  1. Yo, chasing the following: R33 GTR FRONT BAR - Must be plastic with lip R33 Plastic side skirts R33 rear pods - wrap around style. Either plastic or fibre glass 0418 537 181 Located in Brisbane. peace pic for reference
  2. Looking for R33 GTR Factory catback exhaust in Melbourne. Needs to be in decent condition.
  3. R33 GTR - 1996 Series 2 100% of work, maintenance and modifications on this vehicle done by RACEPACE Motorsport. Selling the car due to a baby that has arrived this year, and boot is too small for prams, plus 2 door car and baby seat don’t mix well. Had the car for last 6 years, got it with 38,000kms on the clock, I have done 40,000kms on it driving it to work and back in traffic. Car never missed a beat or broke down. Not even a flat tyre. GTR was in storage between 2001 to 2007, as previous owner who imported it went overseas to work, and his contract kept getting extended. As soon I got the car I made sure there were no corners cut on it, and no expense spared. No rice or BS mods, just smart best modification to retain the car user friendly for daily use. I have many friends with GTRs since 1999, so I have had a lot of GTR knowledge to get it right first time. Plus I have been going to Racepace with my 240Z turbo since 2001 and learnt a lot about GTRs. I have just spent over $7K on the car. Had a major service at Racepace, where I was replacing standard Nissan gasket with a metal Tomei item, but once the head was off the motor I decided to refresh it to make sure it’s 100% when I sell it. $5.5K later… fully inspected motor, stripped and rebuilt head to latest Racepace specs (improved spool up), new clutch plate, all new gaskets, hoses, drive belts, clamps, Tomei metal head gasket, all fluids & oils changed. Also new brake rotors fitted (365mm x 34mm) a few months ago & new battery. The car was never circuit raced, as it was built as the ultimate daily GTR, that can be competitive on a track on the weekends. I have only taken it to Heathcote drag strip and DECA for a bit of fun. I didn’t want to circuit race it as I already have another car for that. At Heathcote on old Hancook tyres to be replaced, and old clutch that was starting to slip, 100% street trim, 34psi in tyres, it did 11.7 @ 124mph. Should be a bit faster on current tyres. When I took the GTR to DECA last year with Skylines Australia, it got the fastest lap of 5 tracks out of 6, where it was up against some more powerful cars, dedicated race cars and some exotics. This car has absolutely no squeaks or clanks. Suspension is firm but very pleasant, not bumpy at all. So much better than standard Tein RS coilovers which I had for 2 weeks. The exhaust is quiet enough not to attract attention, but sounds great on full throttle. No drone at all when cruising at all speeds. This car on the roll is faster than GTRs with extra 50+kw on it (with next size up turbos), as it spools so fast with the GT-SS turbos, it will jump 5 to 6 car lengths, then other more powerful GTRs will start pulling it in slowly at over 200km/h. This has been tested several times with friends on the roll in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. On dyno when I compared graph of my GTR GT-SS setup to other GTRs with -5 turbos or HKS 25/30difference in down low power wasn't huge as you get to preload the car on the rollers. However on the street you don’t get to preload the car and the difference really shows. Very fat power curve. Car starts producing boost from 2200RPM, pulls hard from 3000rpm to 8400rpm redline. Under the bonnet the car looks stock, therefore cops can’t pick on it. Car is in the best condition then ever, as I gave just spent $1.5K on body work, fixing the bumper, removing tiny dints etc. Car makes 335rwkw on 19psi on Racepace Dyno, pulp fuel. Please drive a few other GTRs before you drive this one to appreciate how good it is on the road in every respect. Once driven it will be hard to resist. Drives better than most R34 GTRs. Here are some of the things done to it. GEAR BOX · RACEPACE Motorsport rebuild gear box (old one had noisy bearing) · Single plate circuit Exedy HD clutch, organic & copper mix, extremely user friendly, especially for daily driving. Takes an edge off drivetrain strain. Custom rebuilt tail-shaft with bigger replaceable uni joints. SUSPENSION · TEIN RS Coilovers re-valved by Racepace, with custom springs setup for street. The most pleasant firm suspension for the street you can have in a GTR (worth $4500). · 2.5 degrees camber in front, 1.5 degrees in the rear. EXHAUST · Custom made by Racepace, 3.75 inch, with a bigger twin tips out the back muffler, appears stock-ish (worth $3500) · Exhaust has 2 Racepace custom mufflers & race spec catalectic convertor. · Exhaust is pretty quiet with a bit of angry bark on full throttle. As per video link. · It's tucked in nicely under the car, as you can hardly see it (legal ground clearance) INTERIOR · Nismo 320km/h dashboard · Interior is in immaculate condition, would be extremely hard to find another R33 GTR with such perfect interior. · Electric windows & Mirrors · Air Conditioning · JVC head unit with Divx, DVD, MP3 playback, USB, Bluetooth hands free, iPhone cradle · Speakers: JL splits in doors, JL 6.5" rear, using factory speakers spaces, Alpine 4 channel amp. · 8" SUB in an enclosure, build in amp, can be removed in less than a minute. WHEELS & TYRES · Volk CE28 19" x10.5" 12mm offset (worth $4500) · 19" x 275 x 30 Bridgestone Potenza RE11R tyres (180 tread wear) fastest 100% street legal tyres, as used by japs in street class races. (worth $2200) BRAKES · AP Racing 6 piston callipers (Front) · 365mm x 34mm rotors, 24 slots on alloy hats, new rotors. · Ferrodo DS-2500 break pads front & rear (great pads for street and race), also spare set of PAGET race pads (I never used them) · Brakes are worth about $6000 new. ENGINE · R34 GTR - RB26 Twin Turbo · FULLY BUILD by Racepace Motorsport · Racepace Custom FORGED PISTONS & RING set · New OEM R34 GTR Crankshaft, rotating assembly fully balanced · Racepace custom main and big end bearings. · Fully blueprinted, block painted and precision assembly · Con-rods resized, bushes replaced and individually honed to suit piston pins. · New Nismo thermostat, New OEM Nissan gasket kit · Nissan N1 Oil Pump (Modified), Nissan N1 water pump. · Con-rods resized, bushes replaced and individually honed to suit piston pins. · Oil galleries modified, tap galleries, fit threaded plugs, modify water galleries, new welsh plugs. · Block bored and honed (strainer plate), decked to correct compression height, crank tunnel line honed to RPM specs.   4. Almost completely standard R33 GTR VSPEC. The only modifications are: Garrett 2860-7 Turbos (R34 GTR N1 Spec) - Only fitted to remove the risk of standard ceramic turbo causing engine issues. X-FORCE Stainless dumps - Came with Turbos 17inch BBS LM Wheels (new tyres) - 3 piece Everything including exhaust is standard. My plan was to keep the car standard and it took me a long time to find an unmolested example but I am now heading in a different direction so the car has to go. I had bought this car to occasionally take to a track day but after doing more research am concerned the rb26 is not the right engine for this so have kept it in my garage. Car has recently been on the dyno and has had a compression test: 1 - 165 2 - 170 3 - 165 4- 172 5 - 170 6 - 170 Has new spark plugs and recent injector service with timing belt etc major service completed. There is the typical sill crush on the drivers side (I had the passenger side fixed) and at some stage the rear quarter panel has been replaced. However the body shop (I can provide contact) checked that all the structural welds are original and the underbody is in surprisingly good shape compared to most I have seen.   6. Looking for an unmodified, completely standard R33 GTR ? Look no further! Regretful sale due to unforeseen financial expenses. Imported May last year, the only non-standard part of the car is the original gram light wheels, which were on the car when I picked it up (can prove these are real gram lights if need be), Other than that, complete stocker, I even still have the standard radio which is set to Japanese frequencies. Hasn't been installed since purchase so it's in excellent condition. I just never got around to installing it. Inspection welcome.   16. I recently bought a Do-Luck Ignition Harness Kit with Direct Battery Feed for a 1995 R33 GTR, It came with instructions but in japanese. I'm having trouble on where to connect some of the wires. In the photo above, The greenline is what I know should go together but the white lines I'm not sure where to connect them to. Above is the Direct Battery Feed Cables I think I need to connect these's cables from the fusebox back to the coil pack earth point but not sure? Note the cables are only about 1m long. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  17. I hope someone can help with this. Location: Japan Car Info: I recently got new wheels went up to 18x9.5J+15 from 17x9.5J+20. Wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 evo2's. I had to use spacers in the front to get the wheels to clear the Calipers as well as get extended Wheel Studs. wheels were balanced by a dealer Issue: When i got the wheels on I noticed i had a slight wobble in the steering wheel around 60KPH. So i went in and had the Tires balanced once again, which alleviated the the wobble at 60KPH but shows back up if i hit a hard bump or get up to +80KPH where its sometimes fine. But at 100KPH its a bad "wobble" in the steering wheel. I took the car to a local tire dealer and they said they could not duplicate the issue ( Which i think is BS) I've searched google and forums with no avail. Could this be a Alignment Issue? or suspension issue?? any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you

  20. Hello all, I have a 1995 R33 GTR and I recently completed an LS2 coil swap on the car. It ran great until recently, when I started noticing a slight shudder and rougher idle. Thought it was a MAF issue so I cleaned them up, and resoldered them. I also decided to clean up the plugs and to my surprise, found that plug no. 5 was completely black, and oily. Now I dont know if this is a sign of a blown cylinder or low compression, but I decided to swap out coil no. 5 and changed the coil wire, but no change. I am at my wit's end, trying to figure out what is wrong with that cylinder and would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on what to do here. I live in a remote town in Canada, and do not have access to most things people do in larger towns, so have to depend on myself to carry out any tests or check things. This has gotten worse over the last 2-3 days, as I drove the car on a 200 mile trip, which was great until I got back home and it started to show signs of running stupid rich while cruising and lean when boosting. I have checked the coils, the wires and the plugs are all good. When I disconnect the coil wires no. 5, there is a very very minor change in the revs if at all. I can hear the coil ticking and the spark is there. If the injector wasnt firing, would it foul up the plug with black oily stuff? How do I check without the car running if the spark is strong enough? Could it be faulty injector or a weak spark? Is it also possible that cylinder 5 has lost compression? Please help me Thank you.
  21. Guys, Im not sure what's going on here. I keep getting torque sent to the front even at the slightest throttle kick. My car had been running sweet up until a 2-3 months ago with it getting worse and worse. At first it'll keep sending front torque, until you take your foot off the accelerator and then it will correct itself. Cruising at 80 kph it is sitting at about 10 or so. Hard throttlle itll go to 40. Mind you this is constant. What could be causing these issues? The car has become really shit to drive. I do have a sliiping clutch ATM could this have anything to do with this problem? For example if i am hardshifting 2nd to 3rd it will slip and cause the front torque to fly up to 35 - 40 ish.   22. Hey Guys, Have recently bought this (http://www.rhdjapan.com/apex-i-super-suction-kit-80mm-maf-rb26dett-skyline-gt-r-60776) Apexi Kit to put on my '96 GT-R but I didn't order MAF's. Can I just put on standard Z32 MAF's (part number is 22680-30P00 A36000N62) and if I do, do I need to change anything to do with my ECU, fuel mapping etc. because I've changed from AF's to MAF'S? Also, my mechanic says that even if these weren't an issue, the piping + pods still won't fit in, would this be due to the turbo box or have the company sent me the wrong piping? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Cheers
  23. I'm going to services my GTR this weekend, but was wondering how much extra oil do you need if you've got an oil cooler? I've got a HKS oil cooler, i'm guessing it will need an extra litre or so of oil right? So probably 6 litres?

  25. I am looking for a tuning map for a R33 GTR running a Apexi Power FC. Will be using a laptop for the tunning. My GTR has had the following installed: Garret 2860-7 with HKS Actuators 9:1 CP Pistons 4 inch exaust from the Cat Its running stock injectors, fuel pump ect. I am just looking for a map that has the correct details to work from, obviously every car is different and needs fine tuning. I have searched SAU and while there are some great tips (Looking at you Paul), I haven't found any actual map files. Any help would be appriciated.
