I will be advertising this in the main section as well, but i had it on good word to poke my head in here and advertise as well (for you 260RS nuts) For sale i have a custom high mount twin turbo setup off an R32 GTR. Basically everything you need here to change from low mount to high mount (bar a couple of dash fittings for the block) In this kit you will get: 2x Garrett 2860 -7 turbos (NOTE: please read at the bottom regarding turbo condition) 2x steampipe manifolds made by Garage 7 - T2 flange 2x custom 2.5" dump pipes with 5 bolt flanges (where they combine into one, they become a 3.5" pipe with a 3 bolt flange) 2x custom intake pipes with Drift brand air filters (these pipes can be trimmed shorter to fit AFMs) All custom braided oil feed / drain and coolant feed / return lines (see note at bottom also regarding extra fittings) Custom Y pipe to meet up with factory rubber intercooler pipe joiner (obviously to suit R32 engine bay) Vaccum hose for both actuators (with heat shield sleeving) Oil feeds are -6 Coolant feed / return are -8 Oil drains are -10 (teflon braid used for these) This setup made 355rwkw / 500nm on 20psi, and had a lot better midrange compared to stock low mount manifolds. Has a unique sound too From the stock setup, you will need to add / modify the BOV recirculation (i have removed my factory BOV pipework, it just needs a pipe teed into the y pipe before the joiner) or remove it all You will also need to relocate the power steering resevoir to allow clearance for the rear intake pipe (i was easily able to move it to the bracket that held the carbon canister on the radiator support panel between the radiator and the back of the LH headlight). Small piece of hard line "bundy tube" and the job is done Regarding fittings: You will require a few Speedflow/Powerflow/Aeroflow style "dash" fittings to complete the job, i still require the ones that arent supplied. One picture Regarding turbo condition: The rear turbo (the one pictured with the longer hot pipe snout) has had a bearing failure. Has been quickly checked and will require a rebuild. I would get the other checked at the same time just for piece of mind Basically whats pictured is what you get. Its a unique look, and needs a good home. Ive decided to go down a single turbo path on my 26, so no longer can use any of this gear. All of the stuff was made up last year, and the car has been driven next to nothing in that time Im looking for $1750 for the whole kit, but i am negotiable too.   9. Hey guys. New here. US resident, living in Florida. I'm taking delivery of my 89 R32 GTR next week. It's reported as being "bone stock" and visually appears to be so in pictures (and by report of the importer), but the service records are scarce. I haven't seen the car in person yet. It has 120,000 km on it. I'm planning out my rebuild, and want to know if there is anyway externally for me to know if any parts have actually been replaced. I'd hate to order a new oil pump (or really any bottom end stuff) only to find out when I pull the engine that it already has an N1 pump, etc. I'm sure the most obvious answer is going to be to not order parts until I pull the motor, but it's going to be my daily driver and I can't really pull the motor with no parts and then order everything after its apart. Plus, I can't really afford the cost of pulling a motor just to put it right back in. Thanks for any input. TL;DR: my car is reportedly stock...is there any way to know if oil pump or other parts were actually replaced, before pulling motor?
  10. Hello everyone, I ran a search and couldnt really come up with any deffinitive answers. I figured I'd start a post here to see if anyone had any advice and I will be updating with remedial actions. I'll start off with the car specs and then run you through the situation. 1992 BNR32 GTR, 108,000 km on stock RB26DETT Mods include: Power FC, HKS pod filters, Koyo radiatior, HKS intercooler with hard pipes, ORC twin plate clutch. The other day i took my car past 6000 rpms for the first time and the cat temp light flashed rapidly. after some research i learned that the powerfc will flash the cat temp light when there is a red flag for multiple reasons. One of them being engine knock. I changed the display on my powerfc to display engine knock and found some disturbing results. At start up, the fc will read a high of 30 knock. After start up ill clear the display and at idle it will show knock between 1-8. normal diriving up to 3500 will show 8-15. 4500 will show 20-25. at 6000 it will show 61. My power fc is set flash the cat temp light at 60 nock so that would explain why it was flashig. From my research I've learned that the Powerfc is not the most accurate device in displaying knock, and should only be used to give a general idea. I guess all im asking is what do you all think of this? How concerned should i be? I would rather have ZERO knock lol. This weekend I will be compression testing the engine to get a better idea of where i stand. Hopefully the results wont be to bad. As long as its not to bad (155-175 psi on all cylinders) i plan to baby the car for the next two years and save $ for a new engine. Any thoughts or advice is welcome. Thanks guys, -Eric

  12. To start this off, this is my very first import car that I have ever owned. My last car was a 2000 Trans AM. I recently got stationed in Tokyo, Japan and will be here for the next 3 years. I've been doing (trying) tons of research on this car. Not sure where to start, everything I find usually has to deal with the car being a track car. This car WILL NEVER see a day at the track. My main goal is 330-350wkw. I know the 100,000km maintance just around the corner(99,000km currently). It's currently my DD but will not be in about 3 years when I get orders back to the states. What should I have put in when I have that maintenance done(after market)? I guess the main question is, Where do I start? If someone could easily link me to a build or help me figure out what would get me to that point. (I have included a picture of my car).
  13. Hey my fellow SAU'ers I am having an IDLE problem with my Stagea 260RS S1 that has RB26DETT on it. The idle goes up and down and not stable between 1500rpm down to 200rpm and sometimes stalls especially when called. We have checked the AAC valve.. and cleaned it aswell. I have read somewhere that TPS can be another issues and need to check the voltage, I have a datascan but I dunno what values i should be looking at. We have tried swapping Air Flow Meters with my mates RB26 R34 which doesnt have any idle issue and plug it in to my Rb26 and it still doing the same behaviour. But what myself and my mate notice is, when we pull out the plug out of the water temp sensor that goes to the ECU and the idle started to be stable around 800-1000rpm range.. But ones plug back in.. the idle goes up and down again. We have tried swapping the water temp sensor with the R34 one, idle still the same, going up and down.. but we notice the part number is different on this RB26 water temp sensor compare to mine. Is there anyone can give me information and point me to the right direction what else should I test and check? Would be much appreciated!! Cheers Sau'ers

  15. hey guys, Ive had my R32 GTR for a few years now and havent upgraded anything its fairly stock from when i bought it of the previous owner. I was just wondering what some of the first upgrades i should be looking at getting for my car. i still want it to be roadworthy and everything i was thinking of making it to 300-400kw nothing to fast. im willing to put money into my girl for better profrmance and feel and just all round better value but nothing that over the top for what i want to do with it.
  16. As in title a HKS F-Con V Silver for R32 R33 RB26 motors (may be ok for R34 but not 100% sure) Comes with wiring adapter harness and map sensor as per pictures below. Off a GTR with full T88 kit so very capable ECU but unfortunately no one in Perth can tune any more as our HKS dealer has gone under. Looking for $700 for everything. PM me on here or SMS 0422426866
  17. Hi all, I have for sale my RB26DETT engine setup out of my late model Series 3 R33 GTR. This engine is in excellent condition and in stock standard trim, right down to stock turbo's, dump pipes and injectors. To give you some background, I purchased my GTR as a Grade 4.5 with 84,000 Km's from Japan in late 2009 after an extensive search for the right car, and with the exception of a cat back exhaust and Power FC, the the engine was and remains standard. Once the car arrived it was given a full 100k service including new Timing Belt, Water Pump. full fluid flush, plugs, then a compression test which revealed perfect results across all 6 cylinders, and finally a dyno tune for safety which was performed at one of Sydney's premier GTR building workshops. The car has been used only very sparingly since coming into the country as plans for a build were put in place almost immediately, and has now covered only 87,000's The engine has been religiously serviced, or rather pedantically over-serviced at my request by Just Jap Racing in Sydney using only the best Motul lubricants and fluids. The reason for sale is I have been slowly building up a complete brand new engine from scratch which is now ready to drop in, and as such the current engine setup needs a new home. As I mentioned, I am selling the engine in assembled long form including the following: - Complete Long Engine (Head covers to sump) - Intake & Exhaust side (Stock Plenum, Injectors, Fuel Rail, Turbos & Dumps) - Stock Radiator (If Required) The engine is currently still in my car, and is due to come out by the end of this month. Interested buyers can see, hear and experience the engine running before it is removed. I am located in Sydney, and the engine will be avaialble for pickup, or alternatively, I can arrange to have it freighted anywhere in Australia at the buyers expense.   18. Sold the car and I've got this stuff I need to move on so its going on here. The OEM parts are from 1993 R32 GTR with 120,000km 1. S15 Silvia/200SX pair Rear RDA slotted rotors with metal backing plates (thickness unsure) FREE 2. 4x S15 Silvia/200SX Rear brake calipers 3 of them are leaking and have been disassembled 1 of them still operating fine. Have 3 used Nissan brake pads to go with them and also have handbrake cables attached $20 the whole lot. Picture is of the 1 remaining caliper that operates fine. 3. Endless MX72 rear brake pads for all Silvias S13/S14/S15 brand new in box $250 4. R32 GTR HICAS pump. HICAS was working fine when it was removed form the car. $10 5. R32 GTR RB26DETT OEM Fuel injectors x6 were leaking fuel due to perished O-rings. New O-rings and a professional clean and test and should be good to go. $100 6. R32 GTR OEM Fuel pump. Little bit of corrosion on the surface. Worked fine when removed from car. $10 7. R32 GTR RB26DETT OEM Ceramic exhaust wheel pair of turbochargers . Worked fine when removed from car. No shaft play and very smooth. $100 8. 350mm Deep dish suede steering wheels x2. Came with my HKB boss kit that I purchased. One steering wheel has horn button other one doesn't have horn button. These steering wheels will bolt up to the same pattern as Nardi wheels. I bought a Nardi wheel to use with the boss kit so no use for these wheels. $10 if you want the horn button. $5 without horn button. 9. Old school Tomei remapped ECU for R32 GTR RB26DETT. Suitable for cars running standard injectors and AFMs. Worked fine when removed from car. Everything runs just like OEM except engine revs out smoother. Cheap and tidy way to remove 180km/h speed cut from your R32 GTR $80 10. HKS Hipermax IV GT Coilovers. Bought brand new from Japan via Jesse Streeter earlier this year only used for about 4 months and 4000km before car got sold. Complete set including cable ties, C-spanners, certificates and instructions. 7kg Front & Rear spring rates. Excellent balance of handling and ride comfort for road use. Guaranteed working 100% genuine Japanese quality. $1200 11. Professionally welded up R32 GTR Rear HICAS steering rack. Cheap and effective way to lock out HICAS without resorting to buying a dodgy HICAS lock bar. $50 12. Nismo R32 GTR steering rack bush/mount kit. Brand new in bag never installed $50 13. R32 GTR RB26DETT OEM air box including air filter. $150 14. Brand new Genuine Nissan Oil filter 15208-H890C suits R32 GTR RB26DETT and anything else that accepts the same filter. $15 15. Ryco Z387 fuel filter to suit R32 GTR RB26DETT. Used for about 1500kms. FREE 16. R32 GTR RB26DETT OEM Radiator. No leaks. Doesn't come with radiator cap. $70 17. Nismo high pressure radiator cap. Bought brand new and used for about 4 months. $25 18. Apexi RSM Blue version. Unwanted extra given with other purchase. Was assured that it works from previous owner. $50 19. Genuine made in Germany BBS RS RS261. 17x9 +20 offset with centre bores made to 66.1mm to suit Nissan hubs so no hub rings required. Includes centre caps. Contisport3 tyres 225/45/17. 2 completely bald and 2 with minimal tread left. Light gutter rash on some of the wheels. Not sure what these are worth since they are quite rare. $1800 or reasonable offer 20. Intima SR low dust rear brake pads to suit Silvias S13/14/15. Used for about 3 months estimate 85% meat left. $50 Contact via PM. Pickup in Sydney Metro area. Free items are pickup only. May post at buyer's expense.
  19. Due to parting out my car this engine is for sale seperately. Engine will be removed tomorrow or during the week. It comes with HKS Forged pistons. This will be confirmed when the sump is removed for inspection. They are definently not standard as they don't have 5mm ish round raised circle on them when viewed though the spark plug hole. I imported the car with this engine in it. The spec sheet mentioned HKS pistons. This can be believed as everything else listed replicated what was on the car. Engine has never had larger injectors fitted therefore has never exceeded 300rwkw. Everyone knows these engine will last forever when run under 300rwkw and boosted around 15psi with a good tune. I drove it with 280rwkw just to be safe as engine rebuilds are the nemesis of GTR owners. I cannot confirm yet if it has a N1 oil pump or R33 crank. It may even be an R33 GTR motor? Rods are also unknown? Never saw the oil light flash or gauge drop due to surge. Cams are standard and fitted with adjustable cam gears fitted. Engine has never been overheated in my ownership. Rocker covers and cam cover have been painted in 2 pack metallic silver. All electronics/accesories attached to the engine will be included. -5 turbos have limited km's with adjustable actuators. Willing to sell these seperately. With these turbos I drove it for a year. After that the car spent a year EPA'd noise (was cleared) and then driven a few times the following year. Last 2 years it has been de-reg'd just sitting in my shed. Started occasionally. Front diff/sump included. If bought in the next few weeks with the turbos I'll throw in some custom made 3 inch dumps plus twin 3 inch front pipes merged to 3.5 inch pipe with 3 inch flange. Happy to do a comp or leakdown test after removal. Sold the gearbox before I had a chance to check it. Need to sell these. I don't want them taking up space! Pictures will be added during the week not that what an engine looks like matters. Its the condition inside that counts! $5000ono for engine and turbos. Can supply everything needed to do a GTSt conversion for a few extra dollars. I've done the conversion before. Also have a OS Giken Triple plate clutch in great condition. Prob 90% meat left $1500 - These are $3000 new and never ever thought of slipping. Located in southern suburbs of Melbourne. Happy to feight but please organise you own prices.
