Not sure of the pricing or your budget but I know of a RB25DET manual half cut coming for less than 3K.
Guy brings in Scooby stuff and got offered the half Nissan to fill up the container and asked me if it was worth bringing in.
Let me know if your interested and I'll PM the contact details
Cheers

I'll let my daughters know.
I know No1 (the revhead) would be interested.
No 2 could be interested too .Even though she'd never before been that interested in cars while looking for a new car she decided on a Corolla over a Pulsar. I asked her why she just replied "well it's got 100kw compared to 92".
Guess she inherited some genes from me after all.
Yep all 3 within an hour.
Great place though The James Bond island tour is good too, just try to hire a speed boat if your in a group(much faster, get to the different spots before the crowds and less time travelling etc etc)

The track and wheelbase are two different things(correct me if I'm wrong)
Track is the width with wheelbase being the distance between front and rear axles I believe
The car would look a bit silly if you fitted a wide body kit and left the wheels stock.
I thought that the reason for fitting was to fit larger offset wheels.
Wide bodys with large offset wheels look cool but the authorities don't allow a track increase more than 25mm to prevent stress on balljoints/suspension generally.
No wouldn't be too hard.....as long as you owned Nissan or Toyota.
RBVS
Faking a plate would place you in hot water with the authorities too unfortunately.
The track of any vehicle cannot be increased by more than 25mm legally.
Plus on GTS Skylines as the rim sizes were same front to back you cannot run wider rims on the rear. Think the police don't pursue that one fortunately.

Had a problem with my Hicas computer under the rear parcel shelf.
The compliancer got it wet (don't know how).
It had the same symptoms as yours until I dried it out and it started working again.
So I'd say check that computer first.
If the steering pump is turning without fluid spewing out it's unlikely to be the pump I'd say
Good Luck
Photo is taken from the rear so you'd have to be more that a couple of mm's over.
View the photo but I think you're screwed.
It takes two photos to calculate your speed.
I had two 1965 models years ago that I rallied.
Both were 2000cc 6cyl with one having tripple webers and big fuel tank.
At the time I thought they were a bit of a slug with parts impossible to get.
Cheers
Good Luck guys
I so want to do one of those as a project but my daughter bought me a 1600 as a project car. It's sitting at the panel beaters for the last 6 months but if I found someone willing to swap I'd be there.
Cheers
Is the car driveable but unlicensed?
If it's unlicensed you can just get a permit from a traffic office to drive it.
If it needs towing there is a company called Car Trailer Transport that can pick it up for you.

Just got a set of Toyo Transpath's on my daughters Scooby.
Seemed OK for a "cheap" "performance" tyre.
At $189 fitted for a 215/45-17 seemed a pretty good price as no name brands produced in outer Mongolia go for that sort of money.
Seemed OK in the damp although the daughter's car is not all that powerful.
Got them from Joondalup Tyrepower.
Cheers
Don't worry
The day before my sister in law got her license she put my car into a drainage ditch. You'll be fine so don't stress.
But if you do get it let me know so I can buy a multirider ticket
The photo would have to be blurry as 70kmph is actually 70,000mph or 112,000kph.
Seriously though I hope nothing too bad happens mate but either way I hope you'll learn from this experience
Cheers
Why bother guys for the poofteenth of a horsepower you gain over a larger sports cat.
Lets do the enviroment a favour as most of you will be around longer than an old bugger like me
Well I can definitely NOT recommend Sumitomo.
3%Silicon 97% concrete.
Done 25,000kms on them and they still look new.
Were worse than the stock tyres that came with the REX.
They "flop" around on the rims and squeal like stuck cops.
It takes an amazing tyre (not in a good way) to make a REX feel unsettled in the wet.
I'm watching this thread with interest...looks like S03's so far
Cheers
It's definitely silicon
Get your fingers under one end and lever with them.
Keep the pressure on and it will start to move eventually.
Once it's say 20mm away from the panel start at the other end.
Bossplaya
I always thought condensation was water
Crikey !! Is this Assh#le week?
Give the guy a break and save the holier than thou attitude for those who want to hear it guys.
Technically he broke the law yes but if he hadn't been on his "P's" all would have been fine.
It's not like he plays for the eagles and tried to outrun the cops.
