  1. Looks like the time has come for me to sell this gallant steed after owning it for near 7 years. I'm not in a rush to sell but also have no real need to keep it. Time to move on to something new. Please note, this car will be sold as a 'track car with rego', the new owner can choose which path they wish to take. I purchased this car back in August 2012 with 152,000kms at which time it had minor mods running just over 200rwkw and completely stock body, suspension, etc. It was a daily for the original owner who did a lot of highway driving. Originally it was used as a weekend car which progressed in to the occasional event and then to full time 'track car'. It has however retained full rego but it is honestly only driven on the street to get to local events. It has always been well maintained with fluids being changed reguarly. Have had many good results with the car over the years, particularly at Mount Panorama events with multiple 1st in class and the odd top 3 outright. Car has been built up to suit WTAC clubsprint rules, only thing you need to change to compete in clubsprint right now is the tyres. Alternatively, most parts can be included to return this back to a street car with some impressive power. It's possible I will miss something below so if so feel free to shoot through any questions. Test drives will be allowed only after a deposit is made. 2. Hey guys, I recently bought a 1998 R34 GTT Coupe, and it has come with some Tein Super Street coilovers (P/N QEN68-Z1531 at the front and QEN69-Z1531 at the rear), which just don't fit the car properly, it sits too low in the front and can't be raised any more. This means that the car scrapes on every bump in the road and even on moderate cornering. As far as I can tell, these coilovers are designed for an R33 GTR?? So I am planning on changing them out for Bilstein shocks and King springs, which I have been doing a bunch of reading about Sydneykid's group buy back in about 2006 I think. Seems like a really good street/occasional track setup for a daily driver. Just wanted to check that it's still a good setup nowadays for the money. Also, I noticed that Sydneykid said that the ones he sold were individually valved for each sale: "Yes Daniel, I have specified revalving for the Bislteins to suite the spring and bar rates I have chosen." So I'm wondering if I will need to get my Bilsteins revalved as well? Additionally, I have read on the group buy that the Bilstein shocks are height adjustable by circlips? But I'm not quite sure what this means and if it is specific to the Sydneykid group buy, or if all Bilstein shocks are height adjustable. If I am aiming for approximately the 350mm front and 340mm rear (wheel centre to guard) that is recommended in the group buy, will the Bilstein shocks and kings springs around that? Sorry for asking so many questions, any help is appreciated, cheers.

  5. Disclaimer, I don't excuse myself for my behavior. I'll split this up into two parts, Before kids and after kids. Cause that's what'll stop you building kiddos. Children. You like cars? Unless you are swimming in cash; WEAR A f**kING CONDOM. (My 4 children are my blessing, I wouldn't have it any way; Just giving real advice) So a good half a decade or probably more, I purchased an R34 GTT. Always been a S chassis boy prior, Wanted to do a big power SR20 skidder with an RB box behind it...Till I drove a big power SR. They ain't exactly fun, So can only get so much out of 2.0L and 4 cylinders before it becomes a shit car to drive. Then thought about RB converting my 180 at the time, Put the pen to paper and decided the wiser move would be to just buy a Skyline. At the time, Japanese cars were still cheap and Tracy Grimshaw's head didn't have so much girth. (What a mad word.) So I bought an R34 GTT. Seemed like the right choice at the time for someone who wanted a big power skidder. Motor was healthy with perfect comp, Cleaned it up and sent it for a nistune with Toshi. During the process we found the car had a Link G4 ECU; Winning! She made a healthy 190RWKW with the standard snail on 98. Can't remember the boost guys, But don't bother doing this with a standard OP6 turbo; It'll shatter as I found out laying a good 2nd for the boys, Cause you DDTB nomsayin? So after the f**k about on that, I got motivated to build that drift car. Kept it real simple; - 1000cc Injectors, Kinugawa TD06 W a Garret 60-1, Walbro 460 In-tank pump and E85. Got Mick's Motorspot involved for the tune. She made 310RWKW like a baws. I through on a full adjustable steering kit and sat the car on some Blitz ZZR coilovers. I have purchased pretty much all coil overs for my vehicles over the years; For the couple extra quid; Get the Blitz ZZR's. They ride perfect in every way I want. Soft, But not too soft. Firm enough to feel the road. Good travel and handles well when the car's weight is shifted around suddenly. Got some basic aesthetics for the car. Remember kids, OEM+ wins. (Phone camera's also got good). First off. I know. I fuggin know. Dat seat height. I'm a big boy. This thing was a blast to drive, I can't remember what year it was but I was going to try taking my drifting more seriously (Yes. I was going to skid this thing. How f**king insane is income when you don't have children) but then the head lifted from my go happy right foot and the missus pregnancy test showed positive... Which contrary to what I initially thought; Positive does not mean all good. What a shit time for something like this to happen! I'll never get the car done! And so she got put into the shed (Considered selling a few times but couldn't) and our friend Tracy... Well she got kinda popular among us. The police started to bully us. Defect stations were everywhere. Every "Mitsubishi WRX" was on today tonight getting defected. Now I am not saying that I am directly responsible for Sydney's lock-out laws, But last time you could have a good night at The Cross with bag'n'the boys; This car was running. Co-incidence? I think not.

  10. My current project car is a '92 Supercharged MX5, I've been building it over the past 5 years but sadly its time to move on. Like most, my dream car is an R34, a GTR will always be out of my price range but I would certainly be happy with a GTT. I'd decided the MX5 would be stripped and sold in September when the insurance expires and then start the search for a clean R34. I wouldnt be a true car enthusiast if i wasn't already looking for cars on the interweb with this decision in mind. My fingers were starting to hurt after refreshing various selling and auction sites here and Japan too often. One car I kept being drawn back to was a white Series 2. It ticked all the boxes for what i was looking for, except it was the facelift front bumper that was preventing me from looking deeper into the details. So i messaged the seller and asked for a few more details and photos, very quick responses and the amount of photos asked on request was overwhelming. Was it worth the 7hr round trip to go look at it, to potentially not like it? If it was as clean as it was in the photos, something major must have had been up with it if i was to walk away. Luckily this wasn't the case, infact the car was even better in person. After a test drive and a good poke around i really couldnt fault the car except for a knock on the driver side rear. So with an offer made he accepted and I drove away extremely happy! The 170ish mile drive home was faultless and i look forward to digging in and putting my own stamp on it. It would have been rude to not get some photos, especially with the MX5 Nissan Skyline R34 GTT Series 2 RB25DET NEO 6 Manual Transmission Imported in 2016 by IBE Cars in Huddersfield,UK Resprayed in original Pearl White in 2017 Its stock except for a custom turbo back exhaust, HKS mushroom filter and aftermarket stereo
  11. Welcome. Welcome one welcome all - to partz for sells. Can post auswide, pm for costs. First - Nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Fairly new, and in good working order. These are BRAND NEW - didn't even make it to the garage, and are still in the box. In excellent working order and worked well for me, but now have a standalone ecu. In good working order as pics show. Hey guys! So I’m starting to look into putting in some new suspension stuff. Just want to get the opinions and suggestions about what shocks/springs to go with for that smooth ride, or if coil overs are the way to go. Just really to hear your guys experience with either. Any help is greatly appreciated

  15. Hey guys, been trawling through every forum trying to find diagrams and pictures to help with wiring an auto to manual conversion for my R34 GTT. Have done everything apart from wiring. I have read a thread but had no pictures. Think I've done all the gearbox wiring correctly, however, struggling to find the inhibitor switch. Anyone who's done this should be able to help me? Some are saying inhibitor switch is by the fuse box but still unsure? Thanks in advance.
  16. Hi all So i'm planning on putting a fair bit more power behind my 34. Is a factory Neo, 25det manual. However am struggling to find a good clutch option to hold 300kw (expecting somewhere between 500-600nm of torque). The issue i'm having is because the car is a pull type clutch, not push. I'm also struggling to find an actual in depth guide of converting the 34 gearbox to push type, which would instantly solve my issues. So basically i'm stuck looking for a clutch that can hold that power for pull type, because I cannot find many options over here in New Zealand. That, or has anyone had any experience or know of a guide that shows how to convert it to a push-type system? I'm not wanting to swap my gearbox for an R33 one, as mine is in perfect condition. Have heard something about potentially swapping the bellhousings over though? Any advice or light on the subject would be appreciated!

Hey guys, After extensive sound-deadening work in the car floor, I've re-installed the carpet and now re-installing the center console, seats and seatbelts into car - and found that the seatbelt retractor on the passenger side seems to have gotten stuck and won't let me pull the belt out any further. I didn't have this issue on the drivers side, but I didn't have to remove as much stuff around the retractor there. The car is an R34 GTT Sedan. Has anyone run into this before? I'm wondering if maybe I've let it retract too much, and I've hit a safety mechanism? Is there a trick to loosen up a cam or something inside to get it to work again? I notice there's a 4-pin plug on the retractor - maybe something needs to happen there to activate it? Any clues or help would be appreciated.
  23. Hey guys I'm looking for all the Dealership / Factory add-ons you could get for R34's. I can only seem to find for GT-R but looking for the GT-T model, usually its a Brochure / Catalogue. Below is the GT-R Version (Right at the bottom of the page) http://gtr-registry.com/en-bnr34-vin-table.php#OptionCodeStatistics I'm aware that you can get the Black Dash Cluster and gauges but wanna see what else is out there. Thanks
  24. $19,000 ONO Selling my R34 GTT Series II Manual Coupe as I just don't drive it much anymore. NSW rego until late August 2019. Located in Dubbo 2830. Have owned the car for about 4.5 years, and it was imported by the previous owner in 2011. It currently has 142,000km. Timing belt was done at 80,000km when the car was imported. Car was completely stock until August 2017 when the turbo needed to be rebuilt. The stock turbo was rebuilt and high-flowed by HyperGear in Melbourne and it is their G2 build with a ball bearing core. I then added a HPI Turbine Outlet and dual outlet front pipe, and had a local exhaust workshop make up a 3in stainless system with a new high-flow cat converter. I have put in a stealth FMIC using a Frozen Boost intercooler and home fabricated piping kit, similar to this guide, with pipes beaded professionally: I have a spare GTT ECU, ready for Nistune to be installed. All the stock parts (exhaust, intercooler) are available if desired. Body is in good shape, with few minor dents and only thing that will need attention is the bootlid as the centre brake light area is starting to rust. Interior is very good except for the driver's seat which needs recovering on the corner as pictured. I'm not very interested in swaps, but could consider it for something from the 70s of similar value like a panelvan.
