  1. unfinished project. immediately needs clutch, water hoses, power steering hoses, wheel alignment. and im not sure about the turbo bearings, the water pipe that's collapsed is the line for the turbo, where it joins rubber to metal right behind the cylinder head where I cant get to it. custom colour respray, but its a bang up job, and the c pillar needs redoing (see pic). as does the wing, but the wings glued aswell, so I guess so does the boot. might wanna redo the mirrors too. mechanicals are all stock and old. also theres no rear window trim (see pic) THIS CAR MUST BE TOWED! (due to water hose) new tires. please note there is no magenta compliance tag on this vehicle, however it is currently registered in nsw.

  3. So this is what my car looked like the day I bought it, complete with Dolphin body kit Yep nice and clean, note the ACT plates (you guys have lovely roads). Well this was very short-lived, after introducing the Stagea to the 'fantastic' roads we have to offer in NSW it wasn't long until it was copping a few bumps and scrapes. Then one dark night a chopped up drum of some kind was left in the middle of the road in an 80km/h zone which fatefully met with my front bumper causing much damage and distress. It wasn't a good look, but I didn't want to spend the time and money fixing it with the thought that somewhere down the track it might happen again. So I thought why not clean it up and create a custom front bumper! I was forced to drive around for about a week without a front bumper since I was having problems with my forester... and somehow escaping the glares of about 6 cop cars we made it without incident and re-attached the bumper today! I've grown fond of the look (although my black FM Intercooler is now a bit visible), what does SAU think?
  4. 1984 Toyota Tarago V8 I have been thinking about selling this for awhile now, So will put it up to see how it goes, Not fussed if it sells really, but cant really afford so many toys, I have had this van for about 5 years, The motor conversion has been in it for about 2-3 years, It was originaly a 3Y 4cyl and 5 speed manual...... It was far to slow....... It now has a mild 308 Holden V8, The motor was built by "The Brock Shop" a few years ago, It has been very well looked after and very regulary serviced, It has ported heads with bigger valves etc, Flat top pistons, Fairly lumpy cam (unsure specs) Edelbrock manifold, 600 Holley, MSD Coil, Crane cams ignition unit, Crane cams electrionic dizzy, hi volume oil pump, hi torque starter motor etc, usual good gear, It has a 3000rpm Hi-stall convertor, trimatic auto box, Hurst pro ratchet shifter, Running Commodore diff (3:23 ratio, really needs 3:89) It has twin radiators with thermo fans, I have just installed a stainless steel flexable bottom radiator hose, (sprintcar style) It is Mod plated for the conversion and registered as a 308 with the current motor, Registration due in July 2012, It does however need a new exhaust as it is running standard exhaust manifolds and a bit of a rough exhaust, The motor is restricted as it really needs decent extractors, I have the extractors off the motor from when it was in a Commodore to go with it, 1 side needs slight mods to fit, other side fits ok, Although it has been running on this set-up for about 2-3 years so far, I do have a twin 2.5" exhaust to be modified with 2 "Hooker Headers Aero chamber" mufflers that can go with it, The van itself does have some rust in the usual Tarago places, and the paint is a bit rough, few minor dents etc, woul need a paint job to look the part again, Also needs a windscreen as it has a crack in it, I am still fixing it up slowly and will continue to do so untill sold, Exhaust will be getting done in a few weeks. It is a pretty cool cruiser and gets lots of looks (many unsure and confused ones) and definatly a whole lot of fun to drive, It is still an 8 seater van so you can go cruising with 7 of your mates May swap or part trade with cash my way, open to offers Asking $4500
  5. Unfortunately for me it has come time to sell my R32 GTR. The car has a Genuine Veilside wide body kit (imported from Japan at a cost of $6780) fitted to it currently unpainted so it is in Black Gel coat ready for paint or to be moulded in depending on what look you are going for. It has a large Carbon fiber rear wing and a genuine JUN front carbon lip. I also have a JUN rear diffuser to go with the car if it goes for the right price. Currently the car has a set of 18x10 Lenzo D1R wheels wrapped in pirelli P-Zero Tyres 265/35/18 all round. Custom made LED Rear taillights, they are one off items Has HID fog lights and comes with HID kit for the headlights, which have been converted to H4, Hi and Low Beam in one instead of being separate. Battery Relocated to Boot with 0 Guage wiring throughout, cut off switch mounted on box. Suspension Modifications: Full DGR coil-over suspension to custom specifications, upper pillow ball mount, 30 way adjustable Front and rear Cusco Sway Bars, Front 24mm, rear 30mm Rear fully adjustable camber arms Hicas Lock Bar All Hicas system removed including all piping and standard power steering lines modified to eliminate complete system. Stainless front strut brace Carbon fibre rear strut Brace Brakes: Full set of Brembo calipers off an R33 GTR V-Spec With new DBA slotted rotors all round front and rear and ebc green stuff pads. Each pack also has a heat sink to allow it to run more efficiently and reduces the chance of failure. Has a flip out Pioneer AVH-P-5950dvd DVD headunit German maestro 6.5 inch speakers in the rear, Carbon Fibre cones, Very high end speakers ad a pair of pioneer 6" speakers in the front I have all receipts for most of the work done to the car, and receipts for most of the parts, some were purchased off forum members from here. Car has rego until september this year. The Bad Point: In March while driving the collars in the oil pump failed causing a sever drop in oil pressure. This has caused the engine to spin a big-end bearing. Car still starts and drives but it will need to be trailered to avoid damaging the engine further.   6. Brendons M35 build Thought I'd create a mini build thread on my progress with my first foray into Nissan wagon life and also a place to ask questions/path to follow. I bought the car with f**ked coil packs so I picked it up cheap off some Indian guy. Put a new set of coil packs in and all was sweet for the next 6 months . . . https://imageshack.com/i/pnV0vOWcj https://imageshack.com/i/pltD8QHij https://imageshack.com/i/popQVxMsj I noticed an oil leak from the passenger side that was slowly getting worse and traced it back to the oil feed line. Ah well no biggy, just an easy fix or so I thought! Having not worked on a VQ before, it wasn't until later on I discovered you can't get the line off without pulling the whole turbo Since the car wasn't far off 200k and the turbo had begun the Dyson whine song, I frantically searched for a new turbo. Scotty to the rescue with a Billet Intense he had spare that got to me in 4 days. In the mean time while the car was off the road I set about fabbing up a 3" bellmouth dump pipe. Then followed it up with a 3"-2.5" intake pipe. (Still need to weld on BOV return bung) And this weekend just gone I fabbed up a 3" catless exhaust system to finish it all off. I picked up 7psi of boost without touching a thing, so it's stuck on 21psi with standard injectors and pump. I've hit up Christian to see if it's possible to run the car safely at this level on 98 with his flash tune, otherwise I will probably put a hi-flow cat in to drop the boost a little. I've got a few other things in the works but all in due time!

  8. R33 S2 Angel Eyes Fog Lights LED Basically replacing the series 2 clear fog lights located on the front bar with led angel eye projector fog lights. They will sit in place of the original glass lens sitting on a custom acrylic bracket to hold it in place and present a visually pleasing and professional look also keeping it weatherproof and maintaining the circular style. NOTE: Will be posting more pics later just a rough idea
  9. G'day guys, Just throwing it out there if anyone would light customized headlights? I can split, clean the lenses inside and out. Polished and paint the surrounds any colour you want, install LED's etc. And can supply most suspension bushes and/or fit for wa guys as well (: compression bushes, control/camber arm bushes. (: lemme know if there's any interest. Have done a couple with/ for friends so though I'd see if its something people would want. cheers guys kohbz
  10. Hey guys, Was wondering if anyone knew the best place to get undercar LEDs? Apparently I need custom ones made up for the back and the front (sides are fine) because of the way the exhaust runs and because the K-Bar is too low. I heard Jaycar has these LED strips you can cut to length that are made for undercars. Haven't been to check them out yet though. I'm after preferrably the 1000 colour LEDs, if not then just white as I have a Black and White them going with my car. Let us know. Cheers

Hi guys, I’m going to start doing a new post-grad course for work so will have less time to drive my cars so will have to give them a good service/clean then store away in the garage for a while. I have never owned a car cover but thought I’d take this opportunity to get nice custom GTR ones like the below photos but it seems only R35 GTR ones are available? Does anyone know where to order them from, prices and do they last? Cheers!

Bought it unregisted for about a month now, waiting on funds as its xmas and an apprentice its gonna take ages to get it past the mvr for rego. heres a pic of it

  15. This is my first post on SAU, First thing i'll say is im building this for me and only me so please just consider the effort and money put into this project as im 18 y/o before hating.. As soon as i lost my licence for a year i thought perfect time to start saving up for my dream car. For months straight worth of no going out and saving up i came across this, and got a Series 2 NA RB25 dropped in proffesionaly with VERY low Ks.. Nissan Skyline r33 GTS-T M-spec ( with sunroof ) Manual It looked like this before paint.. I hated the wheels it came with and i wanted something to SET the candy OFF.. So i found these Alba BLVDS tried it on bought it straight away.. Then i realised i needed a new front Bar, So i found a Top Secret front bar and a series 2 vented bonnet.. At this point i realised shit, series 1 lights wont cut it, so i ordered a pair of series 2s from VIC Looked closer and realised i needed new seats because passenger and driver's were ripped so i bought these rep recaro's Bought some led rear lights, clear tail garnish, lambo door kits, DRIFT Gauges with DRIFT gauge mount cups.. BUT this still isnt enough i wanna do it bigger, so now im going full r33 widebody.. Just ordered 20mm wider vented front guards should be here by next week. going to be a even bigger project and should be done in JULY, Get my licence back August.. this ones really going to freak out the NSW Police ; -) Still got sideskirts, rear bar and widened rear fenders to order.. Yes i know its not everyones style well more like 90% People hate/despise my car and wheels, 5% of people appreciate the work and effort and only 5% of people actually love it. But this is the way i wanted to do it for a very long time and will be done very soon! Will be posing regularly.. but will delete if i get too much hate..

Hey guys, selling my brake setup from my R32 gts-t, which is a great upgrade for the s13, s14, 180sx, and a few other nissans...selling as i have upgraded to R34 GTR brembo brakes. this includes: - front brake calipers (4 pot calipers with brake pads) - front slotted brake discs - rear brake calipers (2 pot calipers with brake pads) - rear brake discs The fronts have slotted rotors which have near to no lip at all, so they have plenty of meat, and the pads have 7mm left on them which will also last a decent amount of kms. The rears have normal rotors which again have hardly any lip which will last a long time, and the rear pads have 10mm left of meat, so they will last a long time All calipers have been sprayed with metalcast heatproof anodized purple and look amazing, especially when the sun hits them. Asking $900 ono. or swaps for other parts of interest, contact me on 0422 455 444 located on the gold coast, will post aus wide, postage will be $70 sorry for the big pics
