i have a 4 door but it doesn't look that good

i'v got a N/A skyline an it's still a fun an grate cars to drive, there's a few times i thought shit wish i had a turbo right now (traffic light grand prix ect ) but most of the time in day to day driving i'm not really fussed about not having a turbo, there's speed limits to follow (as much as they suck) dont get my wrong, i'd love to have a turbo! but i'm in the same boat running costs an the insurance for a turbo P platter is crazy! :freak: i'll probably wait till in my 20's an insurance is a lil less an i'm earring more money be4 i get some thing with a turbo i'll just stick a nos bottle in for now, have some fun with that :burnout: ps. if ya think ya wont be able it keep up in a sauwa cruise coz they all have crazy bombed out turbos, don’t! coz i manage to keep up ok, i get eaten in a straight line but whoop oh, round corners an twisty road ya catch up easy... just find a good navigator!

thanks heaps for that info lithium! i'v got a 2.25" cat back exhaust an cold air induction system done already how much would i be looking at for: custom extractors? cams? rb30 bottom end? higher compression? inlet manifold and plenum? an ECU? just a ruff prices on each would be cool, just so i know what i'm looking at

thanks heaps for that jamesw and why? it's stupid i know... i saw the new sv6 commodore an there 190kw! i dont mind being kicked by a turbo car or a V8 but not by a N/A V6 commodore >.< bad nuff being kicked by any commodore.... i justed wanted to know what mods would i have to do to keep up with one, didn't want huge pawer, but after reading that thread i guess there's no point i'll just work on trying to keep up with excel's :burnout:

i have to agree with rev210... spend the money on advanced driver training i got a N/A skyline as my 2nd car and i wish i did a advanced driver training thing when i got it, woudl have saved me lots of money an time with out my car :bonk: there still easy to get sideways even tho it doesn't have a turbo :headspin:

is it possable to get about 190-200kw out of a rb25de or more?? with out nos or a turbo if not what's the max kw u can get out of them?

I was lead to believe that the GTS-4's had a mechanical ATTESSA that worked with fluid and when a wheel lost traction more torque would be distributed to the posit wheel? and i thought the GTR's had a electric ATTESSA with all that sensors stuff in it, coz the GTR system is better isn't it? where can a get "manual" for a gts-4??? i'd love to have a read of it

i asked Xspeed if t could be done and this is what they said With regards to the engine conversion, the RB25DET should fit into the GTS-4 (i presume this is with the RB20DE motor in it). We will have to change over the sump from your current motor to the RB25DET to accommodate the front diff. Other than this, i will think that it is a straight swap. Only problem i can see with this conversion is with the wiring. Looking at my wiring diagrams here, the RS4 ECU is similar to the R34 GT-T, not the 33s. However, if your GTS-4 is equipped with a RB25DE, the ECU of a RB25DET of the same year model (8/93~12/95, or 1/96~4/98) looks like it will fit striaght onto the loom of the RB25DE, as they share the same ECU plug. (2nd reply)The straight swap means that an RB25DET out of a R33 Skyline would fit straight into your engine bay without having to modify any engine mounts and brackets etc. If you get a R33 GTS-T 1/2 cut, all the parts that are necessay to do the conversion will be in it. To do the conversion including the 1/2 cut, you will be looking in the vacinity of the 5-6k mark. This will include the 1/2 cut (should be between $3-4k), labour, including wiring, fluids etc ($1.5k) and new fuel pump ($380). an i was told the same by cypher industries... i’ll admit they said they have never done one be4 so it’s almost certain that it won’t all go to plan and it will cost more but xspeed an cypher aren’t really any old "BOB the machanic" are they??? Pva_ glue, how did u find out about the "G-sensor" and the torque split of ATTESSA??

i'v been wanting to do the same thing to m gts4 and i'v found out that u can get a 1/2 cut of some thing with a rb25det and i was told that any a computer out of a 93-94 turbo will work, if ya really want u can find a Stagea computer i guess.... i aksed for a price to have it all doen and i was told (with the 1/2 cut) it would be around $6000 put in and running they said get a auto 1/2 cut coz its cheeper and just use my existing gearbox from what i'v been told u can run a 25det with out stuffing the gearbox or diffs, the26dett will kill it tho witch sucks coz they fit in

maybe look at getting it carbon cleaned? my car lacks a bit of power to i think and i'm going to get it carbon cleaned coz i took my throtel body apart and it was full of shit i know at 100km/h in 5th i sit on 3000rpm i'll find out the rest for ya tonight (i got a s1 r33 rb25de with just a zorst done)

be4 i got my zorst redone it made a really shitty ratteling noise... i found out my cat was stuffed and i had stones cought in the heat shield, after got that all fixed up it was all good! dunno if this is ya prob but that's what i had...

the lights i used were just high intensity LED's in some lil pods rigged off the boot light... the hole lot was made out of MDF, a mix of 12mm and 16mm, the false floor was only like 5mm MDF covered in grey vinyl... i got (about) 1200watt alphasonik 4ch amp (PMA4150) running in bridge mode to run both lanzar vibe 10" and the 2nd 800watt alphasonik runs the front CDT splits and lanzar 2ways in the back

check to see if your earth is ok, try and keep RCA's as far away from power cables as possible, it's ok if they cross... i don’t see why having the amp in the boot would be a problem, i have a 1600watt amp in the boot and run 4 gauge straight from my battery and had no problems.. never seen my 4wd light come on u running the front speakers off the amp or deck?
