hello, everyone! i was hoping someone with an r33 could help me out. whist working on the brakes the other day i noticed that the installers zip tied the front brake lines to what seems to be the dust shield. i would like to have these lines secured properly, but I am not sure where the bracket goes on these. i have the service manual, but the line drawings aren't exactly super helpful with all of the other components that are in the area, so i am hoping that with a few pictures i would be able to understand where these are attached to. here's what i believe is the part that was removed:

the other night i took the car out for a spin. after a while, i noticed the brake peddle was super stiff and i was hearing a clicking sound from the brakes when i was stopped. when i started to drive, it felt like the calipers were engaged and it smelled like pads, so i am assuming the pads were engaged. this is on an r33 gtr. does the power steering system provide the vacuum for the brakes? does this sound familiar to anyone? thanks in advance.

Complete bolt on R32 GTR Brake upgrade for Series 1 WGNC34. 296x32mm rotor with calipers which I rebuilt 1500km ago with genuine Nissan seals. Held up fine at Winton and Sandown with 230kw behind them on semi-slicks. The best bang-for-buck brake upgrade you'll find. hey guys just a quick question and its probably been asked a thousand times but im in a hurry as i have to take it to the mechanics tomorrow... im replacing my 33 gtst's rotors to slotted ones and the front brake pads need changing..., im going to change all 4 brake pads at the same time? read somewhere on forums that it might be a bad idea to change both the pads and rotors at the same time? is there any truth to this... What is the best brake fluid to buy before i go and get my brakes done so i can get that replaced too? I read on the braking forum that Bendex Ultimates might be the best to go for brakes can anyone recommend a good place locally to go to get these at a decent price for all 4 brake pads?..... Edit : i got quoted 350$ for a pair of EBC redstuff....does this sound about right for just a pair? am i better off going bendex?

Y34 Cedric rear rotors So now I think I've fixed the transmission hopefully ! I now need rear rotors. Does anyone know of another model more readily available that has the same rear rotors ? Because nobody stocks anything for this car and genuine rotors are a 3 week wait from Japan... Cheers.

Help Required Please I now have my Lovely M35 AR-X VQ25DET and I've had fitted my hand controls and wheelchair hoist so I can get around. Replaced the Nissan Rims with 18X8 rims with Yokohama tyres and TPMS fitted, its great to drive. Now, what mod should I do first, Brakes , Suspension or something else? So if your going to suggest something I would like to know why that brand and the sizes. Also my M35 is equal to which Skyline model as so far three people have told me 3 different models? All advice gratefully received if not acted on.

M35 Brake Mount Bolts Hi All, I've snapped a front calliper mounting bolt and am having no luck finding out where to purchase new ones. Most of the info I've found is pointing me to go genuine - anyone know the part numbers for them? Or any suggestions on where to source replacements? I'm keen to replace them all. Cheers.

Wanted: R33 GTR rotors Hey guys, looking for some GTR rotors. Have some laying around that you upgraded to slotted dimpled? Upgraded to some fancy zip bang willwoood setup? Will be using to test fit an adapter that we're working on. I will also have them available cheap AF for SAU'ers so weeeew.

Ok so now to my problems, I own a Stagea c34 RS4 1997 mod rb25det Automatik (not sure if car is s1 or s2 but know the engien is s2) Im trying to figure out what shoks and springs i can use on my car, i know ther is a post for this but it was not spesefied if it was a 2wd or 4wd or if it was auto or not. I have goten som "info" wher it have been "i think its this" but dosent realy cut it for me. What im looking for is 40mm 40mm lowering springs and dampers (not coilovers) And brakes that fits the car, not upgraded brakes but original, need to know witch car i can get parts from (Stagea dos not exisit in any database wher i live) Sorry if i have written this a bit backwords or realy comfusing! Hope somone is abel to help!

Hi all, been trawling through pages and pages and I can't find answers to all of my questions so I'm hoping to get some help in this thread. Background, I have a 2002 M35 Autech Axis that is due for a brake change (front pads and rotors are gone). I've managed to find a set of 350Z Brembos (cause why replace when you can upgrade) for a decent price and am just trying to get some more information before making the jump. From my digging, this is what I've found: Should be a direct bolt on however R34 GTT threads mention modification to the dust fan / bolt but unsure if the Brembos will face the same problems Information points to that the 18" Autech wheels might not fit but can't find confirmation Have seen no mention to the upgrade affecting ABS #justdoit What I wanted to know are the following: How bolt on is bolt on? Will the same changes need to done as per the R34 GTTs? Is there a guide somewhere specific to the Brembos? The kit comes with calipers, rotors and lines. Will that be all I need besides the pads? Anyone to confirm the 18" Autech wheels will/won't fit the Brembos Thanks! - Yang

I bought an M35 last week and after trolling the forums all weekend I have a couple newb questions about brakes and suspension.... Looks like I'm running stock brakes at the moment and when I brake the car will shudder quite a bit, I haven't been able to get the car in the air yet, but I'm assuming it's warped rotors. I'm a why replace when you can upgrade sort of guy and from hunting around the boards it seems the 350z calipers and are a straight bolt on apart from possibly needing wheel spacers? Are there any specifics I need to know? Year range, model variants etc? I've also noticed a clunk in the suspension somewhere, looking at the notes from a service last year the mechanic said the was a knock in front shocks, so I'm assuming I'll be up for new suspension very soon. This is going to be my daily school bus/shopping trolley (got motorbikes for when I want to go proper fast), so I don't want it to be too stiff. I've seen a lot of people here recommend BC coilovers. I ran the V1's in my RS Liberty with Whiteline everything and even on the softest damper setting it was still quite hard (To be fair I'd stripped a lot of weight out of the RS, could have something to do with it?). Is any sort of ride comfort possible int he Stagea with the BC's? Or should I look at getting some Bilsteins with circlip grooves machined into them? She's booked in at a good mechanic late next week for a proper going over, but I'd love to have a bit of info myself before then. Anyway I guess I should post some pics.
