Hi all, Basically I'm looking for a good place to get the paintwork on my 34 corrected, fairly extensively (not just basic polish job). The paint has some swirls and holograms that I'd really like to remove asap, before taking the car up to time attack. If you have had any good or bad experiences with any local business I'd like to hear about it. PM for bad experiences as to not spreading bad rumors over the forums. Or, If any of you are whizzes with car detailing and you have all the appropriate equipment, maybe we can work something out there Post pics of your previous work. (Yes I used the search function, looking for up to date info) Cheers

Hey guys, I've just brought a 1996 R33 GTS and I was wondering where the best place is to buy parts to detail the engine bay?

Yesterday I was driving through the car park at work and managed to scrape my rear wheel on the gutter (2nd photo) Upon arriving home today i noticed my front wheel also had a chunk missing (no idea how that occurred) and to my stupidity i ran my thumb over it and now have a chunk of work emotion in my thumb that i cant get out Anyway... Im just wondering what the best way it to go about repairing them, other then the obvious sand it back and respray.

Hi Guys, Just wandering if anyone has any good experience with mobile detailers in Melbourne? I need a good clay/cut/polish (incl. door/boot jams and engine bay cleaned and the exhaust polished up) and some minor touch ups done on the GTR - would much prefer to have the car at home in the garage being worked on, then taken to a shop. Google has given me many results - but obviously I value peoples opinions here so any names/numbers would be much appreciated! Thanks

I wanted to put a recommendation in for Langdon who runs Driven Colour in Sydney. I recently had my white R34 GTR paint corrected by him, and the result was great. He is very knowledgable and took a real interest in getting the best result from the process. He also provided me some tips for how to best take care of everything at home as well. The car had some swirling and light scratches from its 13 year life, and the end result was excellent. Prices were also reasonable. You can see some pics on his facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.468524066541096.108096.146767768716729&type=3 Langdon's website is http://drivencolour.com.au/
