Up for sale is my toy that has been replaced with a GTR. Its a 1999 EVO 6 with the following mods: Full exhaust from turbo back Meek intake pipe and filter Tuned ECU Ralli Art battery relocation plate Lowered suspension Original Advan wheels (painted VE Atomic green) Carbon wrapped roof and rear spoiler. Car has also just been serviced with new brakes all around. Brakes also removed and painted 2pac at same time. Car has just clicked 106km. Also has new cooler piping and suspension bushes. I am in Okinawa, Japan and have an M35 Stagea 300RX RWD with VQ30DD. I have done a few mods to it and was very interested in what types of after-market parts will work (cross reference) from the Skyline VQ series, G35/37, and VQ series Z cars. So far, I have added a JP Simple Style front lip, Infiniti G37S Akebono front brake kit, R35 GTR early model 20-inch rims, Tein suspension. Right now I am interested in intakes, plenums & engine/harness covers, and exhaust systems. I believe that most if not all of the plenum (spacers) and intake mods (Z-tube, Stillen, JWT Pop-charger) should bolt right up. I was debating on whether to go with the Kinetix V+ plastic plenum or to go with the MD 5/16" spacer with ISO thermal kit. And as far as intakes, the Stillen w/ Z-tube looks best considering the cold air box and how hot it is here most of the year. Do all of the front strut bars from the Skylines and Z's bolt up with no issues? I realize that there is somewhat of a selection of exhaust systems for the Stagea, but would the G35 sedan exhaust systems match up? If not, what is different? I just ordered a stock G35 coupe mid-pipe so I'm hoping that it bolts right up without an issue. I heard that all of the mid-pipes measure the same length except the Z cars which are shorter. Is there any more info that people can share? Are the headers, cat pipes, y-pipe (or xyz? pipe), and axle back mufflers all basically the same from one car to the next? I was considering getting an axle back muffler like HKS or Fujitsubo offers for the Skyline 350GT sedan but not sure if it will fit.

Hi Guys, Been reading through the M35 Exhaust threads but it all seems to revolve around the ready made catback systems. What I want to achieve is a twin exhaust, similar to the image in the link below but just from catback instead of full system due to budget. http://www.zees.co.jp/story/img/stagea_35/veldiss_09.jpg My issue is that there is stuff in the way on the RH side and I don't know what it is, what is does and if it can be moved? For sale is a Stainless Kakimoto Full Hyper Mega N1 Cat back exhaust, bought off a fellow Sau member and installed on the car for 2 weeks, selling due to the Stagea is used by the missus sometimes, and it's a bit too loud for her with the 3" dump and front pipes. $600 for Catback with silencer included. As seen in my build thread, I recently installed a side pipe exhaust to my GTR (as pictured) Does the car need a full retune due to the exhaust change? It's running a bit shit at the moment due to fouled plugs and the fact that it's been sitting in workshops for years but I wouldn't have thought it would need a full retune. Will the freer flowing exhaust start to lean out the engine? Could just a couple of power runs sort it out?

Hey guys, I just bought my R34 two days ago, it runs good and I love it. I noticed the previous owner had a APEXi ECV exhaust control valve fitted to the exhaust and control lever next to the hand break. I asked him about it and he said he hasn't connected it up. But the next day I looked under neath the car and saw it is connected but the butterfly valve isn't moving. That's not why I'm here though. I saw that the valve is located in the centre of the car's exhaust pipe. Normally they would be fitted at the end of the bore right? Have a look at the pics: From the other side (passenger side) My concern is if that butterfly valve were to close, the exhaust fumes have no were to go. Usually they fit these control valves onto the end of the aftermarket exhaust and have an extra hole behind the valve so when it closes the fumes are forced into that opening and will travel down the length of the muffler usually 3 times before it exits (so I've heard) and that makes the muffler silent. Does anyone about these things? Does that setup look right? I'm planning on making the valve work so it will be handy to use for when I'm starting my car at 5am in the morning so I don't wake everyone up in the neighborhood, or if a bored cop tries to follow me.

How long will a stainless steel Nismo Weldina Exhaust last for?

Hey, just wanting to know if any of you fellow V have any recommended exhaust fabricator for custom HFC and Y-Pipe for the 03 coupe. i went to a shop on slacks creek and they quoted me $900 for the cats alone and $160 for the Y-pipe. Is it really that expensive or am i just getting ripped? Thanks for you help.

Hi All, Im looking at changing my HFC and y-pipe with some aftermarket ones. I know the G35 and V35 are basically the same car but I just want to check that the exhausts are the same before I purchase some parts. Im looking at: - M2 2.5" Y Pipe (Based off the HR Design) (linky) - Kinetix HFC (http://www.autocarparts.com/part/1453/0/) Will this all bolt up to the rest of the exhaust? Also does anyone know a good place to have this done in Perth? Thanks guys!

Hi all, Having recently changed from a 2012 GTR to a 2014 Black Edition GTR, I found out the hard way that my Meisterschaft that was fitted on the 2012 was incompatible with the 2014. After some research, I decided to go for the IPE exhaust. Full system includes cat bypass pipe, y link, midpipe and valve control muffler. I must say, the exhaust note is excellent. Very loud with the valve open, comparatively sedate with the valve closed. A little bit of rasp and a little bit of drone, but nothing excessive. Additionally, you can use the valve control remote to set the system on "AUTO". This opens the valve when under heavy throttle and closes it at all other times. Overall I'm very happy and would highly recommend this exhaust to R35 owners. Feel free to ask any questions here or via PM. Cheers Ali

Hi, I'm looking to purchase an exhaust for my gtt. I've come across the hks high power and silent along with the blitz nur spec r. Does anyone know what exhaust is better sound wise and performance wise? Also do I need any sort of permit for this mod ? And if I open my boost controller so it'll be at 0 bar and have a control valve after the cat will my exhaust be under 90db? Will greatly appreciate any help

Hi everybody, Just got the new Evolution 90mm FI exhaust put on my car and I can highly recommend them to anyone interested in a valvetronic setup for their car. In off mode it was no different to the stock sound under normal driving, if you give if a bit it sounds throatier. There is no auto mode, only ON & OFF. When "ON" its a beast, very lambo like with a little crackle when blipping back down through the gears in manual mode. Customer service was good, answered all my questions and was helpful. Hey all, So I've got the option to upgrade my exhaust to something a little more 'special' at what I consider a fairly good price. My car is a 1996 S2 M-Spec R33 GTS-T. I have access to a HKS Hi-Power exhaust however, it's only listed for the BCNR33 RB26DETT. As far as I'm aware the system is only cat back. I've tried searching and I can't find a definitive answer so... The question is - Will a HKS Hi-power cat back exhaust listed for a BCNR33 RB26DETT fit my ECR33 RB25DET with no hassle ie - mounting points are the same etc.. I've read that the R32 GTS-T and R32GT-R's are interchangeable, is this this same with R33's?
