  1. Hey guys. New here. US resident, living in Florida. I'm taking delivery of my 89 R32 GTR next week. It's reported as being "bone stock" and visually appears to be so in pictures (and by report of the importer), but the service records are scarce. I haven't seen the car in person yet. It has 120,000 km on it. I'm planning out my rebuild, and want to know if there is anyway externally for me to know if any parts have actually been replaced. I'd hate to order a new oil pump (or really any bottom end stuff) only to find out when I pull the engine that it already has an N1 pump, etc. I'm sure the most obvious answer is going to be to not order parts until I pull the motor, but it's going to be my daily driver and I can't really pull the motor with no parts and then order everything after its apart. Plus, I can't really afford the cost of pulling a motor just to put it right back in. Thanks for any input. TL;DR: my car is reportedly stock...is there any way to know if oil pump or other parts were actually replaced, before pulling motor?

  4. hey guys, Ive had my R32 GTR for a few years now and havent upgraded anything its fairly stock from when i bought it of the previous owner. I was just wondering what some of the first upgrades i should be looking at getting for my car. i still want it to be roadworthy and everything i was thinking of making it to 300-400kw nothing to fast. im willing to put money into my girl for better profrmance and feel and just all round better value but nothing that over the top for what i want to do with it.

  11. For sale is my dual Blitz BOV kit for an RB26DETT. Purchased this for my R32 GTR but never had the chance to install it. Car is now up for sale so just looking to make my money back.   12. I have a few parts left over from my parting out my car. All parts are 40 minutes south of Melbourne. Everything came off a running car. $3000 RB26DETT engine which I only put 10,000kms of in the whole time I owned my car. It has only been run at 280rwkw on standard injectors. Made 300rwkw on the dyno at 100% duty cycle but I wanted to keep a safety margin. I imported it with N1 pistons which has been confirmed after I removed the sump recently. All bores look good. It alway had good oil pressure. I have attached pictures confirming the N1 pistons. I couldn't tell you which model crank or oil pump. It was an extremely smooth engine. I have the turbo manifolds, dumps and new gaskets in a box. Comes with everything pictured. Also comes with coil pack cover. Sump was cleaned while it was removed. Custom fan. I never had any overheating issues and increases power. May sell the rocker/coil pack and cam cover, sump, coil packs $450, complete inlet and everything attached to it ?? seperately if the engine doens't sell as a complete unit soon. I know most people will only be buying it to replace a blown engine anyway hence already have all of these parts. $1500 OS GIken full face solid centre triple plate clutch. 80-90% meat on clutch packs and no hot spots on the drive plates. It is very drivable as I've driven on it in city traffic etc. These are rated to 1000hp. One of the try perfomance clutches out there today. Worth $3000 new. $650 324mm brake upgrade. UAS adapters. For anybody about to venture into the world of a rebuild, turbo change, intercooler change, or a general increase in power would benefit from understanding it's not just about whacking a bigger turbo on, or winding the boost up!   17. Rb26dett engine from a r33 Gtr vspec, motor has done approximently 10,000kms since build. I have pictures of recent cold/dry compression test and can send or show to serious buyers only. **Can fit and install for extra by mechanic locally on the Gold Coast pm for details** Compression 160-165psi across the board Bottom end R33 Gtr crank Genuine N1 block (24U) 20 Thou Cp pistons and rings Eagle rods with arp rod bolts Arp mains Arp head studs Greddy oil pump N1 water pump Tomei oil restrictor ATI Harmonic balancer Gates timing belt, tensioner and pulley all replaced in build. Engine has been rebuilt, blueprinted, machined for 20 thou pistons and rotating assembly balanced. Block had been decked with all new welsh plugs. Top end Tomei Poncams 260deg 9.15 lift in and ex Greddy cam gears Timing Cover has been polished 1.2mm Tomei metal head gasket Brand new rocker cover seals and half moon seals Painted r34 Gtr red covers and plenum Head has had a full recondition with all new retainers replaced on both sides, valve regrind and lifters serviced.   21. As in title a HKS F-Con V Silver for R32 R33 RB26 motors (may be ok for R34 but not 100% sure) Comes with wiring adapter harness and map sensor as per pictures below. Off a GTR with full T88 kit so very capable ECU but unfortunately no one in Perth can tune any more as our HKS dealer has gone under. Looking for $700 for everything. PM me on here or SMS 0422426866
  22. (yes this is also listed in the Stagea section, if i have to downsize to one thread leave this one here please ) For sale i have a custom high mount twin turbo setup off an R32 GTR. Basically everything you need here to change from low mount to high mount (bar a couple of dash fittings for the block) In this kit you will get: 2x Garrett 2860 -7 turbos (NOTE: please read at the bottom regarding turbo condition) 2x steampipe manifolds made by Garage 7 - T2 flange 2x custom 2.5" dump pipes with 5 bolt flanges (where they combine into one, they become a 3.5" pipe with a 3 bolt flange) 2x custom intake pipes with Drift brand air filters (these pipes can be trimmed shorter to fit AFMs) All custom braided oil feed / drain and coolant feed / return lines (see note at bottom also regarding extra fittings) Custom Y pipe to meet up with factory rubber intercooler pipe joiner (obviously to suit R32 engine bay) Vaccum hose for both actuators (with heat shield sleeving) Oil feeds are -6 Coolant feed / return are -8 Oil drains are -10 (teflon braid used for these) This setup made 355rwkw / 500nm on 20psi, and had a lot better midrange compared to stock low mount manifolds. Has a unique sound too From the stock setup, you will need to add / modify the BOV recirculation (i have removed my factory BOV pipework, it just needs a pipe teed into the y pipe before the joiner) or remove it all You will also need to relocate the power steering resevoir to allow clearance for the rear intake pipe (i was easily able to move it to the bracket that held the carbon canister on the radiator support panel between the radiator and the back of the LH headlight). Small piece of hard line "bundy tube" and the job is done Regarding fittings: You will require a few Speedflow/Powerflow/Aeroflow style "dash" fittings to complete the job, i still require the ones that arent supplied. One picture Regarding turbo condition: The rear turbo (the one pictured with the longer hot pipe snout) has had a bearing failure. Has been quickly checked and will require a rebuild. I would get the other checked at the same time just for piece of mind Basically whats pictured is what you get. Its a unique look, and needs a good home. Ive decided to go down a single turbo path on my 26, so no longer can use any of this gear. All of the stuff was made up last year, and the car has been driven next to nothing in that time Im looking for $1750 for the whole kit, but i am negotiable too.   23. To start this off, this is my very first import car that I have ever owned. My last car was a 2000 Trans AM. I recently got stationed in Tokyo, Japan and will be here for the next 3 years. I've been doing (trying) tons of research on this car. Not sure where to start, everything I find usually has to deal with the car being a track car. This car WILL NEVER see a day at the track. My main goal is 330-350wkw. I know the 100,000km maintance just around the corner(99,000km currently). It's currently my DD but will not be in about 3 years when I get orders back to the states. What should I have put in when I have that maintenance done(after market)? I guess the main question is, Where do I start? If someone could easily link me to a build or help me figure out what would get me to that point. (I have included a picture of my car).

I will be advertising this in the main section as well, but i had it on good word to poke my head in here and advertise as well (for you 260RS nuts) For sale i have a custom high mount twin turbo setup off an R32 GTR. Basically everything you need here to change from low mount to high mount (bar a couple of dash fittings for the block) In this kit you will get: 2x Garrett 2860 -7 turbos (NOTE: please read at the bottom regarding turbo condition) 2x steampipe manifolds made by Garage 7 - T2 flange 2x custom 2.5" dump pipes with 5 bolt flanges (where they combine into one, they become a 3.5" pipe with a 3 bolt flange) 2x custom intake pipes with Drift brand air filters (these pipes can be trimmed shorter to fit AFMs) All custom braided oil feed / drain and coolant feed / return lines (see note at bottom also regarding extra fittings) Custom Y pipe to meet up with factory rubber intercooler pipe joiner (obviously to suit R32 engine bay) Vaccum hose for both actuators (with heat shield sleeving) Oil feeds are -6 Coolant feed / return are -8 Oil drains are -10 (teflon braid used for these) This setup made 355rwkw / 500nm on 20psi, and had a lot better midrange compared to stock low mount manifolds. Has a unique sound too From the stock setup, you will need to add / modify the BOV recirculation (i have removed my factory BOV pipework, it just needs a pipe teed into the y pipe before the joiner) or remove it all You will also need to relocate the power steering resevoir to allow clearance for the rear intake pipe (i was easily able to move it to the bracket that held the carbon canister on the radiator support panel between the radiator and the back of the LH headlight). Small piece of hard line "bundy tube" and the job is done Regarding fittings: You will require a few Speedflow/Powerflow/Aeroflow style "dash" fittings to complete the job, i still require the ones that arent supplied. One picture Regarding turbo condition: The rear turbo (the one pictured with the longer hot pipe snout) has had a bearing failure. Has been quickly checked and will require a rebuild. I would get the other checked at the same time just for piece of mind Basically whats pictured is what you get. Its a unique look, and needs a good home. Ive decided to go down a single turbo path on my 26, so no longer can use any of this gear. All of the stuff was made up last year, and the car has been driven next to nothing in that time Im looking for $1750 for the whole kit, but i am negotiable too.
