  1. I am not sure if you know how hard it is to make a manifold out of mild steel, it is not as easy as making it out of Stainless steel where you can bend easily, There are so many tight bends to look at and getting everything to line up with the std position of the turbo, Having to trim a couple of studs and using 2 washers slightly smaller in diameter is not a mission, this is a custom made manifold it took me 2 weeks to do it for you and to make it look and perform well, having to modify the couple of things which is only trimming the 2 studs and modifying the bov return line is nothing major, as any one would know when dealing with any after market product you will have to make some changes and these are minor, I have emailed you back every time you sent me an email and even offered to sort something out, if i don't reply in 5 minutes i am not ignoring you i do have things to do as well, kind of frustrating having to deal with this kind of stuff specially when trying to do something good for some one you still end up getting biten and loose your time making something.
  2. I have finished up a couple manifolds we will be making these for people who want low mount manifolds for their rb20/25 with 38mm port or without if you are wanting to run a stock internal gated turbo. This is a exclusive for SAU we will give you guys first pick if you want one. 14mm thick head flange and turbo flange, very solid manifold, any suggestions let me know,
  3. We will have some low mount ones that we are working on, which will be available in a couple weeks , The ones we will be doing will be good to run with a 38mm wastegate , if you are wanting to run big horse power i would suggest going for the top mount with a larger wastegate port, Low mounts are a mission and cramps everything in a tight spot so its quiet hard to make something which will look half decent and will also clear everything.
  4. If you want proper boost control i would say 44-50 mm gate you shouldn't have any issues,
  5. Thanks for the posts, i am sorry i have been bussy working on a couple things haven't had time to reply, From talking to a few people and seeing the couple issues with the t06 20g turbos spiking i would really suggest going for our 44mm port + , the 38mm port is too small for that application also when we make the 44mm port you can shorten it as much as you like as you choose where your flange goes, I am working on a couple low mount manifolds now and looking at different design regarding the Wg port and will keep you posted
  6. If a popt intercooler piping you should feel it rough idle i have had the same issue on a few cars but it would be quiet noticeable I would check the turbo for play and as stated above make sure all the i/c piping is on secure
  7. Our 44mm/ 50/ 60mm ports are all shorter length, but if we made the wastegate port sit the same way as 6boost would that be ideal for you guys? as i know space is a factor , and would you guys want the 38mm port to sit the same way straight off the side ? let me know and i will make adjustments
  8. Get some pictures for us, but normally the perfect spot for the vacuum port from my opinion is to run it direct of the front housing of the turbo some might agree with me some might disagree..
  9. If there was any issues with the manifold at the time of arrival you should have simply emailed me or pm'd me and i would have been more than happy to sort any thing out All our flanges now are being machined after they are welded to ensure flat surface, Can you post up pics of your setup with your vacuum lines from the wastegate and your exhaust setup Thanks
  10. That's fine that is your opinion and i respect that. You are saying the position of the port is incorrect but then we have over 50 people with the same setup and proven it works and even from people on this forum. Also you are not stating that it could be something to do with his own turbo / waste gate / vacuum lines setup to the wastegate and all the other factors that would be taken into count? I have heard number of times before that there has been boost spike issues in the past with big named manifold manufactures and i am sure most people have. I respect that you are stating your opinion and i have already heard that few times but we are not comparing this product to a 6boost manifold or Fullrace, A lot of people have used our manifolds and proven to work fine and if you are worried that your turbo would have boost spike issues then pay the extra cost and we will make you one to suit 44, 50 , 60 mm port.
  11. If you are saying there was issues with the flange / or holes on the manifold how come i didn't see any pictures or heard about this matter? because i am sure if any one or even myself got something which i wasn't happy with i would have contacted the company directly i mean i reply to every one if they have an issues, Position of the wastegate is not an issue and has been run like this for the past 2 years and have not heard of any boost spiking issues , maybe you would have required to run a larger port which we do offer not a 38mm port and slippylotion have you used one of our products on your own car? and had issues? or are you just assuming because they are cheap that means they would be rubbish? i am not trying to come off as a dic* but i just want to know if you have had any issues so i know. We have done dozens of manifolds the same design same position and if you look back to people feedbacks there has never been really an issue with spiking. This is not a product which is compared to 6boost or other companies we have made these to suit the mid range budget you are paying $300 for a 3mm thick mild steel manifold the same amount you would pay for a Chinese manifold. If you pay me $1200 i will custom make you something with custom made collectors and laser cut and cnc everything for you. My point is if you have any issues you contact us directly to resolve it before you go around and say i spent this and i spent that, if i don't see the issues then i can't fix them if there are any, i am sure any body would understand that. thanks
  12. The Dyno charts are not off a Rb20 both are off a 13B fd rx7 setup that my clients had built, sorry i didn't mention this earlier , i found these charts as we were cleaning up through some paper work so i thought ill put some figures up off the turbos that we do supply for people that may have interest, i will put some figures of the turbos and manifolds being used with Rb motors soon, i am waiting for the tuner to send it to us. Sorry for the confusion
  13. Over the weekend i decided to put together my old rb20det , so i decided to go for one of our mild steel manifolds and a larger turbo, any ways a couple of pics of the install , i also found a couple dyno charts of our Gt3540 / water and oil cooled which i thought some of you might want too see.
  14. Thanks for nick's help we are officially a business trader on SAU, we will post up some pictures of the manifold on offer currently and if any one has any interest then please let me know, i will also start a new thread for any one interested. thanks again
  15. ill make a couple and see what you guys think, ill be putting them together in the next few weeks and keep you posted, Thanks guys
  16. Glad you guys like the manifolds, we are doing some changes currently we will have a couple new things out in the next couple months also we will be doing a couple of low mount ones with and without external port, would any one be interested in them?
  17. Hi guys sorry i haven't been on here for a while i only got the chance to jump on and post a couple of pix of some manifolds we are doing, we have had people ask us prior for doing manifolds with out wastegate ports to run on their setup's so they can run the wastegate direct of the turbo housing, so we are now making them also with out ports for Rb20, Rb25 and 26, We are also doing the Rb26 setup with a T4 split flange 3 collectors on each side if you are running a split pulse flange on your turbo, the 26 setups come standard with 38mm port if you require large we can also make you one larger for extra cost. Prices are : Rb20 / rb25 / rb26 manifolds with out wastegate ports $369 AU Shipped to AU Rb26 split pulse setup with 38mm wastegate port $369 Au Shipped to AU Rb26 spilt pulse setup with 40, 44, 50mm port $469 Shipped to Au
