  3. Hi guys I have a v35 coupe 2004 auto. I'm looking for a project in the near future, there's a few options I'm thinking of and one of them is engine swapping my v35... I want to slap another nissan engine in ! I thought a vk45 or a vq30det would be cool.. and yes I know they will be huge projects but that's why they're called projects... I got a few thousand to play with but not moon money if that makes sense ! Any ideas/help/ advice on either would be appreciated ! Cheers team
  4. Hey everyone I recently bought a 2003 350gt and am in love. I'm having an issue on the drivers side door. When I first open the door the window doesn't auto drop. I have to close the door and then open it again for it to work, but the autodrop goes down by around an inch. Way more than the other side. I recently changed the window motor as it was dying a slow death and this issue has been here before then. I'm hoping it's just an adjustment issue and wondered if anyone has any tips on how to adjust the window position? It seems to sit slightly low at the front of the window. Any help here great fully appreciated. Thanks Richard
  5. Hey everyone I’m looking for a Motordyne shockwave tdx2 exhaust and I can’t find a place that imports them to Australia would anyone know a place? And should I get art pipes with them ? thanks
  6. RARE Black Manual '06 350GT - very hard to find this exact colour, model and spec in Australia, and it's 100% STOCK and in excellent condition. $12,400 ONO This is a regrettable sale of my beloved 350GT. Selling as we have moved to a new place with only one garage spot and my partner doesn’t drive manual so we need to sell both our cars and buy something *sigh* more practical. My loss is your gain. You’ll love this car as much as I did. As the first Australian owner I was very lucky to pick this car up at auction in Japan in 2015 with my complete wishlist of everything you would want in a 350GT: Manual Transmission Black Paint (recently fully professionally cut & polished and looking STUNNING) Sunroof No Mods 100% stock mechanically meaning lower insurance premium or great starting point for a project car Rare 2006 model year with more powerful tune on the engine, tighter suspension, the more attractive special edition tail-lights, brushed aluminium interior and beautiful alloys. The '06 release was the best of the V35s and as well as all these nice upgrades they fixed a bunch of other issues with the earlier models. Leather Motorised Seats Motorised Info Screen Imported and complied through Carizma International in Abbotsford with low 90k kms on the clock, only done 25k in the 3.5 years since then. Always stored undercover and not driven hard. Serviced regularly with full synthetic oils. The car has a timing chain so no 100k km service was necessary. Recently serviced in January and garaged and not driven since. Just had it fully detailed inside and a full cut and polish on the paint and it's looking stunning! General Condition Mechanically great condition, no issues. Engine still pulls nicely and never skipped a beat. Paint in great condition with only the odd minor scratch and stone chips you would expect of a car this age. Interior very clean and in great condition with a couple of small scrapes on the passenger side dash that have been there since I imported it. Some scuffs to the very edges of the alloys which have been there since I imported it. Features you'll love: The LOOKS The 3.5l engine putting out the top spec of the V35s - over 200kw - plenty of grunt Bose stereo kicking out great sound Sunroof Motorised, Full Leather Seats The LOOKS! There are a few small things to mention, as there always will be for a car of its’ age: Passenger side window ‘auto up’ doesn't function properly - however ‘auto-down’ is fine and manual up is fine. Drivers side fully functional. Stereo is stock with FM converter. CD stacker was going great for years but became jammed last year. Had a wireless screen-casting device installed which allows you to play content off your phone on the stereo though so that’s been fine for me. Please no time-wasters or tire kickers. Only enquire if you intend to buy. Reply on here to enquire or directly through CarSales: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2006-nissan-skyline-350gt-v35-manual/SSE-AD-6066495/
  7. Factory manual LSD removed from a 2003 V35 350GT 6 speed with 130,000km on it. This diff is in very good condition with no noises or vibrations - removed from a running vehicle, not a crashed or thrashed one. Diff is currently at my mechanic's workshop. We removed and replaced it with another one due to suspected diff bearing noise, however the noise persisted after the swap and turned out to be a wheel bearing instead. Cheap LSD upgrade for auto V35s, with a slightly shorter ratio for better acceleration. I believe it may fit the 350Z too (can't guarantee this). There are also conversion kits available to make these fit S/R chassis vehicles (have to change tailshaft, though) as a strength/LSD upgrade. Can organise postage at buyer's expense or local pickup available from Melbourne west or south east. $350
  8. So I’ve got an east west sports muffler at the back and hi flow cats it’s sound late great but i can hear a rattling sound and sometimes sounds tinny. The rattle was there before the exhaust was installed. I have some videos of the exhaust sound because I don’t know if it’s just me or it sounds really cheap. Let me know if you want the videos posted on
  9. How many kilometers is the service required on the 350GT? As mine is under 50k when would I need to do its first service?
  10. Just recently got back from a weekend up in Auckland for my daughters wedding. The car performed very well, traveling around 1336km over the five days (only drove four days of it, gave it a rest 3rd day). Averaged about 11.4k/l. That includes city, Auckland motorway & open road driving. Took the Desert Road in its stride (fun, fun, fun), purred like a pussy cat, even got it up to 140kph in a couple of the long straights! It's just so easy to drive!
  11. Hi I have been reading a lot on international websites and SAU. But I have yet to come across a method that works with programming our remote on our 350gt. So I would like to know if anyone in AU/NZ has managed to programme a key remote? There are programmers out there that do this for a living so I dont see how this is not achievable by ourselves. People from the USA seem to be able to programme their keys without any problem but I have not seen anyone here in AU/NZ that manage to do this ourselves. Also one thing I am not so sure of as I dont have any numbers on my Nissan key, is the part number. Are they compatible with the KBRASTU15 replacement key that is so common on ebay? What is the frequency on our remote? Thanks for hearing me out. Cheers.

  14. Hey guys New to this forum, recently bought a V36 350gt Type SP, and it has what looks to be an antenna/parking pole, in the front bumper on the passenger side. I've spent the last hour or so looking reading through owners manuals, but no luck. Does anybody know how to retract it? Currently it's up whenever the car is on and I'm finding it a bit annoying. Attached are a couple of pics. Any help would be appreciated Cheers!
  15. Hello. My name is Kevin from Palmerston North, NZ. I have just purchased a silver 05 350GT sedan & loving it. It has the standard Japanese txt on the screen which you can hide! Slowly working through all the buttons & switches that I know nothing about. Have gone from a 2ltr to a 3.5ltr in a matter of hours! Will post pxt when I have taken some. L8r
  16. Hey guys. I just bought a gt350 from Sydney, I love it. But unfortunately one of the previous owners HD scratches both front bumpers and rims on gutters. I was informed of the site carID, I know it's an American based warehouse, I have found a body kit that I like on this site. I'm just concerned about the price of customs into our borders and the price of shipping from America. Has anyone else used carID or can anyone suggest an Australian shop which I can get a body kit for my car? Thanks
  17. $13,250 (NEG.) The time has come to depart with my Skyline. This has by far been the most reliable and enjoyable car I’ve owned. The car has been my pride and joy, washed fortnightly and spent most of its time driving 20 minutes to work. The car has never been in an accident and has been serviced about every 6 months (receipts available). I’m the 3rd owner but still have the original import papers, Japanese log book and AU compliance plate. General wear and tear here and there but very good condition for a car of its age. - 115,XXXkm - Nov 2006 build, 2007 model - Rego till Sept 18 - Apple CARPLAY unit (English), works alongside factory Jap unit - Aux cable - BOSE audio option - Semi forged Koya 19x8.5 (front) & 19x9.5 (rear) rims - Falken 453s with plenty of tread - Set of stock rims with tyres included I’m regrettably selling the car to make way for something awd which I can take to the snow. The car is up for $13,250 but I’m open to reasonable offers. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Aaron 0432881794 mapex.m@hotmail.com Baulkham Hills, NSW
  18. Hi Guys & Girls Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, I did search the forums but could not fin the info. Please advise link if there is one and I will delete this thread (yes, I'm a total newbie) We finally received our 2003 350GT V35 Skyline (Track Edition) last week. I'm looking for an engine oil cooler kit for it and would like to know if any of you have fitted one to your vehicles and which one you used? We are in remote Western Australia so we do not have performance workshops up here to be able to take our vehicle for a custom fitment. I have searched the internet high and low and made numerous phone calls but as the description of the part says it is for a 350z or Infiniti so I'm a bit sceptical to order a $1300+ part not knowing it 100% will suit. To be honest I'm not the full bottle on imports, my partner is the Skyline man (owned the R33 or R34 years ago) of our family but is away working and I need to organise one. I absolutely LOVE the car, so much better than the Hilux I used to own If anyone could share their experiences it would be greatly appreciated. LM
  19. Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew how to reset the imported Skyline 350GT TV to english? I have tried googling but I am not getting anything up. any help would be appreciated Thank you in advance

  21. Hey guys just had a quick question. Recently bought a 2005 manual 350gt. Have noticed a couple things. One was that the seatbelt light stays on in the dash. The other was this morning when I put the car into nuteral it was making some strange noises. Didn't sound good at all. And seemed harder to change gears than yesterday. But then after it warmed up the noise was no longer there and gears got easier. Is this a common problem when the car is cold? Or do you think something may be wrong? Thanks
  22. Hey guys, thinking about buying this car- https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-view-details.html?adId=1161205104 I need your thoughts on it, I have been surfing this forum and most of the v35 threads are 7 years old. So looking at the 2003 Nissan Skyline v35 do you think it is worth buying this vehicle. If so why? I need to know what is the petrol tank capacity, what octane fuel to put in and how long will the car last with urban driving on a single tank. Also I need to know if the car is expensive too maintain seeing that it is 14 years old. What i mean by this is that is it expensive to service, fix broken parts etc etc. I also need to know if it is worth selling my 2010 Subaru Impreza RS Hatch 5sp manual to buy this car?!?!?? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
  23. 2005 Series 2 PV35 350 GT Sedan for sale Extremely Rare 350GT 6 Speed Manual. 212KW series 2, and in perfect condition Car presents almost as new and has verified Japanese Odometer Certificate showing 9700km's when the car left Japan. I have fitted factory cruise control to the car since I purchased it. This Skyline was imported in 2010, and was driven here for a year, then garaged for five years. It had only done 29000 kilometres when I purchased it. The Kays on this car are genuine, not Japanese kays. And you can tell by looking underneath it, and around the car that it has genuinely done very low kays. Fitted with full Tokiko suspension and 18x8 Alloy wheels the car looks great. Still has standard exhaust etc. A beautiful quiet cruiser with around 8.2 litres per hundred kilometres highway driving, and better than 11 around town. Huge fuel tank sees an average of 800 kays to a tank full of fuel. It does require at least 95 rated fuel though. Beautiful unmarked interior with factory mats. Has aftermarket Mongoose alarm, (I don't know why). If your looking for a 350Z, but think they're not practical, this car is basically a four door 350Z. Heaps of torque, and comfort. Also fitted with not only the 6 Speed from the Zed, but also the R200 Diff, which is limited slip. Makes an incredible touring car, as it is seriously quiet, and cruises beautifully. The car will require new springs for roadworthy, and is close to needing disc pads. (I have already had a RWC Check). I will replace the springs, hand the existing ones over to you, and change the disc pads if the price is right. Otherwise a negotiation for you to get the roadworthy will be fine too. Only damage on the car is a scratch on the rear bumper bar, and scrapes underneath because the car is too low. Recently fitted with four new tyres. This really is a beautiful car, and it deserves a great home. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-2005/SSE-AD-4689032 $12,900.00 With RWC. Registered until July next year.

  25. 2003 V35 Skyline 350GT - MODIFIED 2003 V35 Skyline 350GT - ACT - $23,500 Well the time has come for me to make the decision to on-sell my V35. I am a ‘50s something guy’ who purchased this car in July 2013 after searching high and low for about 4 years to find a V35 that was in as good as condition as this one was to satisfy my mid-life-crisis. I am the 3rd Australian owner of this vehicle and purchased the car off a guy on this forum in Vic, who purchased the car off the 1st owner (an older guy who was fastidious about the car) who imported the car back in 2006. I have all receipts for all servicing done to the car while I have owned it, as well as all import and compliance papers, including the de-registration papers from Japan to prove genuine km’s plus a stack of receipts for all mods done to the car by the previous 2 owners. The previous owner spent over 10k on the car. Condition: Excellent. 124,XXX genuine km’s. Accident free. Rust free. Engine pulls like a train. Regularly serviced every 5,000km to 8000km. Car has just been detailed inside and out and under the bonnet for this sale and is spotless. Standard Features: Leather & Suede black/grey interior. The price is at the upper end of the scale, I am aware, but I honestly don’t believe you could find a better condition V35 or one with this level of modification (it took me 4 years to find this one). This car has been such a joy to own, having had no issues whatsoever and is just a beautiful car and a pleasure to drive. A real head turner – literally! It is without doubt one of the prettiest looking 2 door coupes Nissan has ever produced and that is what turns heads (most people don’t know what brand of car it is and I always get comments on the look and exhaust note of the car). Plenty of power with a 0-100 time in the sub 6 secs and can hold it with the best through the turns. There is nothing left to do on this car except maybe a TransGo shift kit. Willing to sell minus wheels (subtract $2500). Car can be viewed in Canberra on weekends – only a reasonable 3 to 3 ½ hr drive from Sydney and it loves that trip back up the highway.
