This is a walk-through for anyone who is attempting to wire a standard RB25DET Neo into an R32 4-Door Non-Turbo Skyline. The car that I have done the conversion on is a Skyline GTE - (Manual RB20E). This walk-through will work to a tee with this car but I cannot guarantee it will work with any others. Although I would not be surprised if it worked on other cars with an RB20E or RB20DE - if someone could confirm this it would be good. It is also assumed you have already removed the previous engine and wiring loom and have installed the complete engine, standard loom, and sensors from the RB25DET Neo. This is primarily a wiring guide as there are plenty of other tutorials floating around for engine and accessories installation. It will be broken into several different stages as I am still working on a couple of things. Also, if there are questions you have regarding anything else please don't hesitate to ask because I am going from memory on this one.

Hi...i have a problem with my L20et engine...i got the engine from a buddy but the fuel pump relay and EFI relays are missing and don't know where on the ECU the wires for those relays are located...i wanted to know if you can send me a picture or a wiring diagram for this engine please or if you can tell me what pins on the ECU is the wires. Its the original 3 jack type ECU, its also an uncut harness, all the other wires are connected in place straight from the factory from years ago...I could be wrong in asking for this because I don't really know if the ECU controls the fuel pump relay & the E.F.I relay, but i've been looking at L28et diagrams and I saw these relays and thought that since the L20et & L28et are so similar they both should have the same components...but didn't know they had 2 different ECU setups Another thing I wanted to know is if the L20et works with a high pressure fuel pump because the engine isn't in an R30 Skyline, its in a C32 Laurel which originally came with an L24 Carb engine with a low pressure fuel pump which i swapped out with a RB25DET fuel pump. So I was just wondering if anybody can help me with this tiring situation. Thanks!

I have for sale a 300ZX ECU which has a Nistune daughter board installed in it. This install was done by Matt at nistune. I also have a Z32 AFM that will go with it. There is nothing wrong with either of them. I am selling them as I have decided to go down another avenue. $650 for the lot.

Hi After a Stock R33 ECU for a 1995 GTR. Contact: Peter 0405524326

4wd isn't working and so trying to diagnose. Tried to bleed the system yesterday but after disconnecting the green/white plug (pic attached), The pump didn't run and i could take the bleed valve completely out of the transfer case. Someone suggested getting access to the Attesa ECU and reading the faults from that via flashing LED. I got to the ecu but i couldn't see any blinking lights or anywhere that could blink? (pictures attached) Am i missing something here?

Hey guys, I thought I would start a dedicated thread for this question instead of hijacking my own build thread. We are building a Sports Sedan and have an RB power plant we are building for 500+rwkw. Question is...... Haltech or Motec? Already have The Haltech PS2000 and Racepak Dash. But some people have been saying go Motec at this stage. Thoughts?

Hey Guys just wondering if anyone can give me some info on ECUs hope this is the right section ive recently purchased a 95 33 GTS-t and the guy that i got it from wasnt really sure what the previous owner had done, but he was fairly certain it had a Z32 afm and a highflow turbo ive done some searching and the orange sticker on the AFM suggests it is a Z32 and the turbo has also been highflowed today i decided to pull the ECU out and have a look to see what has been done to run the Z32 as it is my understanding that it has to be tuned to run correctly but from what i can find and see the ECU is stock as a rock, number on the front says its from a manual s1.5/2 33 which is correct but im not really sure what im looking for inside ill add some photos to this post any help greatly appreciated

Have a '00 RB25DET NEO (S2) in the 260z, have just done a manual conversion and noticed she is running a little bit rough (small squeeling kind of noise coming from engine). Anyway the car is now throwing a CEL, I went to check the engine codes by shorting out ECU pin 22 to pin 24 (CHK to IGN) to get my check engine codes: I keep getting code 46 and code 44... I have checked everywhere and cant for the life of me find what these codes are, i keep finding the codes in the link below repeated all over the internet but there is no mention of code 44 or 46...http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/266512-reading-nissan-fault-codes-ecu-fault-codes-how-read-them/ BTW Im reading the long pulses as the first number and the short/fast pulses as the second number. Hey guys, Just bought myself a r33 gtst about a month ago as a base to start building up on. The car is by far stock right now the previous owner new what he was doing but never really put any serious engine mods on. So Yea my first issue i had was, trying to put a BOV ( atmos) instead of the stock one it comes with, I'm just driving along and i put clutched in and the car died so i started crapping myself and put the stock one back, did a bit of research and discovered that its because the engines running to rich or something, so i get why it was choking but nowhere/noone mentioned how to solve this problem. So my first question would be, to run a aftermarket atmospheric BOV what do u need to have done air/fuel wise i guess to prevent it stalling/ is it possible for me to have one on with my current specs. Im running a stock ecu and an afm Secondly i was looking at getting an ECU I'm just pretty confused with what to get and like most of my mates bought their cars with ecus / didn't have to pay for their cars thanks to their mom n dad but id like to know and understand what I'm putting in my car, as well as not pay 1.7g for an apex just cause everyone has it. I see that apex comes with a hand controller option where u can tweak the settings yourself, but honestly that sort of thing is not for me, plus I've gathered that the power fc isn't a piggyback its a full takeover stock ecu isn't it. I was wondering if i got something like the Greddy emanate ecu, would that do the job? Cause basically all I'm after getting the parts i want, getting someone who knows more then me to dyne tune it and fix the settings, and if i wanted to change it id go back to my tuner. Hence would piggyback ecu's like Greddy do the job for me? Ill bundle the last few things i was going to get together, Firstly I'm really keen on a high mount stainless manifold to replace the stock one as well as getting rid of the stock turbo and either putting on a KLS T70 or pcp 430.. possibly a garret 35/40 if i manage to get a decent price. Im not looking of running any crazy boosts or ever achieving more then 400hp out of my car so i won't need a crazy turbo, hence I'm guessing any one of those turbos would work. With replacing the manifolds and turbos, did the whole engine have to be taken out, cause I've been reading bolt on everywhere but when i pop the hood on the car, it seems a little more then screwing and unscrewing a couple of bolts. Lastly, I was thinking of getting 550cc nismo injectors and upgrading my fuel pump as a few mates told me those cause significant power increased. Well thats all the things id like to start off with for now really and i would just like some help figuring out the best way to go about doing it/ any other helpful suggestions that i should do instead or as well! Hi I have done some searching, but have not found a clear answer. Will a R33 GTR VSpec Stock ECU work with a R33 GTR? and what issues will there be? I have discovered that changing the ECU in a VSpec can lead to A-LSD problem, so the VSpec ECU sends a signal to the A-LSD computer. However if a VSpec ECU is in a GTR will it operate with no errors or will it produce errors say if checked via the consult port?? Just trying to cover as much as possible about differences for future references, please also post anything else that may be different.

Hi all, Just have a few things that I want to get rid of from the garage. R33 Climate Control Unit The unit is working fine, just a spare one that I have. There's no floppy buttons. The globes are a bit dim so it might be a good idea to replace them if you're not happy with the brightness. Price: $40 R33 ECU Kick Panel The condition of the surface is excellent, no scratches and has all the clips on the back of it. Only the bottom of the front flare clip is snapped off, but the rear clips are still intact. Price: $30 Or you can take the lot for $50! PM me if you're interested. GOT few things dont ned since i sold my skyline 1- RB25 stock ecu , works for both series 1&2 only $30 great for diagnosing your car or going back to stock 1-RB25 crank angle sensor has a minor crack around the plastic conector but all pins are still straight nothing wrong with the unit itself works fine -$15 located in vermont south contact on 0432678853
