  1. Probably doesn't help you too much but C33 Laurel and A31 Cefiro are the same also
  2. Stock DET ECU he said I've seen it done on an RB20 and it worked, I'd personally get an AFR check just to make sure everything is safe
  3. I'm surprised they still do it, seeing though Famous is now a corporate partner of CAMS and Shannons isn't
  4. Not if it runs a feed straight from the battery though
  5. I had no idea steel wool had grades. I must get the 0000 by accident or something but I've never scratched any glass with it
  6. I'd use steel wool and see what the outcome was personally
  7. Think about the difference in the offset... 3mm. You won't even notice. The subframe or panel alignment could have more difference then that.
  8. Those rears are fork type which only fit GTS4 or GTR
  9. I went to chequered because my car had been tuned there by the previous owner. Had a great experience, Trent and Cat both so friendly and helpful. I had wastegate spring issues and Trent changed it over with springs he had in stock, no problem. He also found a loose earth wire that was causing havoc high in the rev range. I would (and will) go back in a heartbeat. I travelled from Bendigo to him (2.5hrs each way)
  10. Yeah I reckon I will, just don't know how far to go parting wise.
  11. Well this is disappointing news, fellas. Haha
  12. Wreckers are asking like $5500 for a stocker
  13. RB26 package value? Hi guys To cut a long story short, I have a Laurel with a 26 in it and the engine isn't registered to the car nor engineered. I have a few RB20's in various states and am reasonably tight for funds so thought I might sell the 26 off and put a 20 in for more legality and $. Here's where SAU helps: I can't find any RB26 packages for sale to get an idea of a price without ripping myself off or anyone else! I'd either sell it complete or part bits and pieces off it. Internals are unknown, will pull the sump off and have a look when the engine is out. Specs are as follows RB26 internally unknown, runs quietly and smoothly and does all the right things Trust (or copy?) stainless manifold HKS gate Garrett T04Z pretty sure 0.82 rear Power FC tuned very poorly, was told it's a "run in tune" Bigger injectors but unknown specs Twin Z32 AFM's genuine Trust Y pipe to suit Missing coil pack cover I think that about sums it up Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kindest regards, Nick
  14. I did the same thing to my battery when I got it. Same battery actually. Guys at the shop said don't do it up tight, I didn't... but it still snapped. From memory the outside size on the terminal is like 19 or 22mm, I had an open end spanner on it and did it just to where it got tight, then put like 2 fingers pressure on and, snappo. I was blown away. But it's only brass, and only about M5 or M6 thread so shouldn't expect too much out of it I guess.
