  1. They won't give Nitto their timeslip because they ran too quick down the quarter without all the safety equip required to run those times there (cage etc). I was there when they refused to hand it over. 60 foot looked about 1.8-1.9 second maybe more due to traction issues and a very soft launch. Car would have run very close to an 8 @ 165 ish with a 1.5-1.6 second sixty.
  2. Wasn't me then. I was going through there about 8:30am. Mine has gold rims and pp's though.
  3. What time was this and what colour wheels? Did it have custom plates?
  4. +1 for 101 Motorsport. You'll have to book a few weeks in advance however as they are always super busy.
  5. You obviously haven't heard my auto Commo then None of this chopped muffler stock engine shit with heaps of drone. Fully built LS1 with a custom exhaust. It's so tough it makes Carlos Ghosn squirt a little bit of white sticky substance in his pants everytime I start it
  6. When you own 2 Muscle cars and a GTR you also own the right to say what sounds better
  7. I'll take the sound of a tuff v8 any day of the week over a 6 banger.
  8. It's very quick actually. Ran 10.1 @ 146 a few weeks before Powerplay. The owner owns 101 Motorsport and also has a 32GTR that runs low 9's @ 160mph and is about to go 8's very soon with the latest mods. Runs a 6 speed Hollinger in the 33 but was having issues at Powerplay including a broken front diff so was only rwd and struggling to put down the 800+HP it makes at the wheels. It's broken a box and a few other things in the last month so it's having some issues sorted. Keep an eye on it because once the issues are fixed and the boost gets wound up past 23psi I'm sure you will see it running low 9's at 160+ mph.
  9. Sorry on the paint can it has "Nissan - KLO - Platinum Silver. I'm hoping these are the same
  10. I've looked at those codes. If you scroll down it says the Laurel is "Platinum Silver". On the paint can it has "Nissan - KLO - Silver Spark" This is why I'm after 100% confirmation they are either the exact same colour or not.
  11. Hi all, I'm getting my R33 GTR V-Spec repainted at the moment, it's half finished and I've just noticed my painter is using a colour called "Platinum Silver". My GTR is build number 4XXX and being a 95 model I'm assuming it should be "Silver Spark". On the paint can it says paint code KLO which is correct to my vehicle however I'm just wanting to check if there is any actual difference or its just the same mixture with a different name for the Laurel/GTR. I'm trying to keep it original paint colour and it looks almost identical however I want to be sure. Quick replies would be great before it gets painted any further. Please only reply if you are 100% sure on what you are saying is correct. I'm looking for factual information not "I thinks". Thanks everyone Regards Matthew
  12. My hero ....... Cough cough w4nk3r. Do you always go around threatening to bash people? Let me guess your a saint on the road and have never ever in your life broken a single traffic rule. Didn't think so. Lay off the roids mate.
  13. Hi all, My first post and probably one thats been covered numerous times before. My 33GTRV is running a Turbosmart Boost T manual boost controller and its running about 14psi. It on occasion causes the fuel cut to kick in and I am looking at putting a FCD2 on it to stop this happening. I would think the fuel cut causing detonation at high rpm would be worse on my engine than allowing it to continue fuel flow under boost. The only mods this car has are pod filters, exhaust and Boost T controller and I am looking at running 14psi ONLY which it is currently set to. I know that putting a proper aftermarket ECU etc will be better however I have other cars i'm building at the moment and this when it's time comes will be upgraded to bigger turbo's, cam's, injectors, fuel system etc with the aim of making 350rwkw but for the time being (next 1-2 years) I would just like it driveable and safe on the engine at the times I choose to drive it. Can anyone with previous experience or anyone with reasons that I should or should not do this please advise and the reason why as it's booked in to have it done in the next week so I want to make sure i'm doing the right thing and not risking harm to the engine. Thanks for your time. Matthew
  14. I did more research, maybe just not optioned with rear wiper.
