  3. Hey Guys, This is your invitation to attend the Sparco Academy - a one day motorsport event being held half way between Gold Coast and Brisbane. We usually get a few SAU Members out to our days, but this one is pretty special so i figured it was worth a post! Expect a full day of non-stop action out at the track, with training and events designed to hone your skills, followed by a "top 8" battle at the end of the day, with winners taking home a range of Sparco prizes. We have Professional V8 Supercar Driver Steve Owen and Exedy Pro Drifter Levi Clarke available on the day for classroom sessions and even one-on-one training on track. Anyone with a safe and well maintained car that is not silly-loud is eligable, groupings are based on driver skill and overall car power so the big boys can battle it out, while the beginners can practice! Earlybird Pricing until the 26th is only $190. After then it goes back to the normal price of $250. This includes all classroom training, 4+ Sprint Sessions, Unlimited Skidpan, One-on-One drift training, cruise session and more... $50 extra gets you one-on-one on track driver training with Steve Owen (V8 Supercar Driver)... The one on one training alone would usually be $500+ minimum. Facebook Link: http://www.facebook.com/events/567407649948042/?fref=ts Entry Forms / More Info : http://www.hardtuned.net/sparcoacademy
  4. Hi, my name is Bel and I am pleased to be here. よろしく!I have just bought myself a '92 S13 and am in the throes of sorting out the f ups. I bought my first Sylvia in '95. A C18 fully stock auto. That love affair lasted 10 years and I missed her so bad I only ever wanted another Sylvia. I live up the mountain from Cairns in Kuranda and it is a shame not to have a car that eats up the curves on the range. I now do. I also plan to take Sisi to the Mako track in Mareeba and learn to drift and have some fun 25 years after I got my license. My ultimate would be to drift the range one day - the road conditions in the rainforest are so often perfect - but perhaps I have too much sense these days, unlike the pimply-faced P platers who'd probably kill just to get a ride. Anyways I hope I don't ask too many dumb questions in my trip up the learning curve but I won't be a stranger. I'm keen to make the acquaintance of like-minded girls or guys in the area, so if you read this and like a coffee boost (ha ha), drop in to the Coffee Republic in Kuranda and say 'hi'.

  9. Nissan Skyline 1993 Gts-T RB25det Auto For Restoration/Repair or Parts This car has been owned by my family for the past 5+ years, it was a reliable well driven and well looked after car. prior to the front right corner collision the car was in perfect mechanically working order. Has had prior cosmetic damage to the rear drivers quarter panel. Has done over 200000kms, serviced every 5000km with Penrite Synthetic Oil Aftermarket Accessories Japan JIC Magic 3.5" Cat back Exhaust 3" Dump pipe 1.5x larger R34 Side mount Intercooler for better performance R32 10psi wastegate actuator so it can run and 10psi instead of psi Turbosmart Boot Tee for manual boost control - was not run over 10psi HKS pod filter New O2 sensor Stainless steel strut tower bar with brake booster bracket The above modifications made a massive difference to performance and cost about $700 to acquire the parts. Apart from a tune these are considered a stage 1 upgrade. Wheels/Suspension It also has Nissan 350 Track wheels 17x8 and 17x8.5 with 225 and 245 tires that are relatively new. One wheel however has a crack along the spoke, must have been from a pot hole.. A HICAS block off bar was also installed for better rear control. It has aftermarket japanese non-adjustable coils with King springs MOMO Steering wheel Electronic Electronic wise there is a Caliber Boost gauge and A/F ratio turbo timer. Spares I have a series 2 R33 turbo that has little to no shaft play i was keeping as a spare, these are about $200 alone Also a perfect condition Drivers rear tail light in burgundy. I also have a spare speed sensor And 6 coil packs
  10. I've had this R33 for a little over 1 year, slowly gathering parts and building the engine during that time. During the last couple months I've had some spare time and all the parts ready to go. So it's finally, slowly, coming together. I picked it up in Darwin for 2.5k, and while pretty rough, was a standard manual S1 GTS-T. It came with alot of spares that I've since sold off to fund useful parts. The parts list for it; Haltech plugin pro ECU RB30DET, Spool rods, CP pistpons (20thou oversize), Raw Brokerage oil pump drive, Spool billet oil pump gears, Tomei springs and poncams (R33 25 head). Spool high volume oil sump MetalJacket Balancer GTX35 from Proboost 6Boost manifold, 48mm gate 3.5" cat back exhaust RIPS intake plenum 350Z 6 Speed transmission (CD009). Adapter plate, flywheel and clutch to suit from MA-Motorsports Z Speed Performance concentric slave 350Z Yolk installed onto tailshaft and tailshaft lengthened - waiting for next pay R33 GTR Diff once the standard one dies gktech drop knuckles when a GTR diff goes in Turbosmart FPR 1200 -8AN fuel feed line, -6AN return LS2 coils - coming soon Velo bucket seat + harness Greddy oil relocation thermostat + oil cooler PWR Intercooler Project Mu handbrake shoes Coolant header tank next to brake booster Power Steering cooler and belt Idler gktech front lock knuckles D2 coilovers Still thinking about the majority of the fuel setup. Trimming the fat a bit to recap progress in pics. So going back about a year or so, I started building the 2530. Brass plug removed for VCT mod Internal VCT mod. 2mm down the guts and 1.5mm out the side Oil gallery welded shut New stem seals, valves, Tomei valve springs, lifters and Tomei Poncams Block machined 20thou oversize and a 5mm deep cutout, 15mm in, to clear the exhaust flange No better workshop than your own room All the gear from MA-Motorsports for the 350Z gearbox conversion Bellhousing machined as required for the conversion Adapter plate bolted down And the RB25 automatic bellhousing bolted down With the Z Speed Performance concentric slave installed. Had to drill a few holes for the clutch lines Test fit for clearence, tailshaft measuring and crossmember modding Mounting point is slightly out. The crossmember has already been modded and fits a treat. The shifting position is out by 240mm. gktech should have something to address this soon, hopefully. My return to system from the header tank My effort to save some cash. My $50 beats Ross balancers $330. Power steering belt idler using a subaru timing belt idler, GMB part #JBT658B Engine bay at the moment. The good manifolds will go on once I know the engine doesn't need to come out again. Box out for some minimal tunnel massaging and general tinkering. The 350Z box is actually shorter than all of these. As the old girl sits now.
  11. 1993 Nissan Skyline GTS with built BR20DET Turbo (balanced, blue printed, oil control, forged pistons, head studs, race bearings etc...) prepared for dedicated Drift and Track work. Power FC, Nismo 2-Way LSD with big shafts, Big brakes, full suspension package, race seat and harness, spare wheels, fire extinguisher, CAMS compliant with all markings. Scrutineers no worries. Lightweight chassis. Ready to go nothing to spend. With the big front brakes and 205RWkW professionally tuned, predictable handling and 2Way LSD, it is a lot of fun and slides very well! With a different wheel alignment would be an excellent (grip) track car. The car has done less than one season. Engine about 15 hours old. NO DENTS OR RUST. NEVER needed to limiter bash either. I am a qualified mechanic and am confident it will be reliable to the new owner and can do a compression test / jack it up and look under, whatever test and let you drive it no worries. Action on board footage: Reluctant sale. 13. Custom 3.0 ltr Supercharged R31 Silhouette Skyline, Excellent condition, was used as a daily. Alot of money has been put into this car and it is worth every cent. 14. Need to sell my C33 Laurel asap as im needing the funds for my new car. This is my very first car. Bought as a stocker RB20E. 1989 C33 laurel - RB25DET S2 out of a 96 R33. (ks now unknown but was put in under 100,XXX) - 5Spd manual RB25 Box - ISC coilovers all round - Upgraded R33 front brakes - One piece tail shaft - FMIC - 3" exhaust from dump pipe back - GKtech Dumpipe - Front strut brace - Modplated for engine and transmission conversion. - Blitz S-spec EBC -Turbo timer (not fitted) Bad points: - Car has a dent in the bottom of the LHF door, got hit by a neighbour. - Small rust spot starting to form on the LH C-pillar. - Starter motor is starting to become sticky. - Needs some front tyres, rears are brand new. The car had a boost problem for ages where I couldnt boost past 2-3 psi without hesitation. Found out it was due to a ruptured fuel line from the pump to the pump cradle. Drove fine off boost so it was driven of boost for most of the time until i could figure out the problem. Runs so much better and can now see 10 psi which is what it is set too. Car hasn't been drifted or done burnouts, NO LSD. The 25 is healthy as still no leaks or knocks Contact: Iain - 0422022887 Some vids of the car Idling Quick drive
