Hi All, I discovered last night my misfire was due to a failed coil pack. I've bought a replacement off of FleaBay but want to replace the full set. What's the best Brand/set? OEM or aftermarket?

Hi, I'm looking for a cheap set of second hand working coil packs to buy, or even to borrow if your in perth, just so i can check if it's the coil packs that have failed.

Hi guys, I have a series 1 r33 running spitfire coils, 1250cc injectors, walbro 460 fuel pump, gtx3076r and an Apexi fc. The car DOESNT struggle on start up/Idle, but splutters and struggles to accelerate. After 15mins or so of driving, the car suddenly runs as normal and runs like a champ. The problem all started within one day- I drove the car in the morning and it ran fine and then came back to it 2 hours after of parking and the problem started. Hasn't gotten worse or any better. I have checked the spark plugs, they all look fine. Is it a coilpack problem? Ecu problem? Sensor problem? As it runs like shit until normal engine temp. Thanks a a million guys, Any help is much appreciated.

Have swapped a set of R35 coils on my BNR34. Seems like the dwell time is incorrect. Anyone knows the dwell time table for R35 coil packs? Running a Link G4+ cheers.

Is there a difference between MCP-1440 and MCP-1430 Neo Coilpacks? Hi all, I have a set of MCP-1340 coils (which came with the car afaik) and one of them went bad so got a set of MCP-1440 coils and just swapped one of them in so i'm using 5x MCP-1430 and 1x MCP-1440. Now i'm not too sure if theres any difference between the two coilpacks or if I should be using the full set of MCP-1440 coils. Theres pretty much 0 information elsware on this topic either. The MCP-1440 coils came from an R34 RB25DE Neo, and the MCP-1430 came from a RB25DE Neo 4WD Stagea.

Anyone seen this in a Yellow Jacket Coil Pack? Yet another misfire, R33 Gtst unmolested intermittent, yet continuous when occurring. Subsides after a minute or so Drives perfectly 90% of the time New Plugs, new fuel filter Did attempt to wrap the packs to no avail. Cash is tight at the moment, trying to avoid replacing these again. Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. Thank you

For sale : 2 N\A R34 Coilpacks Condition : Used Model : Hanshin MCP-1440 Quantity ; 12 Coils Hey guys, I've got 12 individual coilpacks that came off from my NA R34 Coupe and Sedan. All are the same. 6 of them have done around 75000k's and the other 6 of them around 93000k's. I'm sure that only 3 of them have died. I've changed my coilpack coz both of my R34's sounded like a WRX and the engine light came up. It was Error Code 21(Ignition Signal). As soon as i replaced the coilpack it was all perfect. I've changed mine for SplitFires and i no longer needed these. Perfect for someone who's looking for replacement coilpack or for spares. $30 each for the good one's or $150 for 6. Hi guys, selling my splitfire coil packs as i upgraded to CDI ignition awhile ago. Done about 4000kms Asking $300 Also selling my 910cc injectors off my r33 GTR. 910cc Siemens injectors, they made 410awkw with plenty of duty cycle remaining. Does not fit standard rail, fits 14mm fuel rail. Approx 1,500kms on them. Asking $200 for a set of 6

SKYLINE WONT START ! HELP !! So hear me out first guys, hear the full story it might help !! i changed my Blitz Pod filter to a K&N one Car was running fine, and on my way back home I decided to give it abit in the tunnels, after giving it all the sudden my car started choking or chugging and I thought my engine died, but it was still running, it runs fine till I step on the pedal half way it chugs and struggles and pretty much wont let me Go over 3,000 RPM so I thought maybe it's the POD that's acting up the AFM cause it felt like it was the case. So the next day I changed it back to the Blitz that I originally had earlier on and went to drive it around and it was back to normal "woooooooo" and as I got close to home it did it again the chugging and choking like it was gonna die, so I was f.. could it be my spark plug or coils. So the next day I changed my Spark Plug, it was a BKR5EIX-11 which isn't recommended but I had it laying around so I replaced it, my old spark plug was black and burnt on the tip so I thought yeah maybe this should do the trick! Plug everything back in and.... it CRANKS AND STARTS FOR A SPLIT SECOND AND immediately dies out and I only have one conclusion left, the Coilpacks but I want to see what you guys think -every hose is plugged in correctly and tightly -strange thing is that before I change the spark plug the car was running but a weak start up so I thought Spark plug but now I don't even know anymore. PLEASE HELP ME GUYS !! Could it be the coilpacks ?? Could the spark plug have anything to do with it, even if it's not recommended it should still start up, it's gapped at 1.1 which is how the plugs came (Bkr5eix-11)
