Hi Guys and Gals, I am regrettably selling my 2001 Nissan M35 ARX-Four Stagea. I have owned this car since 2008, and imported the car from Japan myself. In this time its been nothing but reliable and a joy to own. The car has done 123,000km. I have since been given a work car, so the Stagea has to go to help pay for the house For those of you who don't know about the features of the M35 ARX-Four - The car has awesome power from the 2.5L V6 Turbo, and the ATTESA ET-S all wheel drive and rear wheel steering is fantastic through the corners and great off road as well. Inside, the car has full leather, auto headlights, heated and electric front seats, six stacker CD, climate control, rear view mirrors that dip when in reverse and fold shut when the car is locked. The rear seats fold fully flat from handles within the boot and creates a huge luggage bay. The car has done many country trips, and this is one of the areas the car excels. Its very comfortable on long distances and the powerful engine makes overtaking an ease. Storage is also impressive with a huge boot along with further storage in pockets and beneath the boot floor. Normally the ARX has black arches and guards, but I have had mine painted the body colour which in my opinion looks a lot better. The radio does not work as standard with Aus frequencies, but I have installed a frequency modifier which receives all the stations. Also included with this car are roof racks. There were no off the shelf roof rack kits that fit the NM35, so I have modified the brackets to take an X-Trail rack foot bolt pattern. These racks are easily removable in a few minutes. *The bike carriers shown in some photos are not included*. The car has recently had a full service, with all drive belts replaced, engine oil and filter, transmission oils and all diff oils, spark plugs, air filter and fuel filter. There is no timing belt to change in this car as it uses a timing chain. Also replaced recently are the brake pads and a full brake bleed. During my ownership I have also put on new front slotted rotors. The car has 245/50 R18 Khumo Ecsta KU31 tyres with 60% life left. I am asking $12,500 for it, but I am negotiable so feel free to make me a reasonable offer! Thanks, Brendan

So, I've had an interesting week or so. When my car was started from stone cold; it had no issues. I could drive to work, leave the car all day, then drive home again. If I stopped fill up, or go & do some shopping, then restarted the car; initially, it would randomly stall at idle, and throw a CEL code; P0100, which is the AFM. It did it once, then not again for several days. Reset code; no issues. If restarted, the car would drive normally. Progressively over a week or so, it would stall more regularly on a hot restart. Then t would throw the light immediately at hot start, and when you accelerated, it would get to 2200rpm, and start stuttering as if the AFM was disconnected. After a few minutes of driving it would behave as normal. I replaced a very dirty air filter, but no real change. Cleaned AFM; no change. It occurred to me, that on my Informeter; if the intake temp was above approx 35-40 deg; the problem would manifest, and it started doing the same thing if driven in traffic, and the Intake temp rose to the set level. Eventually, the CEL would not reset, but as long as the Intake temp was around ambient or below 35 deg, the car would drive perfectly. Replaced AFM with the spare I had from Scotty (for just such an occasion) reset CEL; issue hasn't reoccurred. Very strange. Can anyone with an Informeter tell me what their AFM reads when the engine is NOT started? Just with the key in the ON position? Mine is roughly 1.02v even before being started. Settles around 1.47-1.50 at idle. Cheers guys, hope this helps someone. I've never seen an AFM fail in such an unusual and random fashion.

Selling my Nissan Stagea M35 Axis. If you are after a good cheap reliable wagon, then this is the car for you. I've owned the car for about 3 1/2 years and in that time it has served me well. Year: 2002 Colour: White Rego: Nov 14 KM: 104,XXX kms Engine is stock The car is good condition outside and inside. Clean tan leather interior and non smoker. The rims are the only thing that aren't as good. They are factory rims but pretty scratched up. Looking for around $11,500 ONO. I am also open to trades for something smaller like a newish VW Golf or similar (main reason I´m selling the car is its just too big for a single guy living in the Inner West, just don´t need all that space).
