  1. Please!! Anyone tape F1 on Sunday? I haven't missed any races this season and when i do its the best one! If anyone can get it on CD i'll pay for it and then some, or else tape is fine. Thanks
  2. Sweet. Thanks Man i wish i could go to Tokyo. (Maybe next year)
  3. Is the final concept of the GTR going to be released at tbe Tokyo Motor Show?
  4. Mine doesn't and its the only gripe about the car. -Dan
  5. Thanks Al. Yeah the spacer would probably be the way to go. The buckets will add more support though so in time i mite invest in that. Nah no sunroof but headroom is not tht much of a prob. ... my clutch is on its way out and it picks up late in the pedal travel, thts why its so annoying. Are the spacers easy to install? How much do they usually set u back? -Dan
  6. Hey, I own an SI R33 and have the standard seats. Now im 6 foot and have the seat all the way back and the seat almost vertical so as to be close to the wheel to help judge the corners better. Driving it hard my left foot is still cramped and its hard to let the clutch out all the way. Now i was thinking about getting some racing seats and wanted to know how low do the actually make the driving position? Has anyone else had this problem and has a similar prefrence in driving position? -- Whats the best solution? If only the bloody steering wheel was adjustable it would all be good! Thanks -Dan
  7. I was thinking now that Barrichello is moving to BAR Honda and what with his experience, I would hope they will use him to help develop the handling for the new NSX. From what I’ve read it could be a V10 and with his experience in F1 he'd be a nice addition to the production team. -Dan
  8. Hmm 10 Grand. Would an Rb26 really be a worthy 10 Grand. power mod? (Over a standard Rb25det) -Dan
  9. Just out of curiosity how much would an RB26 conversion cost on a R33 Gts-t ? -Dan
  10. Yeah i think Archie is right. Lets stick to Skylines on the Nur, how bout just stock factory models R32,33,34 Gtr's and Gts-t's and version wise the VSpec II the highest you can go. No driving assists no mods and sport tyres? (Basic factory specs) I guess the times can only be comparable to specific models. ? -Dan
  11. Can people post up their best lap times. Any track. (Don’t forget the Nur :aroused: ) List: Track (Reverse/Normal) Car Mods (Include TCS/ASM) Tyres Wheel or Keypad (With the wheel include wether your settings are on Amateur/Pro/Sim) It’ll be interesting to compare our times. Don’t cheat it’ll only work if everyone is honest. Thanks. -Dan
  12. This is (supposedly) the ultimate setup. One short the cardboard car cut-out. -Dan
  13. its alright dude no harm done. -Dan
  14. Well im glad you got that sorted out. Phew! Man give us non-geekheads a break, sorry i'm not as up to date as your are on all the hot rumors regarding the different versions of ps2 steering wheels.
  15. Is that the driving force proII or I for $300 with the game? -Dan
  16. Their Response: Our Ref: 11-22388 Daniel Dear Daniel Thank you for your letter of 2 September, 2004. This correspondence has been brought to the Minister's attention. She has asked that you be informed that she is examining the matter you have raised and will reply to you as soon as possible. Once again, thank you for your letter. Yours sincerely Michelle Dreezens Administrative Officer 8 September, 2004
  17. Comment on Michelle Roberts Media Statment: Well thank you for another pointless and stupid law. Pardon me for asking but do you have any clue as what is really required in achieving safe roads? Training! So instead of overfilling your fat wallets from pointless speed cameras spend a little (Sorry I know that is hard for you to swallow) and enforce young drivers to focus on learning HOW to drive rather than on learning HOW to pass their driving test. Our system for acquiring a driver’s license is an absolute joke. Yes it is CHEAP to have them sit a stupid computer test and then go for an obviously routine drive. Well how about spending some MONEY on getting our young drivers to go through advanced driving courses to learn how a car will react under extreme situations and to learn from experience of possible dangers and repercussions. How about constructing more compact circuits around the metropolitan area, as they have in other countries, which will allow drivers more opportunity to go out and enjoy their cars in controlled environments. Obviously these alternatives are too time consuming for you people to look into and let’s not forget EXPENSIVE. No you just go about letting people acquire their licenses and allow them to go about driving thinking they are indestructible. Then it’s much easier to point the finger and come up with bonehead laws to make yourself look good. Because in the end its all about having a good image for the older population who actually vote and have no idea in these regards. Funny how that is! Here is another point to chew on. Many of these “Hoons” are car enthusiasts and their cars mean more to them than you would understand. That is why by introducing a law like this you can expect a whole lot more high-speed chases and more danger to the public. I wonder why you did not include that in your statement? Its common sense that most of these cars will out run and out handle a police car so what kind of choices do you leave them with?
  18. I also heard that the public can report you. Which is SO stupid. But their argument is that they need to seperate witnesses to confirm what they saw. But still its BS! -Dan PS Who shouldn't we vote for??!!
  19. yeah the first thing i did was the timing belt how do u tell if the fuel pump is on its way out i sometimes get flat spots, feels like some kind of restriction, don't know if it has anything to do with my fuel pump, when i accelerate hard. Now i try to keep the fuel level up so the pump doesn't have to work too hard. So there no good places? -Dan
  20. How much does it cost to get fuel, water, oil pumps replaced? (in perth) Just a typical figure and hopefully someone knows a good reliable place that will do it... I'm over 100k so its time and I can't be bothered doing it (uni/work) Thanks. (PS how much power can u get safley out of standard pumps?) -Dan
  21. Like everyone else i've experienced this myself recently. R33 gts-t. Changed my oil a week ago, same stuff Motul 4100 but i overfilled it a bit and i changed oil filter from a cheap brand to a ryco one. I've used same oil before and i never had a problem. Only started happening after my last oil change. It wouldn't have anything to do with the oil being overfilled? (i don't think so) Mite be the ryco filter..but its a good brand so once again i doubt that would be the culprit. It also only happens after i've been pushing it for a while. Gauge drops to almost 0. Pain in the ass! and scary. Go figure. -Dan
  22. Whats wrong with Turbolight?? I get it from motoquipe...they've also have the 8100. What other ones are there? That are better than the 4100 turbolight? (mainly for street use) ta -Dan
