  1. Better than standard street tyres for grip Not as good as some of the other semi's like Bridgestones or Dunlops
  2. I'll be there Paul
  3. Item: Sard 700cc injectors to suit RB26 Location: Brisbane Item Condition: Brand new - unused Reason for Selling: Took too long to get here - used other injectors in rebuild Price and Payment Conditions: $1000 + postage (firm) Contact Details: PM or [email protected]
  4. I'm pretty sure the Mt Cotton Hillclimb track is a CAMS track which means you will need a CAMS level 2 licence to run. Similarly, you would most likely have to have your car scrutineered. I think the track is actually owned and operated by the MG club.
  5. Classic
  6. I'm a wait and see. Depends on the current rebuild. I'll let you know Paul.
  7. If they are stock rotors there is no difference between left and right.
  8. Standard 33 GTR rims are 17". I also have a set of Works Emotion wheels for the track which are also 17". Both clear the Brembos no problems.
  9. "As for porting, the standard RB25/26 cylinder head is over rated, they have average ports and the casting is far from uniform. Remember they were designed in 1987/88. The combustion chamber volumes are not equal, so neither is the compression ratio. There is plenty to be gained from porting and almost as much from polishing the combustion chambers and equalising their volume. Plus it is a far superior method of decreasing the compression ratio, if you want to run high boost (2 bar plus). Matching the inlet and exhaust manifolds to the ports is also very worthwhile." Would have to agree - recently had mine done and fully flow tested during a rebuild. Combined with cams the difference is unbeleiveable. Huge increases in both power and torque.
  10. Keep the dry tyres on - it's lookin' good
  11. Jase, I plan on going - however - saw the weather last night and they reacon rain Tuesday and Wednesday. <_< If it is still looking OK I will definitely be going. BTW, its a free practice morning on Wednesday as well. I'll probably go out early just to see how the car is going. If all is OK, I'll run the sprints as well. Cheers Peter
  12. Daniel, Are you also able to provide rule numbers for each of these as you find them to be able to quote. It is always a far more effective defence at the time to be able to say - "No, I am sorry, but I have to disagree. Under rule blah blah, subsection balh, there is no mention of what you are booking me for" Cheers Peter
  13. SK Stock!! What would you recommend?
  14. Yeah, still plenty there. Mainly on hairpin corners, I tend to come through on either 2 or 3 wheels, then light all four up on the exit.
  15. Thanks guys.
  16. Ferni & SK, When I bought the car I was able to purchase a second hand set to replace the OEMs. The Eibachs were already installed on the set. I am not sure of the spring rates but it is a real nice inbetweener. (No doubt SK you could tell me where to check). Not too hard not too soft. I find the rear lifts a wheel occasionally on the track so I will need to soften the arse slightly but all in all they are pretty bloody good.
  17. I am currently running Ohlins with Eibach springs on my GTR. Excellent suspension - would highly recommend.
  18. Hi All, Just need some advice from someone who already has a Cusco -Safety 21- 6 point cage installed in a 33 GTR. I have been trying to get some information as to whether or not you need to either take out the back seat or to cut the back seat when fitting a 6 point cage. Anyone know?? Thanks Peter
  19. I kneed to know before I order. Will this hold things up at all??
  20. Awsome run - simply awesome

  22. Chiba, Were you able to find out if the back seat had top be removed for the 6 point cage? I am very interested in getting one, but want to know if any modifications to the interior are required for fitting. Thanks Peter
  23. Had a bit of a look around on the web for other reviews. I know there have been a lot of good reviews about them, but also found this. http://www.1010tires.com/tirereviews/Hanko...re_reviews.html
