  1. Greetings, after a long absence, comes time to seek some advice from those more experienced than myself. Must say that I do peruse the site from time to time to keep informed. Anyway, my issue is this; For some time now, especially when travelling on a particularly smooth road surface, and more so at a slow speed, I have noticed a faint thump thump coming from the front part of the car On the rougher road surfaces it was not an issue. It is a great car, used on special occasions, had never done anything that I thought would flat spot a tyre. The car handled exceptionally well, and the issue never really bothered me. The front tyres on the car have done about 20k kms, are of Chinese origin, still have 2 or 3 mms left above the wear bars on them and have never given me doubt in their use. They are 225 40 18's, so a slightly lower profile than std. Looking at the tyres through the wheel arch, I have often thought how well they have served and never noticed any abnormality. I do the servicing of the car, am under it - on my back, every 5k kms and have never noticed anything wrong - this episode makes me wonder. About 20k kms ago, I replaced the lower control arm bushes with Superpro ones, all seems ok there still. Following that, the alignment data worksheet seems to indicate that the measured settings were close to those listed on the G35 Service Data sheet. So, that is the setting, now to the present. The car did the near 2k km return trip to the Bathurst 12hr last weekend. Wasn't the fastest on the road, but it did some spirited driving when conditions suited, like over Falls Creek. On the concrete section of the Hume, between Gundagai and Albury, the thump thump became more prominent. A slight tendency to veer to the left also developed. With the car home, thought it was now time for an investigation. Ha! still never doubted the tyres, took them off the car now up on blocks, and set them aside. Was overcast yesterday, a bit dark, getting late in the day, so I didn't bother getting too involved with looking for issues. Happened to move a tyre out of the way to do something else, that tyre being the worse of the two, and got a BIG shock. I have seen tyres in the past that wear off on edges, but just can't understand how the wear pattern on these tyres originated. The acute wear section is inclined to be more down the side a bit, and on the better tyre of the two, the wear is smooth as though it has been seared with a hot flat surface. Yet then, in some smaller sections the wear is not a smooth flat surface, but looks like it has been scolloped out with a tool like that to get icecream out. The other tyre - wow! I should hang that one up as a momento. There are known issues with these cars scrubbing out the inside of the fronts because of negative camber and there being no adjustment remedy. e.g. http://forums.redflagdeals.com/negative-camber-g35-559280/ That the car has 40's instead of 45's on it could also contribute. But accepting that, it seems to me that the tyres have been rubbing on something, yet there is no indication under the car that such has been happening. Rubbing on road surface?? I just can't get the angles to work
  2. Hey guys Am struggling to find a 2 door / coupe roof spoiler for my 34. All the ones i'm seeing seem to be for a 4 door. I'm assuming the rear glass is different for a four door, but wondering if these wings may fit anyway? Has anyone tried this or knows what fitment issues I may run in to?
  3. $19,000 ONO Selling my R34 GTT Series II Manual Coupe as I just don't drive it much anymore. NSW rego until late August 2019. Located in Dubbo 2830. Have owned the car for about 4.5 years, and it was imported by the previous owner in 2011. It currently has 142,000km. Timing belt was done at 80,000km when the car was imported. Car was completely stock until August 2017 when the turbo needed to be rebuilt. The stock turbo was rebuilt and high-flowed by HyperGear in Melbourne and it is their G2 build with a ball bearing core. I then added a HPI Turbine Outlet and dual outlet front pipe, and had a local exhaust workshop make up a 3in stainless system with a new high-flow cat converter. I have put in a stealth FMIC using a Frozen Boost intercooler and home fabricated piping kit, similar to this guide, with pipes beaded professionally: I have a spare GTT ECU, ready for Nistune to be installed. All the stock parts (exhaust, intercooler) are available if desired. Body is in good shape, with few minor dents and only thing that will need attention is the bootlid as the centre brake light area is starting to rust. Interior is very good except for the driver's seat which needs recovering on the corner as pictured. I'm not very interested in swaps, but could consider it for something from the 70s of similar value like a panelvan.

I was thinking maybe 10k might do me right if im buying local? thanks for any help in advance
  5. hey guys So i just bought my first car and its a 1995 r33 gts coupe with an RB20e engine in it. The car is completely stock and has no modifications done to it. I would love to make the exhaust sound much louder than what it currently does and I would like to know what else i could do to it. Im very new to skylines and have no idea what parts to get to make the exhaust sound better so any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers.

I've sourced a new reo bar however the front end still sits a bit funny. Bought a new set of headlights as the tiny plasti mounting tabs were damaged in the accident however these are not fitted as of yet. Will come with sale.   17. Hi guys I got a complete car, runs and everything but cannot be complied. So here is the story it was imported obviously to be complied and registered but it had a front repair and thanks to that the compliance workshop refused to comply it as they reckon according to the law they cant comply it and it has to be disposed off. Car starts and runs fine. here are the details 2003 Pearl White Skyline 350GT premium 52,700 kms with original de-reg paper interior grade was B, so its very clean Half leather seats in very good condition All airbags intact All electrics working like bose stereo, power windows, power locks, just to name a few Its also got Tein Comfort sport fully adjustable suspension, just did a quick google search, these cost around $2000 brand new in japan Also has rear factory side pods 350z wheels Again this is only usefull for race or parts purpose. Im not thinking to part so selling whole car as is.     Compliance Hi guys, im new here and new to the 34 life. Just recently bought a r34 coupe na (because im a p plater) but theres no complience plate or import tag or anything? It doesnt even have a vin plate thats australian...its all japanese? How can i get a plate or is it to late for the car as i dont know when it was brought to australia? Cheers
  20. Testing the waters to see if I can sell my 1993 R32 gtst again. Its manual and has been looked after, but with a little bit more TLC this 32 will be a stand out more than it already is. Just wanting to see if anyone was interested in taking this off me as I would like to put some money into my business although not in a rush to let go. ENGINE: - Freshly rebuilt with standard internals, decked and honed with clean up of head and has driven only 3000kms. (since i bought it (december 2011), it has spent most of its time under a car cover in my backyard as i also have a daily) - ACL race bearings and rings - Triple cometic metal head gasket - Yellow jacket coilpacks - R32 "semi highflowed" turbo. has different compressor wheel and rear housing has had machining done to match a much bigger exhuast wheel. core of turbo is also different. normal bearing. took to Dr Drift for inspection and once tuned, he believes it should make a healthy 200rwkws. - Braided turbo oil line - 3.5 inch jasma exhaust (quiet but not restrictive) - 43mm Alloy radiator - Return flow intercooler sprayed black (no holes drilled in chassis) - Z32 AFM on custom cooler piping - Cam gears - DRIFT catch can - Denso 650cc injectors and Bosch 040 fuel pump - Belts including timing belt has been recently changed. - New waterpump - think there is other things also but can't remember ECU: - Nistune ECU with tune from Chasers Motorworks although will need to be retuned since rebuild has been done and turbo set up changed (used to have high mount hyper gear atr43) Suspension and Driveline: - GAB height adjustable coilovers on front and CUSCO height adjustable coilovers on rear - Front and rear strut braces - Pretty sure all bushes have been changed to polyurethane bushes (red). - Pineapples on rear - Stripped WHOLE HICAS system and installed lock bar. - Shimmed up standard LSD - Exedy Heavy duty clutch kit - R32 GTR sway bars - some other things but cannot remember also Brakes and Wheels: - New brake pads front and rear - DBA slotted and dimpled front and rear brake rotors - Braided brake lines - Comes with standard R32 gtst wheels sprayed black with tyres.   22. Regretfully selling my 1990 Nissan S13 Silvia as I'm moving overseas. This is the K's model with all optional extras and some light modification. This is a manual CA18DET model with 150,000km on the clock with motor still running strong. Rego until Aug 2014, but selling without RWC (won't be hard, had RWC approved 12 months ago) Factory features: ABS, LSD, Sunroof, Leather seats (I have never seen these on another S13 before), Glove compartment cooler box (another rare extra), WORKING airconditioning (omg!!), Remote central locking with alarm. Mods (off the top of my head): T28 turbo Bleed valve K&N air filter Front-mount intercooler Performance coil pack 3 inch catback exhaust Bosch 040 fuel pump with Z32 fuel filter Tein Super Street Coilovers front and rear with cambertops 17 inch Advanti Racing wheels (not sure of the specs.. 17x6 maybe?) SAAS boost and oil pressure guages (not installed) Also selling with some other bits and pieces including a second boot lid with stock spoiler and 3rd breaklight (to pass RWC) This isn't the cleanest S13 you'll ever see, but it's a damn good car throughout. It has some great features that are rare, as well as some good, tasteful mods already on to get you started. I had so many plans for this car that I'm unable to follow through with because I'm moving to Japan and unable to keep it sitting around for years. With the right care, this car will without a doubt hold it's value or even increase in value as more S13s are stripped and thrashed into track cars or wrapped around poles. Asking $6,000 ono.     Hi everyone, my name is Justin, I'm 19 and from Melbourne. 2 months ago I sold my Commodore wagon and Imported a 1999 R34 25GT. Obviously i didnt get the GTT because im still on green P's for another 3 years. I paid $8000 for it and it only has 85,000 ks on it. Im looking forward to taking it to track days and meeting all you other Skyline enthusiasts
