -

It provides faster transfer rates, realtime modification of maps, constants and tables using the Nistune software. Provided with CPU connector, 28 pin socket and instructions Note: You will require a consult cable to connect the laptop to your vehicle. Tax, shipping and transaction fees may apply *1 ECR33 RB25DET Skyline can use HCR32DET ECU (no VCT) or Z32 VG30DETT ECU (internal modifications required) *2 BNCR33 Skyline requires BNR32 RB26DETT ECU and O2 sensors *3 BNR34 Skyline requires BNR32 RB26DETT ECU, O2 sensors and CAS wiring modifications *4 Q45 VH45DE (1990-1992) using removed high gear maps Taken from the Nistune website. It can be done but its not simply a "plug and play" I guess.. -

Correct me if im wrong but I dont think you can Nistune the R34 GTR ecu.. As for your question, scrap that as it would be absolute rubbish. I would just go for a PowerFC -
Snapped up a few pics to put in my EOI For Sale thread when I took her out earlier today and played around with some effects on photoshop. I was pretty happy with the way they came out considering ive got 0 to none experience in taking photos
