  1. haha nice! yea i was wondering how a metal center cap would clip in thanks for the help guys, il give it a go;)
  2. ...so it doesnt actually screw off, but just clips in?
  3. ok, well the title says it all really...i need to remove a volk racing rim from a gtr but it has a centre cap on it that im not sure if it "pops" off or has to be screwed off or if i need some different tools. i dont want to force it and damage it. its in the shape of a big nut, kinda looking like a v8 super car nut. thanks
  4. thanks mega, i'l look into these things and hopefully i can come back with some positive feedback!
  5. im sorry for this being soo long for what i hope is a simple problem with a simple solution, but i feel it will help to know the details that i know! i have a mate who has a 4dr r32...it has only just been purchased a few weeks ago so we dont know the recent history. what i do know is that it was an auto and is now manual and apart from that it apears to be "stock". since the purchase it has had a 3" exhaust fitted, BOV, and air filter put on. when putting the air filter on we noticed the intake pipe to the turbo was loose(because we knocked it off!) after fastening it back on, it went for a drive...the next day when started, it surged on idle reving 2000rpm down to 1000rpm (roughly i didnt check exactly) and it will do that till you go for a drive then it will just idle high...around 2000rpm. although it never did idle lower than 1000rpm before hand - maybe this is an auto to manual conversion problem with the ecu? maybe the ecu needs to be "fixed" to suit a manual gear box? i first thought to reset the ecu...i used to do this on my old r33 by disconecting the battery, hold my foot on the brake for 10 seconds then conecting it again. so we did that...nothing happened and it still runs the same...is this how u reset an ecu on a r32? im thinking it has to be intake related as that is all we "tampered" with, or ecu...maybe a sensor problem...i havnt done a diagnostic test yet - 2 reasons...1. i havnt looked that up yet on how to do it, from what i remember reading is its a lot more complicated than the r33, and 2. i have no idea where the ecu is...but i havnt looked for that either! anyway, enough of my dribble...if you can help, or have an idea on what might be causing it to surge, please comment...(and dont tell me the AFM is stuffed!)
  6. ahaha...well that explains it!
  7. lol dark...he's kinda ugly!
  8. so thats what your been up to eh? you sly dog(hehe...pun) after growing up with fox terriors, i would have to say they are great dogs for young kids, as long as they are both brought up right...foxies can be teritorial of there masters, that can be a good, and bad thing for kids. if it is a fun loving eviroment for the dog i say go for it...just watch for signs if they are "bad" dogs
  9. haha you ****s just missed out on a sweet ass car, its SOLD...OVER KAPUT......
  10. well i bought this car from kamikaze in ringwood. im pretty sure im the only aus owner coz they were compliancing it when i was looking at it. so i dont know anything about the "grades" of it...i bought it over a year ago. there is no damage repair, the car is in pretty good shape. the exterior has a few scratches but nothing major. the brakes are a bit squeaky but apparently its nothing a good machining cant fix.(i havnt done it for the simple fact that im literally flat broke.clutch, gearbox, diff are all fine and havnt had a problem with it since i bought it. for an 8 year old car the interior is in pretty good nick(as you can see) a few little marks around but nothing that stands out. the handbrake "boot" has a little wear patch, but most skylines ive looked at are like this(it must be made out of a weak leather?) no history with the service but i just get it serviced from where i bought it or ice performace. hope that helps. im still needing to sell it asap so any "reasonable" offer i will take. this car is a "try before you buy car" its quicker than it looks.
  11. is it like when you look at a blender and you want to put your finger in it? im like that:uh-huh:
  12. whats it like knowing your dads face can never be shown on tv?
  13. i think my stories are more funny than gory...meh, i dont care they still hurt ...like this other time, i put a hard boiled egg in the microwave(yes it was already boiled) but it went cold so i wanted it warm...so i nuked it, took it out, and bit it. as i did that, it blew up in my mouth. so i had a burnt tounge, roof of mouth, and lips. and no, i didnt tell anyone. but they wondered how i got blisters on my lips
