Hey all just looking for any insights and ideas for My 33 easy upgrades etc Also looking to find some end caps to suit 33 GTR style rear wing Cheers, any help would be much appreciated

So I am a proud owner of a 1990 Nissan R32 GTS4T 4 door RB20DET Auto just under 115,000kms and it has had the 100,000km service completed only couple of months ago (love manual but I needed a 4 door and this was the only one available that was also Turbo, the auto in this config is better than the manual imo as no loss of boost going through gears but sucks at take off but I can get it to drift, though to continue to link up drifts really need to power on and swing the car side to side to keep it loose and shift between 1st and second and ride that boost, really driving the car hard to drift a 4wd and would benefit from an increase in PSI). It has been looked over by the RWC mechanic and Pedders, somethings were found by both but Pedders found a few more. They really are the suspension specialists. So I need the following parts to complete RWC and just to bring the car to a good mechanically sound level. The links are just what I have found on ebay and am open to advise and other products. Front upper control arms with new bushes fitted was considering a pair of these http://cgi.ebay.com....#ht_3816wt_1163 I have been quoted $150 for a reconditioned pair of stock ones. These are the dimensions, are they suitable for the GTS4T? I thought $160 for pair shipping included wasn't bad. Don't want to pull off stock ones to check dimensions if I don't have too as I still need the car to get around in. Inner and Outer CV boots are worn and the grease is all gone and the joints have been damaged so are clicking I have been advise to change the complete CV shaft left and right. So both left and right front CV shafts, joints and boots required. Are these what I need? Rear tie rod end bushes (They look like a knuckle setup, they are the ones out at the wheel you can see it from looking under and behind the wheels) I will take some pictures and post. All discs need machining due to being worn, rusty & glazed but I have been told these are lipped and cannot be machined so looking to upgrade to a slotted vented pair thinking rears can stay stock style but need new discs. Left hand front shock very firm near seized both front shockers advised to be changed. What is a good value for money pair? Left hand top shock mount requires replacing due to shock failure it has been taking the brunt of the absorption, should I change left and right or just the left damaged one is ok? If just left I am looking for stock one if both I saw these http://www.ebay.com....a#ht_500wt_1180 Front D Bushes worn need replacement (sway bar mount bushes) is this a set that will fix this? http://www.ebay.com....4#ht_1679wt_960 Light play in steering rack it PASSED for Pedders and RWC mechanic but they said should be looked at in the next 6 months, I think it is fine but wondering what a reco one will cost and is a 2WD rack different to a 4WD rack? I need a Left dash heater air vent The CENTER GEAR CONSOLE SURROUND is cracked,pitted,melted by cigarette burn and chipped so was looking at this, seems pricey though, but the ad mentions more durable than stock one. http://www.ebay.com....#ht_1514wt_1163 Hoses behind radiator, in front of motor (oil cooler pipes) need new clamps. Hoses are slightly perished but not the cause of leaking it is the clamps that are at fault for leaking but they recommend changing hoses and clamps at same time and advised only need less than 1.5mtr of hosing to do, what is the dimension of the pipe that is required? I can pick up a length from super cheap unless there is a highly recommended alternative product. Rear under side has a little surface rust and they recommend treating it with fish oil anyone concur? Driving a S1 RSfour c34 and looking to increase boost. bought a gauge,boost controller, BOV. havnt yet installed them since im trying to find time to do it and havnt tested boost pressure yet but does anyone have any tips for how much of an increase i should set without stuffing the engine too much. would like to hear your thoughts and advice and if there are any threads that have a DIY? Help Required Please I now have my Lovely M35 AR-X VQ25DET and I've had fitted my hand controls and wheelchair hoist so I can get around. Replaced the Nissan Rims with 18X8 rims with Yokohama tyres and TPMS fitted, its great to drive. Now, what mod should I do first, Brakes , Suspension or something else? So if your going to suggest something I would like to know why that brand and the sizes. Also my M35 is equal to which Skyline model as so far three people have told me 3 different models? All advice gratefully received if not acted on.

Pioneer avh-x8850bt review. Advice needed. Just purchased the pioneer avh-x8850bt, Does anyone have it installed and are experiencing any issues? Hey all, long time listener first time caller. Bought a dual-sunroof 2002 M35 250t RX FOUR in black, (96,000kms $6250) 2 weeks ago now. Extremely happy with it, though there are a few things I'd like to address on it and considering the price and mileage there's a few physical trade-offs I've had a hard time finding exactly what I'm looking for without having any real amount of technical knowledge... So I'll just go ahead and list my issues and hopefully you guys will be able to help! Sorry if this stuff has been answered before in other threads. 1. How have you gone about getting parts from Japan? My cousin has lived there for half a decade now and is happy to collect and ship them for me if I sort it all out, but I've had a hard time finding exactly how their mail works and how much I'll be paying to have stuff sent over (for example, I'm after a beige steering wheel with cruise/audio controls to replace my crappy one that doesn't have the extras on it). 2. As above, if I were to buy a new steering wheel is there anything else I would need to hook it up? Do they have the looms and everything there, ready to connect? Or going from a base wheel with nothing on it to one with cruise/audio controls, am I going to have some issues? 3. Insurance. How did everyone else go? I got quoted $971 comprehensive at Shannons with a $500 excess and 1 free piece of glass replacement per year. At Justcar, theirs was $940 with an excess of $700 and no glass. Ended up going with 3rd party fire & theft because I'm broke, and could only get that with Justcar for $340. Everything else was blown out of proportion. I'm a 26 year old Rating 1 male. 4. A mechanic friend (4th year apprentice, minimal experience with imports) and I have been looking into a clunky wobbly noise problem in the front end. Previous owner said it was the ball joints, but we've been looking at replacing the D bushes on the front sway bar, as everything else seems alright. If it turns out not to be what we think, has anyone else had similar problems and what was the issue? Can you simply replace the ball joints on these or is it a matter of getting a whole new control arm? Any suggestions on what else it might be? 5. What's the radius of a stock sway bar, so we can find the right bushes to order? I read somewhere on here that it might be 29mm. Just need confirmation if anyone can offer it! 6. Lastly, what I'm assuming will be the biggest headache - the TV. My screen doesn't turn on, assuming it has something to do with there being nothing at all in the slot in the dash and nothing in either of the side panels in the boot either. Can't see any holes so doesn't look like something was removed, just looks like my Stag never had what's supposed to be in the boot to begin with. What has everyone done with their screens, and how? I'd really love to just have it as a working DVD/USB player, with the added bonus of the trip computer and all that other stuff as a plus. Obviously I can't read Japanese, lol. I read a bit about somebody here supplying English units for $250 or thereabouts - what's the deal? Is it possible to have all of the features I listed without having to install a second unit somewhere? Sorry about the noob questions! Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, KeeL

Hey all. I am a newbie here but i currently seek advice on the best places to find a decent r32. I looked around my city and can only find a couple for sale rn. My question is i guess is there anyone who wants to sell their car. If not is there a skyline specialty yard in WA? Is importing that hard? I see a few interstate for sale all the time. Also if not a skyline would you recommend any other jdm car? I have had a few nice jap imports before but the market seems to be a bit all over atm. I am wanting one in grey and as good original condition as i can find. (Not chopped up) i considered other models of skyline but just not the 33.( I never liked those theyre a tad oversized for my liking. ) I am not looking for a gtr specifically as just a gts-t will do me fine. Also leave any ideas if you like. Such as similar sized cars etc. Cheers.

Hey everyone, I am currently doing a r32.4 build, but just doing the front end conversion, Im just wondering if anyone has done this before as I need some advice. Ive got my self the front end of the body kit, veilside 34 gtr bonnet, 34 xenon headlights and nismo side indicators.. all i have to get now is the front indicators, but the problem I have at the moment is I dont really know how to hook up the indicators etc. Do I have to get my hands on a 34 indicator loom or something.. any advice will be appreciated if people are interested in this thread I willl upload pictures etc as time goes on.

PLEASE HELP can some one please tell me if these injectors are poorly fitted , should the green o ring be visible ,if so there is 1 injector were i cant see the green o ring , and also should there be visible gaps around the o rings ,please, thank you

Hi there New to forum, looking to buy a 350gt premium, i have found 2 and i am trying to decide between both and would appreciate some thoughts - first one is has apparently 65,000k's 2003 $13,000 the guy is the first owner is Australia, purchased from all imports, completely stock, my concern is he has a deposit invoice that he has shown me which include the VIN, and a finial purchase invoice, with a different VIN... i have brought this up with him and he apparently did not even realize, has anyone experienced similar situation where they were given two different VINS from all imports? - Second one has 112,000k's 2006 for $12,700, is this too cheap? seats do look fairly worn, the guy has told me he is first owner in Australia aswell, but is unable to provide me with any such documents about the importation or invoices from all imports.. Advice on my conundrum would be great!!! Cheers

Hey guys, Photos below: Got this car from the auctions, grey import, has skyline printed all over but rego doesn't specify model, it's listed only as 2002 Nissan sedan so I'm not sure what model I should be looking at for parts etc. It's obviously been modified by previous owner, suspension has been lowered, possibly chopped, don't know for sure. Local mechanic sent me this photo after I took it in for a service and told me the front suspension (mainly bushes) are destroyed, and the steering column is about to fall off... He's said it'll take 6 weeks to source bushes/bushings for repair from Nissan, but doesn't seem sure about what parts will suit... Any advice on what model's parts will be compatible and where to source them? Possibly quicker/cheaper? Or a recommendation for a more specialised mechanic? Any help would be much appreciated, I'm at a loss! Thanks

Hi all , i own a Nissan skyline r33 gtst , long story short my driver side window is broken and smashed , bought new glass and i suspect a rubber trim on inside of door ( as seen in photos ) is broken any ideas what is it and where i can get replacements ? i need to fix asap :c

After Market Wheel with quick release. Hey guys, i own an R34 Skyline GT Manual which is 1998. I was thinking to install a Hub + quick release with a genuine MOMO wheel (from japan) Is this legal? and if i did not have a genuine one with no ADR markings? is quick release legal? if i was to be pulled over, how much will the fine cost? if i use the fuse techinque to work around the airbag light, if i ever hit a pole, will the passenger airbag work? or nah?? thanks in advance, ryan

Hey guys, i am in need of help trying to find the correct offset for my R33. I have been searching around for a fair while now and have settled for some Work Emotion XD9 rims. the problem i am having is finding the correct size and offset without rolling fenders and what not. my car is stock ride height and love when the wheels just have that little bit of poke. after searching i have found that 18x9.5 all around seems to fit nicely without rolled guards but unsure on what offset i need to pull it off, i have attached a photo of exactly what i want mine to look like. and if possible whats the biggest tyres i can fit front and back without too much rub. thankyou for anyone who can help Reference pic has: Apexi Shocks on standard springsGenuine Work Emotion XD9 Wheels on Nitto Semi-slick tyres
