Installing series 3 headlights to series 1 v35 coupe Has anyone installed the series 3 v35 coupe xenon headlights into a series 1 v35 coupe, need help please. Do i use the existing ballast or the one on the series 3 headlight? And how does the xenon work from here? Thanks!

Yea was thinking that bud, but i can get it cheaper online from Japan myself so thats the issue, if someone can confirm 100% that itll fit, ill buy it online instead.

Hey guys would love this strut bar for my 04 v35 coupe. I know there are ones that actually fit like stillen, nrg and gtspec however i really like the cusco ones. Can somebody advise whether these will fit as they are advertised to fit the 07-08 v36 sedans and v36 coupes with the hr motor. If anyone has actually fitted these to their v35 coupe? They are also stated for the 350z so im not sure how different they are to the v35 coupe? I also called up a cusco supplier in sydney and i told them that they don't make the strut for the v35 coupe and the guy was adamant that they will fit the v35 coupe and gave me that product code. Please help guys i really want this strut bar for my engine bay. P.s i have bc coilovers with the damper adjuster knob as well so will the cusco brackets fit them? Thanks

hi guys, as stated in title is a modification/engineering certificate required say if i were planning to put a turbo kit in my v35 coupe to make it road worthy and legal? would this be provided by the performance shop you are doing the turbo at or through the motor registry i.e rms (im in nsw) i will be giving them a call as well could someone please advise or lead me in the right direction to finding more info on this? i know ill have to advise insurance as well also how much is it goig to cost of avg if a cert was required? thanks

exactly right.mate and thats why i will most likely go conservative tune and be done with it...be happy with anything between 250-280 more than enough for a street car...i will look into the pumps and injectors now im in two minds.. but thanks for the comments boys will keep in touch with the build when it gets started!

i would be keen for higher power but i dont think i can afford buidling an engine, paying for this turbo build is already enough! say what another $10k to build it no? i think im going to go 1000cc injectors and fuel pump from deatsch werks as ive heard the walbros are noisy but that could be cause they arent legit, the dw's look good quality imo...a few tuners ive have spoken to are tunehouse in marrickville, toys garage in fairfield, tom at bd4s however he referred me to powertune in wetherill park so did haltech and they also mentioned micks motorsports and i have spoken to crd in croyden and lastly autotech engineering i know have done a few aps kits......any tips and if yas have had work or heard of theirs please chime in.... any feedback as i would like to pick a tuner and get the kit installed as soon as funds are available.

Yea ill keep tuning on e85 in mind excuse my knowledge but how safe and is there still a chance the rods will go even though its tuned on e85? Which haltech ecu? i think there's a platinum pro and the elite which the guys at haltech spoke about when i called them today. Alex what figure dod you start off b4 the turbo kit was installed? Im surprised i would have thought at least 240kw? I guess every car/ dybno is different? how much nm of torque did u end up with?

Hi guys managed to get my hands on one of the above kits for my v35 6mt. i have found topics on this before but just wanted to see anyone out there who has fitted these to their v35/350z in nsw? Im looking at finding a tuner who has vq knowledge or have done a few of these as i want a reliable boosted car. Also wanted to see what power you guys had in these as i know its about anywhere from 230-280rwkw and on what psi? One last thing can anyone recommend good injectors and fuel pump and ecu? Any help would be appreciated and so keen on boosting my car.

Hi guys the dreaded 3rd gear is going on my 04 v35 coupe. Only normal changes will do, anything harder and it will struggle. Do i need to change it asap or i can leave it till later in future? Also i am looking to salvage a cd009 tranny from the wreckers, can anyone advise which models 350z/v35 i will find the cd009 transmission?Or even the sedans? Otherwise id have to source brand new from the states. Cheers

Hey man kids are fine at the back and is more than enough space for groceries...you can also fold the rear seats dpwn for larger items as well minus the kid/s though.... I have a sub in the boot and I can still manage groceries haha get 1! Awesome cars

$10k for supercharger $16k for tt kit thats kit fit and tune and youd be running low psi and no extra mods needed not until you want more boost/power etc

White can look mean as when done properly but yea just sayin! Graphite gives you a good base to start off with and you can mix n match easier too...

oh btw how often do you guys with black cars wash urs? is it bad to clean once every weekend? though clean black cars cant go wrong! thats why i do it only cause i love it so much haha
