Audible beep when come to stop / speed 0 Hi, Got a strange one here i think. I have a 2005 Nissan Skyline V35 250gt. Someone run up the back of me recently (not too much damage) and ever since i have this annoying audible beep that happens when i come to a stop or speedometer hits zero. It only beeps once. sounds like its coming from the center console but cant see any dash warning lights when it happens. anyone know what this could be? had a quick look through the English converted manual (US infiniti version but still looks like it is the same) and couldn't find anything. 2001 250 GT problem Hi All, If I have this in the wrong category, please shift it across as necessary my 2001 250GT has a miss which I presume is a spark plug issue as I don't think they have been changed for a very long time - my daughter previously owned the car.... it has 180,000 km and is in fantastic condition except for the miss, which is worse on start up but seems to improve slightly once it warms up. that would normally suggest a sensor problem, rather than spark plugs, but my daughter had the vehicle tested by a service shop and they say the codes suggest bad spark plugs. i will be in Auckland late November from my home in Canada, and i intend to start by replacing the plugs and then go forward from there. My questions are as follows: 1. What is the preferred sparkplug for this car? 2. From what I can see it needs a special long sleeve plug wrench. Are they readily available in NZ or should I buy one online? 3. Any other hints or tips that may help? I assume it will be a tough job to get the back three plugs out. thanks al Gill Edmonton Canada

2006 250GT Aux/16 pin connector Hey guys, I've been using my bluetooth for music in my 2006 Skyline 250GT for months now and I'm finally over the cutting out issues, so I've taken apart my center console and had a look and see why there is no cables coming through the 3 holes used to red/yellow/white cables. I know absolutely nothing about these sorts of things but as per photos, the 3 plugs were plugged into some box with foam glued around it under the center console (so I couldn't see what it was) I'm hoping it's plugged into the massive (I think 16 pin) connector (refer to photos again) So my question is - Am I able to find a connector somewhere that turns that 16 pin connection into an aux/something for my iPhone to play music? Or am I going to have to resort going to an auto electrician so they can connect an aux. Thanks so much for the help in advance. Cheers, Rupert.

2006 250GT Tire Pressure? Hey guys, Probably an incredibly silly question, but I just want to be sure. I have 225/55R17's all round and I just realized I haven't checked their pressure since I got the car. I got told from a friend that it's 32PSI so I went out to the gas station to go check it all. It's 24 degree weather today (Not sure if that matters) A couple were around 40PSI as the others were mid 30. I changed them all to 35PSI and I'm not too sure if I was meant to do that all around? I don't know if it's just my brain thinking the ride was a bit more 'bouncy' or if it actually is. Am I meant to have higher pressure in the rear or vice-versa? I have too many questions, if someone could put my mind at ease it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Newbie V35 Owner Hey everyone! Long time lurker, decided I'd finally make an account & start asking the questions myself. ? I currently own a 2001, 250GT Skyline. I absolutely love it to bits but find it sluggish unless I'm already doing 80ks. 2nd Australian owner of the car with legitimate 90xxx on the clock (Yay!) Ignore the Subaru, little brothers car & only good photo of mine. ?

Hi guys, I've been trying to figure out what's happening with my 2002 250GT and so far this is what I've been able to find using the NDS2 software. Fuel pressure reads about 6.8 - 7.0 at idle to 10.3 at WOT. When I disable the fuel pump, let the pressure drop then enable it again, there's a whirring noise like a stuck bearing as the pressure builds up. I'm assuming this is the high pressure fuel pump, although it isn't really specified (there's only 1 'Fuel Pump'). Has anyone else experienced this before? And if it is my high pressure pump, any idea what the issue may be? Cheers

New guy Hey guys/girls My names Rupert, from NZ, purchased my first car over the year of 1993 finally haha. It's a V36 Skyline 250GT '06 - Very happy with my purchase and I'm not a whole lot knowledgeable with cars, but I love em, so it'll be great to be apart of this forum and learn a whole bunch. Very sad that there's really no point in doing any mods to a V36. Probably some nice wheels and lowered, plastidip here and there, but that's about it... right? Looks forward to the forum. Cheers.

Hi All, I recently purchased a 2002 Nissan Skyline V35 250GT, and have used this forum for almost every query I've had with it, so before I post my questions (and sorry in advance if they have already been covered), I would like to thank all contributors of the VQ Series forums for their insight thus far. I'm looking at changing the spark plugs in my V35 250GT, but can't find any part numbers for iridium plugs. I've searched on the NGK website and the only option it provided was LFR5BP-11 (Platinum). If anyone has changed theirs with iridium before on the 250GT, please let me know which ones and if possible, an approximate price and/or recommended retailer...? I also wish to upgrade the air intake with a Stillen system or JWT/Stillen. If anyone has done this on the V35 before, please let me know what products you installed and through whom you purchased them - all I'm finding at the moment is retailers from the US and limited compatibility information. And finally, if anybody has any insight into reprogramming/translating the nav system, please let me know. I am aware Chris Rogers has moved to the US but was curious if anyone has "taken over". I am situated in Adelaide, South Australia. Any guidance with the above is much appreciated, Thanks
