Hi Everyone, I have my 1998 R34 4 Door up for sale. I've owned this car since 2005. I purchased it from Sportscar Warehouse in Southport who imported it into Australia. It's been a great car. I've put in a stereo: * Alpine Head Unit * Alpine 6" coax rears * Boston Pro 60 6.5" split fronts * Coustic 4 channel Amp * Alpine 500W Monoblock Sub Amp * Alpine 12" Type R sub * All doors sound deadened with Dynamat Extreme The engine has remained stock except for some Yellow Jacket coil packs to fix the annoying Skyline coil pack issue. The car came with a turbo timer when I purchased it. I've recently had the car tinted. Less than 6 weeks old. I've only ever had 1 issue with the car and that was when I went to start it and it randomly wouldn't kick over. I got Lube Mobile out to take a look at it and they said the compression was wrecked and that the engine was ruined. There is a post around here about it somewhere questioning how it worked perfectly up until that point then all of a sudden wouldn't start. After the car sat in my front yard for 3 months waiting for me to work out what I was going to do with it, I replaced the now-flat battery and the car kicked over first go and never had any issues since. Turns out the ECU just needed to be reset. I've had a new car since April 2004 and I was going to do this car up into a weekend weapon, but now I'm buying a house and could use the money. I've kept it registered and insured (Just Car) up until now but registration lapsed in February. The car does need some things done for roadworthy: * L/H & R/H Tie Rod Ends Worn (Quoted $200) * Wheel Alignment * All tyres (I think these are borderline very borderline. Currently has Michelin Pilot Sport 3) (Quoted $132 each for cheapies) * Caster Bushes worn (Quoted $240) Price: $6,000 as is, unregistered. I'm happy to get the above items fixed and the car registered (12months from Feb) however price will be $8,000. I have also attached a carsales Car Facts report if you'd like to check it out. Good quality mods are fine in fact I would be more than happy to buy something that has been well modified. Also interested in looking interstate but need to appreciate that the car will need to pass an Identity inspection when I register it here and therefore cannot be defectable by SA law. Hi all, Just wanted to get your opinions on how strong a standard R34 GT-T RB25 gearbox is? Like: How much power can they take? What are their weaknesses? How are they at the racetrack? (Circuit, not drag racing) Any other info etc... Cheers guys! Glen

Hey guys just swapped my 09 Lancer for a R34 GT-T and I'm loving it! Recent problems that I have had in last 2 days, Rough Idle. Rough idle is on start up, when cold and when the A/C is first turned on. It will stall every now and then from these things but its not chugging it just lowers the revs right down and just stops and then starts up just fine again.. Misfiring? The car only does this down the low (1500rpm-2000rpm) and high (4500rpms-7000rpm) revs of the car, its just one or two misfires down low but when you hit full boost at 4000rpm the misfiring goes crazy at about 5500rpm and does not stop till the revs go back down.. Fuel Economy! So I'm driving not too fast doing the speed limits not excessively boosting or anything have it in 5th gear at 60kmp/h and I'm just reaching 300kms from a full tank! The guy I bought it off said he gets 450-500kms from a tank. When changing down gears the amount of fuel that you can hear being burnt is ridiculous! I love the sound but I rather drive the car for longer!! So mods that the car has: GT30/40 Turbo Adaptronic ECU (tuned) 3" Turbo Back Exhaust Air Intake Intercooler 12Psi 240rwkw Stock Injectors tho etc.. I've done some searching and there was one really good post on here but the links no longer work because it is too old, so if anyone could either direct me to a link or give me some info that would be great!! I have a feeling it's spark plugs or tune? Hope it's something small and not expensive $$$ Thanks everyone!

I have a Power FC to suit a ER34 R34 GT-T for sale. Item is still in the original box with all English Instructions, Serial Codes, etc. It comes with the Power FC Command hand control, the ECU unit which is Plug and Play. Replaces your original ECU. When it was fitted in my car, it was tuned to suit a FMIC, Turbo-back Exhaust (standard hi-flowed turbo though), Pod filter and abit more boost. I am seeking around $900 or the nearest offer. I am also selling the Apexi AVCR also still in the box. This is the updated black screen, white LCD display version. I am seeking around $600 or nearest offer. Lastly, there is a pair of carbonfibre mirror covers for sale. It's attached via 3M double sided tape which I have not used them to date. So they are still new. I'll consider any offers above $30. I'm selling a genuine ARC intercooler kit to suit an R34 GT-T. My R34 project has changed direction and I'm now going with a forward facing plenum, so sadly I will be selling this ARC unit. These are now discontinued and are quite rare. The intercooler is a very high quality Japanese made item and is very lightweight. I bought it new from Japan (Nengun) and it cost me well over $1k (could have been closer to $1,500 from memory). It is in very good condition, it still almost looks new! It would have only done about 3,000km's in the car from new before I took it off the road to begin my rebuild project (four years and counting...). The kit comes with everything needed to fit the intercooler to an R34 GT-T. It was very easy to fit and unlike some cheap kits everything lined up perfectly. From memory you just need to trim a bit of the inside of the reo bar and a little from the inside of the bumper bar. As it is turnflow unit, you don't need to cut any holes in the body for the piping and you don't have the pipes crossing back over inside the engine bay - it all looks very stock. The only thing I couldn't find was the ARC sticker with the classic bad Japanese-English message on it, but I have seen this somewhere recently. I will try and find it and if so will include it with the sale. It includes the original instruction manual, but its in Japanese. That being said the pictures are easy to follow. I'm looking for $525 for the complete kit, plus delivery (from Perth). Cheers Justin

The other day while driving down my street, a power pole jumped out in front me and hit my pride and joy ! She was smacked badly enough to ensure she never sees the street again, however luckily, nearly everything (including myself) came out of it with barely a scratch.
