Hey. . I have a from what looks like a 3 inch custom stainless exhaust system from the dumps down. But it looks like I have the original catalytic converter. It does look it it has been tampered with and a straight pipe has been welded through it. Is that what it looks like to you guy's? It does seem odd that someone would fork out a reasonable amount of money but skimp on a nice cat? This system has been put on by the previous owner.

Hi guys, I recently had my MY11 WRX clutch replaced as the previous throw out bearing had given way. When I drove the car away I noticed a rattle in 2nd gear in the 1500-2000rpm range. The mechanic suspected a heat agile but he removed them and the rattle was still there. I'm thinking his knocked/dropped something and that has loosened something internally. If someone could help with some answers as to what could be vibrating that would be appreciated and would help me with my case against the mechanics.. Cheers, Gino

Front/Dump Pipe/Exhaust Help Hi guys. I want to upgrade my stock dump/front pipes and cat on my R34 GTT. I don't wanna go overboard. It's just a daily driven car. Right now I have a SR JASMA cat back exhaust. I think it's 3", but I am going to replace it with a Blitz Nur Spec cat back later on. Firstly, I would like to replace the front/dump pipe. Or would I have to modify them? Question 2: When you put the pieces together, do you have to use some special silicon between the gaskets? or do you just use the gaskets they provide? Question 3: Is it very important that you need a tune after the installation, or can i just adjust my boost controller down a notch and all is well? Question 4: Would it be a good idea to wrap the front/dump pipe in Titanium wrap or waste of $$ and time? Question 5: What is the cell rating on that x-force 3' cat and is it a good buy for a daily driver expecting a little more power gain (with supporting mods in future ofcourse)? Hello all - odd question. I knew that upgrading to a 3" TBE with a 100cell cat would increase power and noise but after a few months of running it I am now getting just a tad sick from the fumes being emitted. I am wondering if anyone here has an RB25DET running a 3" Exhaust with a 200cel cat or higher and can confirm what power they are able to get from running a higher cel cat and how bad the fumes are, better if you have changed from a 100cell cat to a higher cell cat. Currently making 204rwkw with no power modifications besides the Nistune & TBE - I am willing to sacrifice power. I appreciate any feedback ?

For Sale - RB26 Front Pipes. These have been in my shed too long. I'm not going to use them like i thought i might. Pipes themselves are in ok condition. Some manipulation of the pipes has been undertaken by a previous owner/workshop. The gaskets are still in place, so some obvious cleanup is going to be necessary. The tabs (for mounting) are also mostly missing, so suggest you have a welder handy. You may want to remove the heat wrap too. It was there to support my custom turbo setup (different turbos, same position), so it may not match any one else's requirements. The exhaust was on my car originally when i purchased it and was good for 500kw so there shouldn't be any issue with these. However, with that said, i'm not an expert, please come and inspect them yourself if you have concerns. (Emphasis on this line!). Prefer pickup only, but if buyer wants to arrange their own interstate transport, i'm cool with that too. Selling for $50. Nothing wrong with them, just want them out of my life.
