R32 GT-R Gearbox - SUIT A REBUILD Price: $300.00 Reason for sale: replaced with a brand new R33 S3 gearbag Note 1: I don't have any pictures of this as it is in storage. Note 2: Early model push type box Note 3: I believe that the gearset is OK but synchros are knackered Note 4: It was very difficult to engage 1st gear but the clutch was also on death's door Note 5: Did I mention that it it needs a rebuild?   2. Hi there Have completed conversion from Auto to Manual on my 25de using a 20det box for the most part all I have left is wiring. I’ll be using manual wiring. My question is what is the go to for the inhibitor and also reserve wiring? I’m aware that the inhibitor needs to be bridged but can anyone point me in the direction to which wiring is what or throw a few photos my way if I’m lucky. cheers (p.s first conversion done so am bit of a noob when it comes to wiring haha)
  3. After 4 years at about 350kw I went in to my tuner after I installed my new intercooler to get a checkup. All 6 cylinders had awesome compression and the dyno still showed 354kw atw (lower conversion method used as well). Looking at the shops workers car with the same head setup and turbos using E30 he was getting 437KW...a big jump in response. It convinced me this E thing is worth the investment - now to order some Speedflow 200 series lines. How long are the stock lines in an R32 I cant find anything about that. I know the car is 4500mm. So I was going to get 13m should be enough for 2 feed lines and 1 return. Surely someone has noted it before Thanks.
  4. hi, newbie from Ireland here. iv recently imported a 1993 r32 gtst (rb20det) from Japan via auction. the last few years iv spectated at the Irish drift championship events and seeing 32's galore really got me excited about getting my own. thankfully its not a daily driver for me and will be making some upgrades/ restoration work along the way. recently, iv found Amayama very useful and cost effective buying OEM parts such as trim ect. mine has seen quite a few kms - 250 thousand and showing signs of interior wear and tear. im replacing parts as I go and look forward to making it a good example. its relatively standard with the only mods being- apexi exhaust badly installed radio blitz boost gauge and vacuum lines and what I think, is a GTR front bumper piaa spotlights on front bumper
  5. has anyone installed a Clifford arrow 5:1 alarm into a skyline. my main confusion is around the central locking part of the install. will I need a central locking relay or a motor to physically push the lock in the door? if anyone could shed any light on it, it would be a massive help. thanks

Intank walbro pump which feeds surge tank with 2 fuel filters and a Bosch Motorsport 044 pump for main fuel supply Insight Motorsport Custom Cam’s and adjustable cam gears. Titanium retainers and double valve springs. Rebuild rb25 gearbox Makes 330rwkw (440hp) @ 17psi on 98 fuel We picked up 70kw on th same boost with the cam upgrade. I haven’t run more than 17psi as with the tyres size on the race track it’s hard enough to get the power down. The engine, turbo, pistons and cooling system would definitely handle more power especially with the good ECU and Ignition system it has.   10. Hi everyone, I'm seeking advice with a fuelling issue. My fuel tank had a leak and i took my car(1990 r32 gts-4) to a mechanic to get it fixed up. He fixed the leak and replaced my lines since they were old and cracking. When driving home, when coming to a stop my car would just drop to 0rpm and stall. I took the car back to him and he said i had a bad fuel pump and replaced it. I got my car back, but now my car was idling at 1400-1500rpm. I got home and saw that he had unplugged my TPS, and so it was just going on the fall back system and idling around 1500rpm. After plugging the TPS back in, the car had the same fuel pressure issue. I put a fuel pressure gauge in and when turning the ignition on, the pressure goes up to around 50psi. When i start the car it backs off a bit, down to around 35psi and then just slowly drops to zero and stalls. Does anyone know what this guy could have done or has anyone had this problem before? Just looking to know what I should be checking first.

  17. Hello, Ive just completed my Rb25det neo swap into my r32. Its having a miss on idle, I get RB's dont idle great anyway but i just wanted to get an idea on what might be causing it. Below vid sounds a bit like my car (but isnt my car) My engine is fully stock, just front mount and a walbro fuel pump. I have a cheap FPR I'll chuck in to make sure its not getting too much fuel. I have only done one pull since the swap and it felt ok, I just wanted to make sure it was safe before I take it for a proper drive. Cheers

  19. Hello all, I just bought a 1991 R32 GTS-t bone stock (minus a new cat back exhaust and hks instake) two weeks ago, with no issues other than a crap hicas (getting deleted very soon). The car has started without any issue whatsoever and ran perfectly for these past two weeks until today. I was going for a drive with some friends who were on their bikes and we pulled into a gas station so they could fill up (like 5 min into the drive) and I turned the car off to wait. Went to start it and all lights and power worked, turned the key all the way to start, and nothing. Only a click from the clock area and the red hot cat light lit up a lil brighter. No starter, no starter click, just a turned key and acc (radio, toll card reader, and clock dimming) would shut off until I turned the key back to it's regular 'on' position. I had the biker boys go get a new 30A block fuse (one that goes under the hood) because it looked like it might have burnt out... 15min later and we put a new one in, turned the car on, and vroom it was all good. Went for the drive, no issues, about 30min later we stopped by the beach to take a few pictures. Turned off the car, went to start it 3min later and same issue. No starting at all, and same reset of the acc. Started looking at everything we could there, still looked good, started looking up any info on my phone and only found the classic "turns over but doesn't run". No one with my issue from what I could find. While on my phone searching, I decided "heck it, I'll try to start it again why not" and it started right up with no issues. Decided to go straight home to try to figure it out. Got home just fine and turned it off, then back on and it was fine. Turned it off and tried again but nothing, same issue as before. We checked every fuse we could find (under steering area and hood), none had any issues at all. Took off the steering area plastics to get to the ignition switch, and saw that the brown base was slightly loose, although the screw was very tight. Tried to get the screw out but no luck, so we tried starting it again and it started right up. Turned it back off and tried it again, nothing. Same issue as before. At this point I have no idea where else to look, or how to get the ignition switch out. It's a saturday right now and I have a mechanic who's really good with odd cars and I plan on bringing it to him monday. I'm open to suggestions on what to look for or try. I have yet to look at the relays by the fuses but that's the only other thing I can think of. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them because I have no idea. Battery is also new and tested good. Thank you in advance!

  21. What's up guys I'm new to the skyline scene I just purchased an R32 gtst with rb25 Neo. When my car was delivered the odometer and speedometer wasn't working. Took apart the dash doesn't seem like there's an issue. a friend was telling me the later year rb gets it's signal off diff, earlier rb is mechanical gets it off the trans.ones analong ones electronic? How can I fix this or is it something else ? Thanks

    Damn R32s are getting had to find in South Australia!! have had one in the shed for around 4 years now and planned on putting 180sx rocket bunny flares on it, like the pic below. the front fine, can always get new front guards if i hate it, BUT the rear is a lot of cutting and theres no going back from it. I just dont know if i can bring myself to cut it!!! never thought id say that about a run of the mill 32 gtst!!!!!!!!! im just really struggling with it haha on 1 hand i can have a wide car and put some awesome rims on it........ on the other hand i dont know if i can bring myself to cutting it up, theres no going back. but never found a set of rims i love on a standard / rolled 32 gtst any pics of awesome looking wheels on stock ish body 32s? specs?

    Hey guys - So I had issues with my gearbox coming out of 4th gear off throttle. My mechanic looked at the joint from the shitter into the gearbox and we replaced it anyway but no change. Then my tuner actually took it apart as he noticed the boot at the bottom of the shifter was gone so that made these quiet again and also stopped some fluid spilling over the top. He also noticed that the shifter had some parts install wrong and fixed this (grrrr at my mechanic). This fixed the 4th gear pop out issue but then I was driving along and off throttle again and 5th gear popped out which it has NEVER done. Now im just confused as to why its changed from 4th to 5th with a correctly installed shifter. Any ideas?
