  1. Looking for the following parts in the up coming weeks. S2 RB25DET gearbox with shifter and cross member. No noises, crunching etc. Z32 afm with plug. 33 GTR rear brembo calipers only. Don't need rotors. Also some Toyo R888's in 235/45r15 and either 245/45r17 or 255/45r17. Want new tyres so if anyone has hook ups with these that would be great. All parts must be good condition and still usable. Will pay for post from interstate on smaller items but not so much the gearbox. Pm me with more info/pics. Adam
  2. Make: Nissan Model: 350Z Track Year: 2004 Body Style: (Coupe/Roadster/etc) Colour: Pewter Grey Version: (Track/Touring/Anniversary/etc) Engine NA Transmission: Manual Interior Material/Colour: Sunburnt yellow Odometer: 12*,***kms Price: $24,500 negotiable Contact Details: 0410888383 Comments: Up for sale is my 2004 Nissan 350z Track Edition. The car has been great since the day I purchased it, I've never had any trouble with it, the car is serviced regularly by me, the oil gets dumped every 2500 to 3500 kilometres depending on how burnt the oil is. I have been told this is excessive but I don't like running with burnt oil. Over the years of ownership I have upgraded some components for better performance as listed below: CUSCO ZERO 3 - COIL-OVER SUSPENSION (20 way adjust-ability) CUSCO - REAR CAMBER ARMS CUSCO - FRONT A ARMS CUSCO - FRONT AND REAR SWAY BARS This set up alone cost $4000, I didn't want to lose comfort but be able to customise it easily to different drive types. Drives just like factory now with a bit more sharpness plus room to improve with its adjust-ability. (complete OEM suspension + camber + a-arms + sway bars can be included) TOMEI - EXPREME V2 HEADERS STILLEN - HIGH FLOW CATS X FORCE - EXHAUST SYSTEM K&N - COLD AIR INTAKE, AND PLENUM SPACER (complete OEM exhaust can be included by request) These modifications have opened up the throttle response and given the car a exotic exhaust note without having any annoying back pressure sound while cruising. The only time there is any rasp in the exhaust note is in 2nd gear at WOT which in my opinion fits the car. VOLK- GTS 19 INCH (9.5" front and 10.5" rears - brand new these cost $4600 plus shipping) Currently running on about 80+% tread with federal tyres evo 595's, the grip on these tyres is awsome, (medium to soft tyre). NISMO - TITANIUM SHIFT KNOB I-POD CONNECTIVITY - integrated into the OEM stereo and also charges the ipod/i-phone the standard stereo sounds great, good balance for the cabin setup. (extra speakers included + oem head unit) The clutch and flywheel have been replaced with a custom single plate heavy duty clutch, and a extreme single mass lightened flywheel late last year. There is some light chatter from the flywheel but isn't overly noticeable while driving but the clutch peddle is very light. As a standard car it is solid on the road with very minimal road noise, with cruise control for freeway driving factory Brembo braking system, this car is the complete package with nothing to spend. The Zed has been meticulously maintained and never missed a beat. Regretful sale but selling to cater for other commitments. I highly doubt you will find a Z car like this one, there are some chips in the front bar and a small dent in the passenger door (whilst in carpark) but overall for a 10 year old car it is immaculate. No low ballers please, anyone that has a real interest please call or text me with any questions, I'm am negotiable on the price to an extent and have a set of Advan AVS 18" wheels which i can include as an extra cost or replacement for the Rays Volk GTS wheels. (subject to price adjustment) The pictures don't justify how this car shines and looks under the sun, anyone with a real interest in this type of car will be impressed. http://www.carsales....0/?Cr=6&sdmvc=1 check out the link for pictures. thanks for viewing
  3. After a full set of front and rear calipers only please Let me know what you have Call or txt on 0407 175 417 Cheers

Great car, selling because we no longer need two cars. Scratch/dent in rear drivers side door just below door handle. E-bay DVD, Navi, Radio, Bluetooth unit mounted below heater controls. Factory steering wheel controls with after-market cruise control and working stereo controls. HICAS not opperational. Think steering angle sensor is not right for car/not working. Std Equ; Black leather interior in great condition, dual elec sunroof, heated elec seats. Factory (dealer) fitted options. Alarm(not immoboliser), reverse swing down mirrors. Will come with two keyfob remotes and one service key. I am second Australian owner, have Japanese manuals and service records. 8. Hola, The time has come to sell my beloved R32 GTR. Ive had this car for over 7 years and ive spent a lot of time and money fixing it up to a standard where im happy with it. Unfortunately priorities in life change and I need the money to purchase an investment property. This GTR is an 89 model and is a real head turner. Every time I take this car out for a drive it receives compliments and plenty of ‘thumbs up’ lol. I wouldn’t say that the car is immaculate like many other sellers claim, but it’s a fine example of a GTR. The following list of mods include a lot of parts to make the car track suitable, though since the engine and box rebuild the car hasn’t seen the track or drag strip once. As is, the engine is an absolute monster. It is currently running on a run in tune as the engine is fresh. It has now finished its run in period and is ready for a full tune. The engine is top notch and made 370rwkw on its first pull of on only 17psi. It was then backed off and is making around 360rwkw on gate pressure and pump fuel. With a full flex tune, timing and more boost it will push a responsive 450rwkw. The Noise of this thing has to be heard to be believed. Below is a link of the original 2.6 build. Going through more of the pages you will see some of the new parts and modifications as well as the run in tune result of the new set up. The car has barely been driven over the last since the rebuild as ive been overseas for work since the start of the year. For anyone who is familiar with Chris, they would know that he is an extremely sort after builder and he doesn’t just take any job. He was kind enough to build this engine for me over the period of several months whilst at the same time building WTAC engines that included the Tilton EVO (overall winner) and Sutton Bros S15. The engine is smooth and makes excellent power and response. Its running 9.3 compression, all balanced, includes light head work in regards to porting and has the following components included. 2.9 full counter weight single piece billet crank 79.4mm stroke (only a handful of these cranks exist) Nitto forged I Beam rods Custom forged CP/Nitto Pistons 87mm Custom ATI 1000hp balancer with trigger wheel to suit crank trigger (more in electronics), This balancer was custom made by ATI as I believe they have the best balancers on the market. The custom hub on the balancer was made to enable a trigger disc to be fitted to the rear and now runs with the Ross trigger kit. Racepace extended baffled sump Ferrea dual valve springs, retainers, seats and locks Unigroup custom cams (perfect for response and top end) 260 duration with 10.8mm lift. As a result I purchased a set of Tein RA coil overs and had them sent straight to RACE PACE to have them modified with new valving and springs. They are quite nice to drive on the street and would be great for the track . All rear diff and sub frame bushes have been changed. Upgraded parts include: Spit fire coil packs Morristec ignitor Brand new coil pack loom NGK copper spark plugs Interior In terms of the interior I have spent a bit of money getting it back up to scratch. Ive replaced a few of the standard parts and added some after market touches as well. These include New Dash (no bubbles) New genuine steering wheel New window seals New rear window/B pillar trims Standard R32 GTR seats with no tears or damage Nismo 260km cluster showing a touch over 100k Nismo gear shifter Defi Din Gauges oil temp, oil pressure and water temp Genuine Nissan floor mats Brand New Handbrake handle and mechanism (Not fitted but will be supplied for free if buyer doesn’t stuff me around) Body N1 front bar Brand new front windscreen which include new wind screen seals Custom radiator air guide “GODZILLA” Rolled guards Price: $39,000 Depending on interest that price may be negotiable. I will be willing to help pay for a full E flex tune if I receive a good offer. There’s probably more parts which I forgot to mention and I will add them as I remember. I currently have people interested in the engine so if I had a reasonable offer for the car without the engine that would also be an option. At the end of the day anyone could purchase this car and sell it in parts for more than purchased for. Im not in a super mad rush to sell. Car is coming up for rego in September so it will come with 6 months rego as of then. Is currently rego’d in QLD and does NOT come with plates as they were a gift from my partner. Will Negotiate Roadworthy with buyer on point of sale. quick idle video IMG_0558.MOV Will post pics next week Located Western Sydney Contact via PM or mobile Joey
  9. Gday Folks, Long shot, looking to see if anyone has a seal kit floating around. Please PM me if thats OK, lots of thread thieves
  10. Hi, think its time i take the calipers off and have them rebuilt. Any recommendations for rebuilders in Sydney that are decently priced? Thanks
  11. I'm looking to upgrade my current brake system on my series 2 stagea, I'll need at least 324mm rotors for the front up to 355mm, to clear the inner diameter of the wheel- to-caliper distance as the current 297mm calipers are hitting the rims on the inner shoulder of calipers and to clear would need to use a 15mm thick spacer. Will consider all brands, but will require them to be in usable condition and be able to get pads/spares etc if needed in future.
  12. Hi all, been trawling through pages and pages and I can't find answers to all of my questions so I'm hoping to get some help in this thread. Background, I have a 2002 M35 Autech Axis that is due for a brake change (front pads and rotors are gone). I've managed to find a set of 350Z Brembos (cause why replace when you can upgrade) for a decent price and am just trying to get some more information before making the jump. From my digging, this is what I've found: Should be a direct bolt on however R34 GTT threads mention modification to the dust fan / bolt but unsure if the Brembos will face the same problems Information points to that the 18" Autech wheels might not fit but can't find confirmation Have seen no mention to the upgrade affecting ABS #justdoit What I wanted to know are the following: How bolt on is bolt on? Will the same changes need to done as per the R34 GTTs? Is there a guide somewhere specific to the Brembos? The kit comes with calipers, rotors and lines. Will that be all I need besides the pads? Anyone to confirm the 18" Autech wheels will/won't fit the Brembos Thanks! - Yang
  13. Hi there, I'm looking for a set of R35 GTR Brembos for sale. Either full set with rotors or just calipers. PM me if you have any for sale. Thank you. *picture for reference*
  14. Hi all, I have recently purchased this brake adaptor kit for my R34 GTT, and after learning of my involvement on Skylines Australia, Alpha Omega Racing has offered a discount saving to all SAU members. Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Product: Evo 350mm Brembo Brake Adaptor Kit. The adaptors are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, which is super lightweight and high strength. There is also a 'Stealth Edition' kit available, where the adaptors are anodised black. Purpose: The kit allows you to fit Brembo calipers from an Evo 5-9 (all the same) with Evo X rotors (350mm, much larger than the 320mm used on previous Evo's) to your R32/R33/R34/S13 (5 stud)/S14/S15/Z32/Z33. The reason for not using the Evo X caliper is because they have larger 'legs' which would require the adaptor to be smaller/weaker. The Brembo calipers on the Evo's have a slightly larger pad area than the GTR Brembo's, as well as larger pistons, and can often be bought significantly cheaper too. What's included: - Pair of CNC machined 7075 billet alloy caliper adaptors - High tensile bolts and washers - Installation instructions (with pictures) What you need to get - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo front calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clips/banjo bolts) - Mitsubishi Evo X front rotors (350x32mm) - Custom brake lines Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above, but you are also able to purchase the parts elsewhere if you wish. I personally sourced the parts elsewhere as I decided to go for 2 piece Attkd rotors and had a local business make my brake lines as I use them regularly for other custom lines. Some people may find it more convenient to purchase all parts for the conversion from Alpha Omega Racing and the listed prices are as follows; - Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo front calipers (used) - $850 - RDA Evo X 350x32mm slotted rotors - $290 - Goodridge custom brake lines - $240 Alpha Omega Racing can also offer services to rebuild your used calipers, powder coat them, or even install the whole kit. Wheel clearance: Minimum of 17" race style wheels with good clearance are required. Brake Master Cylinder: You are able to retain your factory brake master cylinder, however it is recommended to upgrade to a brake master cylinder with a piston size of 17/16" (such as a BM57). Price: The RRP for the adaptor kit is $370 plus postage, or $385 for the 'Stealth Edition' adaptor kit plus postage. The group buy discount that is being offered is; - <5 people = no discount - 5-11 people = Normal kit for $340ea, or 'Stealth Edition' kit for $355ea, (save $30) plus postage - 12-19 people = Normal kit for $310ea, or 'Stealth Edition' kit for $325ea, (save $60) plus postage - 20+ people = As above, with free postage - including tracking number/signature on delivery/insurance (total saving of approximately $90-110) Group Buy Condition: The group buy will run for a two (2) week period, finishing at close of business on 4th June 2015. Anybody interested in purchasing the kit as part of the group buy should notify my by the cut off date and I will add them to the 'buyer list'. At the conclusion of the group buy period I will tally the number of buyers and contact Alpha Omega with the total numbers. A discount coupon will be provided to each buyer allowing them to get the appropriate discount. Prior to the cut off date all communication will be with me either via this thread or via PM. At the conclusion of the group buy, once you have been provided with the discount code, all communication will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega. All shipping and payment details will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega only. Any warranty on the product(s) will be provided by Alpha Omega. 15. hi there, im sure this has been asked before so sorry for the repeat, have been trying to search and seems the search bar (or my pc) hasnt been working for a few days. anyway, my brother drives a 2003 (i think) 350GT he has recently upgraded to much bigger AP racing calipers and rotors so here i am thinking i need bigger brakes when i see them in a box in the shed and they would be about perfect for what i need. (2 pot rear 4 pot front i think) would the rotors and or calipers directly bold on? and if not what would be involved in making them fit? also would i be needing a bigger than standard master cylinder? cheers Caleb
  16. I've got a set of Brembos that came off my v35 with 55,000kms on it has slotted brakes all round that has been coated with zink to stop corrosion Hawk performance pads all round both pads and disc has ~7000kms on them comes with all bolts and can include standard brake lines also only modification that needs to be done from standard brakes is the rear dust shield needs to be trimmed. here is a link to a DIY http://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension-diy/266223-diy-for-stock-non-brembo-to-stock-brembo-brakes.html ATTACHED PHOTOS more information just contact me Price: $1700 ONO can post at buyers expense but its like 50kg maybe
  17. Possibly relevant for Skyline drivers but this is for a track Silvia. I often see Evo Brembo's much cheaper than GT-R Brembos but the Evo units, despite being a better caliper with larger pad area, require an adapter regardless of whether you use 320mm or 350mm Evo Rotors. Such as this: http://www.tf-works.com/tf-evo-8-9-brembo-brake-caliper-adapter-for-nissan-s13-s14-s15/ (This is for 320mm rotors) My concern is how the adapter will handle the heat from longer stints and the risk of pad knock back etc from flex in the mount. Car is getting a new motor and will end up on either big semis or slicks so will be moving along a bit. Not an issue to be worried about and time to enjoy some Evo calipers or better to stick with the direct fit R33 GT-R Brembo's for a bit more money, less pad area, but maybe less issues?
  18. hello! i have been looking for information on how to rebuild the brakes on a 1995 r33 gtr. i would like to rebuild them myself, but i am having a heck of a time finding anything other than replacement seals. i am looking for replacement/ upgraded pistons, torque specs, the gasket that goes between the caliper halves, if any. i have searched for any kind of documentation on this, but i don't seem to find anything other than engine manuals. on the bremboparts.com site, they only offer replacement pads. no pins, shims, or anything else. does anyone have, or know of, a walkthrough of how to rebuild the calipers? does anyone know of a place to order replacement parts? as these are brembos that were widely used, i really thought all this stuff would be more readily available.
  19. I have decided to put together a quick review of my brake upgrade as I’ve received quite a lot of interest and have received many questions regarding them. So here it is, a quick overview of the kit, parts I chose and why, issues I came across when installing, and my final thoughts after getting the car on the track. Company/Product: Alpha Omega Racing / Evo 350mm Brembo front brake adaptor kit Price: $370 plus postage Links: http://www.alphaomegaracing.com http://alphaomegaracing.com/p/50/c/73/Z33/ALPHA-OMEGA/Evo-350mm-Brembo-Brakes-Adapter-Kit-Version-2.html Purpose: The kit allows you to fit front Brembo calipers from an Evo 5-9 (all the same) with Evo X rotors (350mm) to your R32/R33/R34/S13 (5 stud)/S14/S15/Z32/Z33. What’s included: - Pair of CNC machined 7075 billet alloy caliper adaptors - High tensile bolts and washers - Installation instructions (with pictures) What else you need: - Mitsubishi Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo front calipers and brake pads - Mitsubishi Evo X front rotors (350x32mm) - Custom brake lines Alpha Omega Racing is able to provide all of the above parts as well as parts and services (labour) for rebuilding calipers and even fitting if you are not comfortable doing so yourself. I personally opted to source the parts myself but the convenience factor is there of getting everything you need in one spot if preferred. The kit makes use of the Evo X 350mm rotors as opposed to the Evo 5/6/7/8/9 320mm rotors due to a couple of engineering issues, and of course better heat dispersion. Read more regarding the engineering issues on their page here: http://alphaomegaracing.com/i/9/Evo-Brembo-Brakes-On-A-Nissan-Adapter-Designs.html I personally purchased some calipers at a particularly cheap price which I found at the time, along with some Attkd 2 piece rotors. I also fitted these with some new Intima Type D pads. The car sees reasonably frequent track use so going for either RDA or DBA slotted rotors may be better suited for others. I had some custom brake lines made up at a local business which are required due to the Brembo calipers having banjo fittings. I had read in a couple of places that stock Evo lines would fit but it was found that they are too short and would pull on full lock. Test vehicle: 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 GTT – upgraded from stock calipers with DBA4000 T3 slotted rotors Unboxing the kit: The adaptor kit arrived super quickly and was packaged as well as you would expect this kind of part to be. The adaptors are super light being made from billet alloy and appeared to be of very good quality. They have Alpha Omega Racing etched on one side and ‘Made in Australia’ etched on the other. The kit included all bolts required with washers and an instruction booklet. Installation: Install was easy with the only issue I came across being that one of the bolts from the adaptor kit to the hub is slightly interfered with by where the factory brake line bracket is bolted to the hub (I believe this is not on all vehicles that the kit is designed for). The issue is outlined in the instructions provided with the kit, something I would have realised and known about had I looked at them prior to beginning the install (but hey, who ever reads instructions lol). Quick fix with an angle grinder and they bolted straight up with perfect alignment. The bracket is a non-structural component and is purely a mounting point for the stock brake line so there was no issue with removing it. Initial impressions on the street: A quick ‘spirited’ drive of the car after fitment and I found the braking to have more bite, as you would expect with the larger contact area of the pads. The brake pedal had a tiny bit more travel in it due to retaining the stock brake master cylinder. Alpha Omega Racing do recommend upgrading to a BM57 master cylinder, which I did purchase elsewhere but this turned out to be a faulty unit so I refitted the stock unit in order to get the car driving. Impressions on the track: About two weeks after fitment I attended a Wakefield Park track day to test out the new setup. I was definitely impressed and it took some getting used to being able to brake later at the kink/turn 2 especially. On the day I was able to knock 1 second off my previous PB and felt that I was still adapting to how well the brakes could pull the car up. The pedal feel was softer then before but not bad, it had more travel which some would prefer. My next attendance at the track saw me cut another 0.7 seconds off my PB, meaning I had cut almost 2 seconds off my times previous to the brake upgrade. By this point I had gone from braking between the end of the wall and the kink with the stock setup to now braking after the kink. Overall opinion: The quality of the adaptor kit is top notch and the customer service provided by Wing at Alpha Omega Racing was great. The install/fitment was perfect and the only thing that could have improved on this would be for me to read the provided instructions as I already mentioned. The flexibility to purchase the other parts is great as it allows for the money conscience buyer to source their parts or use already owned parts, or for the track conscious people out there to upgrade the setup even more. For the time conscious person, everything can be purchased from Alpha Omega Racing making it a quick process to get everything needed. The upgrade over the standard setup is definitely noticeable in terms of braking ability and the larger discs help with heat distribution too. Retaining a stock rear brake setup (freshly machined rotors with Intima Type D pads) did mean the braking was notably more front bias, but the car did not feel greatly unsettled by this. Alpha Omega Racing is currently releasing a rear upgrade kit which will aide in returning a more balanced bias. The recommendation to upgrade to the larger brake master cylinder would also improve pedal feel however I do not feel is ‘necessary’ in my car. This would probably be a different story in a Silvia or R33 GTS-t which both have a smaller unit. The kit originally caught my eye because the Evo Brembo’s have larger pistons and more pad area, while being a cheaper option to the ‘factory GTR Brembo upgrade’. Suffice to say I am definitely happy with the upgrade and will be looking forward to getting my hands on the rear kit. If anyone has any questions regarding the kit, its install, or any particulars about the performance on track, please feel free to ask me either in this thread or by sending me a PM. 20. Hey, Does anyone have any experience with the fitment of the Alpha Omega 350mm Evo Brembos onto an R32 GTR with Enkei RPF1's in 17x9.5+18? I've seen standard Evo's running 17" RPF1's and they clear, but obviously they have the 320mm rotors. I'm pretty certain the caliper will clear the spokes, just unsure with the barrel clearance with the bigger rotor as they don't look as big as the TE37s and LMGT4s in 17". Thanks, George.
  21. r34 GTT brake upgrade Hi Guys, I have set of EBC 310 grooved and dimpled on my r34GTT I installed it with ebc red stuff and I have to say brake performance is fu***ing sh*t I think my kia picanto 1 liter is better than the skyline. I also changed the fluid to dot4 racing from castrol. My hope is that I need to bleed the system and brake is ok. I have been lazy to do it as have hardly drived the car but I am using it frequently now. I almost crashed it another day by failing to stop. it gets very soft and goes further down when braking hard . Anyways, whilst I am going to do the bleeding , I thought I also change the caliper and rear discs to groved/dimpled. It is the standard size of 310 at front and 295mm at back. would you invest £600 on pair of GTR brembo or change the disc to 350mm and get evo10 caliper and disc? I spent in excess of £400 on the disc and the pads last time.
  22. hey guys i just recently bought an r33 gtr v-spec and at light braking pressure at speeds around 40kph and under i have an extremly loud squeak from the front brakes i have been told that brembo's are known for squeaking like this but would like to try and fix it the calipers are factory and it has 2 peice front discs unsure of brand i think theyre aftermarket and unsure of the pads i have been told to just try blowing the area with a blow gun or greasing the shims just want to confirm any help would be great thanks guys
  23. Hi there, I tried searching the forum for this but mostly came up with GTR brembos. I am looking to fit EVO 8 brembos and they are massive on a GTR R32 and I am in the market shortly for some new rims. I currently have BBS LM's 17 X 9 and there is no way the EVO 8 brembos will fit. Has anyone fitted EVO 8 brembos on their R32 GTR? What size wheels and offset would i require to fit EVO 8 brembos? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  24. Alpha Omega Racing Evo 350mm Big Brake Kit Group Buy Round 3 (WTAC rear kit available) Hey all, Alpha Omega Racing are running a group buy again just in time for World Time Attack Challenge. You may already be aware, Alpha Omega Racing have been developing adaptor kits to fit front and rear Evo Brembo’s to S/R/Z chassis for some time now. This is now the third group buy run for the brake adaptor kits, and will this time include the front adaptor kit (Version 3), rear adaptor kit, and the new WTAC edition rear adaptor kit which has been developed to meet WTAC Clubsprint rules. Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Products: Evo 350mm Brembo Front Brake Adaptor Kit and/or Evo 350mm Brembo Rear Brake Adaptor Kit. These adaptors are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, which is super lightweight and high strength. What's included (front kit): - Left and right adapters made out of one piece of 7075-T6 billet aerospace alloy - Various high tensile 12.9 bolts and high tensile washers - Full installation instructions with pictures Front fitment with 17x9 +15 What's included (rear kit): - Left and right adapters made out of one piece of 7075-T6 billet aerospace alloy - Hub spacers (standard rear kit only) - Various high tensile bolts and high tensile washers - Full installation instructions with pictures Rear fitment with 18x10 +35 What you need to get (front kit) - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo frontcalipers(including pads/pins/shims/clip) - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10 front 350x32mm rotors - Custom brake lines Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above parts, but you also have the options of sourcing them yourself. I personally sourced parts for my front kit elsewhere as I had my own lines made and picked up a cheap set of calipers. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo frontcalipers (used) - $850 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA T3 rotors (new) - $470; or - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA5000 2pc (new) - $1200 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $130 What you need to get (rear kit) - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clip) - Nissan 370Z rear 350x20mm rotors - Custom brake lines Again, Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above parts if desired. I personally sourced all parts from Alpha Omega Racing for convenience with the rear kit. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (used) - $450 - Nissan 370Z rear 350x32mm DBA T2 rotors (new) - $450 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $110 Silvia (180SX/S13/S14/S15) drivers who want a functioning handbrake will need to use the R32/R33/R34/Z32 rear drum setup, a very common upgrade. It is also worth noting that the standard rear kit requires a 6mm hub spacer to be installed for caliper clearance, this will also push your wheel/tyre out a further 6mm so may affect guard clearances. Alpha Omega Racing can also offer services to rebuild your used calipers, powder coat them, or even install the whole kit. Using both the front and rear big brake kits developed by Alpha Omega will result in a 69:31 brake bias. Wheel clearance: Minimum of 17" race style wheels with good clearance are required. Brake Master Cylinder: You are able to retain your factory brake master cylinder, however it is recommended to upgrade to a brake master cylinder with a piston size of 17/16" (such as a BM57). Genuine OEM BM57 BMC’s are available from Alpha Omega Racing at a price of $500 (new), or you could also try to source from your usual Japanese parts suppliers or Nissan dealership if you desired. Price: Pricing for this group buy will be calculated per number of kits sold, not per buyer. For example, if 3 people buy a front and rear kit each, this will be calculated as 6 kits sold. Prices will be as below: 1-4 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $370ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear adapter kit for $450ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $390ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) 5-10 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $345ea (save $25) - Rear adapter kit for $400ea (save $50!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $340ea (save $50!) 11-15 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $320ea (save $50!) - Rear adapter kit for $350ea (save $100!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $290ea (save $100!!) 16+ kits sold - Front adapter kit for $295ea (save $75!!) - Rear adapter kit for $300ea (save $150!!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $240ea (save $150!!!) Braided brake lines, rotors, calipers, bleeders, rebuilding, etc are not part of this group buy but you are welcome to order them altogether. Group Buy Condition: The group buy will run until close of business on Sunday 28th September 2016. A discount ‘coupon code’ will be provided to each buyer on the 30th September 2016 allowing them to get the appropriate discount in the shopping cart on the Alpha Omega Racing website. It is expected that most orders will be placed between 3rd – 7th October 2016. Alpha Omega Racing will be closed during World Time Attack Challenge dates (10th – 14th October 2016). If you have any questions, regarding the kit or the pricing, please don't hesitate to ask either by posting in this thread or sending me a PM. Cheers, Tim
  25. BCNR33 Vs BNR34 front brake caliper threads Hi, I have a set of R33 GTR Brembo front calipers. They came without the hard lines or any brake lines or fittings but do have the "olives" still on them. I wanted to retain the factory flared hard lines so i bought a set of BNR34 hard lines with aftermarket braided lines since both BCNR33 & BNR34 share the same part numbers in both Nissan & Nismo data. I tired fitting them to the calipers but they do no't seem to fit due to a different thread on the caliper and hard line bolt, Do BCNR33 & BNR34 front calipers have different threads? Thanks!
