Hey guys, I have a 93 Nissan R32 Gtr that has started having problems with misfires and dropping a cylinder. I have figured out the problem is coming from the Igniter/PTU (22020-05u00) which I think has suffered from old age/heating issues, started acting up a couple of months ago I am after advice for how I should proceed from here, should I just replace this PTU with a brand new unit from nissan, etc. (~$650) or go with a setup that avoid this aka Okada Projects coil packs or any other alternatives you may know of? Additional mods on ignition Currently have Yellow Jackets Coilpacks and new coilpack wiring harness and 680cc Bosch Injectors. Running Blackbox N61 Ecu Thank you for any info you can offer.

Hi, I'm at a bit of a loss with my R34 GTT. Soon after I got it I'd get a very occasional miss, then the TCS, Slip and Check Engine lights would come on for the rest of the journey. A bit of reading here suggested coil packs. After a while it got worse. The miss would persist until I restarted the car, sometimes for a minute afterwards. I also became aware then the engine note had changed slightly, somehow rougher, even when it wasn't missing. I finally bit the bullet and bought some Yellow Jackets and fitted them this weekend. However I now get the TCS and Slip lights as soon as I turn the key, and Check Engine light once it turns over. The odd engine note has persisted too. Car has done 150,000 Ks, major service done at 94,000 Ks (not by me). Has anyone come across this, or know of an obvious cause? Thanks.
