Ok guys I really need your help. Im sitting here covered in fuel thinking I had a dead/dieing fuel pump. I just spent 200 on a new one, but this didnt fix my problem. I think my coils have given up the go. What happen is when I started it today I went for a small drive (hitting boost) as you do and it was fine, I was going to the Beenleigh pet store. Next thing I know I put my foot down, not hard but normal and she just bogged down, lost power then came back lost then back all the way down to a roundabout where I turned to head back home. Stilling at the lights it was running like shit and when you put the pedal down without being in gear it felt like it was running on 1 cylinder and could smell fuel. After I got past the lights and got upto the Pasific hwy after about 80kph it was fine again and didnt play up till I got it home in cornubia, now ive got a darkish small amount of smoke from my exhaust and as she sits right now she isnt liking idle. Would anyone have some coils they are not useing if possible to see if it is the coils or has anyone had or seen this issue before? I am a 3rd year Mechanic so I do have some brains but this has me f**ked now. all lines are good? The only other thing is my coils have been tapped up by the owner before me so I put a small amount of rape tape over it to make sure no spark was getting lost to the side walls

hi, selling my spare RB25DET series 2 engine ( long motor ) out of a R33 turbo auto Unsure of KM's ( item has 100'000km Japanese timing belt replacement sticker on the front timing belt cover ) I have had the tapper covers off to inspect the head, and it is really clean, no burnt oil. engine came with a compression reading of 98 across 1 - 6 ( I am assuming it was a dry compression reading due to the low reading, but seeing as the compression is even across each cylinder, good indication of a healthy motor ) engine has loom, but is not complete, no afm, no ecu, engine does not have turbo set up. alternator, or ac pump. Hi selling a gearbox I bought for a spare. From an RB25det R33 GTST with about 90 000kms doesn't come with gear stick or clutch cylinder but does come with x-member asking $850 ono 0439070291

WTS. Got a rb25det series 2 judging by the exhaust cam gear were the sensor goes in. New gates racing timing belt and pulleys. New water pump. New thermostat. New cam seals, crank seals. Sump resealed and painted. Block painted. New rocker cover gasket kit fitted. Rocker covers painted. China FFP and 80mm tb. Top feed fuel rail. Also got a 25 gearbox to go with it. Need to sell for funds for workshop. Looking to get rid of them as a package deal $2800ono will make it cheaper if I install it at my workshop with a cheap labour rate.
