  1. @TomsR33gtst Start motor is initiating Found out that the pump is indeed working, however there is no voltage to the pump. Checked the relays and everything seems okay :\ any thoughts anyone? Getting desperate
  2. @Mick Nah i wont bother you mate. I'm just going to check if "m getting voltage at the pump this arvo. If i'm getting voltage at the pump then it should be the pump that is faulty right?
  3. How can I check if either are bad? The wire for the right plug seems like its wired to the front of the car through the chassis.
  4. I've only stuck a multimeter in the plugs on the top assembly The plug on the left gives something like 12 volts and the plug on the right gives nothing. I should have measured the voltage at the fuel pump instead. Is the right plug crucial? The plug conditions appear to be in good working order.
  5. Hey guys, Yesterday i was driving and my car turned off, I turned it back on and kept driving, however today I was not so lucky. It turned off and wouldn't start again at all. I found out that its not pumping fuel :\ I got this pump 18 months ago and seems odd that it failed so quick. I put my stock pump back in still no luck. The stock pump has been sitting in the shed for 18 months so maybe its bad now too? Any help would be appreciated Regards, Simon
  6. Hey guys thanks for all your responses, it's my first car so I'm still trying to learn a lot about forced inductions @Sklyn Yeah I upgraded my stock intercooler to a front mount intercooler, the front mount didnt have a nipple. Having no welding skills at all, I decided to cut a section of the old intercooler pipe that contained the nipple and attach it to my front mount intercooler piping. A problem with this is that is is unaesthetic as fuark and the silcone hoses are slightly bigger than the stock piping which may or may not leak boost at high psi(not sure). Anyways I'm always looking for smarter and more efficient way to do things so ive decided to tap it at the silicone hose. Thankyou for your response. @Not a Pulsar Thanks man, actually viewing the quick tap from a rear view I saw how small the restrictor was! I think this one should work fine. @GTSBoy Sweet as man, I'll be putting it in some time. Cheers.
  7. Hey guys, so in attempt to replicate one of these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbo-Boost-Pressure-Quick-Tap-Fitting-Kit-Pressure-Source-on-Silicon-Hose-/271274162047?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f2933377f&_uhb=1 I went and bought a 1/8" BSP x 3/16" hose male tailpiece. I got home and saw that the nipple that came off my old intercooler pipe was a fair bit bigger than the one i had bought. My question is; how will it effect the pressure that is sent to my bleed valve? I mean the hose fits on the brass tailpiece and all. Kind regards, Simon
  8. Still noticed a drop in pressure but the power feels the same if not more.
  9. I dont know about u guys but i had a hell of a time changing the o2 sensor on my r33. It took ages to remove the rusted one and when it came time to put in the new sensor, I was unable to tighten it properly. (not threaded correctly) Question is: How am i able to screw on the new o2 sensor without an o2 sensor socket? Cheers Simon
  10. Tried recording a few videos. The sound doesn't show up on video very well at all sounds to be coming from the drive line. Could it possibly be the u-joint?
  11. I'll post you guys a video this weekend so you guys can tell me for sure what it is
  12. @OEM_as_f*ck yeah ur probably right. I suppose i should downshift more often haha @BWRGTR Don't think its detonation. What would be an indicator of detonation.
  13. R33 GTST s2 GFB boost controller, pod filter and turbo back exhaust. Thats about it for mods. Oh and FMIC haha I found that i had a leak where i installed the nipple on the fmic pipe. Got that fixed tonight will test tomorrow and see how that goes.
  14. i was running 10 psi now im only running 7.5-8 psi
  15. Hi guys, after installing my FMIC the boost reads lower than it use to. The drop is around 2psi. Is this normal??
