  5. Selling my Evolution VII, Evo 7. Has 82000kms and is completely stock except for an exedy clutch (very easy to drive with) . This car has a rare sunroof and ralliart floor mats. Has good brakes and tyres, no issues what so ever passing the road worthy. The car is very clean and very reliable. Recently had the gearbox, transfer case and engine serviced. The vehicle is rust and accident free and will suit those wanting a good standard vehicle, or those after a platform to modify. It is priced according to its condition and KM. Price is neg, but stupidly low offers will be ignored. Quality GENUINE low KM cars (like this one) are attracting good money! Rare with sunroof! This will not last long! Iv seen the "low km" evo's for sale and can confirm they are not nearly as clean as this car! Comes with 6 months rego and RWC, which is provided upon sale. located in Brisbane. Has had a rd worthy recently by a picky workshop and passed with flying colours. 9. Come on peeps. We need a 'post your evo' thread. I love these things and would love to have one as my daily. But alas, I must live vicariously through you guys.
  10. Hi there! I know this isn't Skyline related but i was wondering if you would be able to help me out. My friend got his 2001 3 CT9A EVO 7 stolen around April this year from Cambridge Street, Penshurst SYDNEY. The police have been absolutely no help and I was wondering hoping you could spread the word to see if anyone may have seen or knows anything! Thank you so much!!!!! These are the details: Make: EVO 7 Model: GH-CT9A SNGFZ Colour: White Rego when stolen: JDM3VO VIN: TBA Chassis No: CT9A -0004702 Distinctive features: whole rear of the car is an EVO 9 body. Any info: [email protected]
  11. For sale wheels and tyres from my r32 gtr, was fitted with evo 9 brembos if that gives an idea of brake clearance. These are Sparco rims in 17 x 9 offset 20, fitted with falken azenis semi slick rubber. These tyres are great on the road in wet and dry. There is gutter rash, i would say they are looking pretty average which is reflected in the price. You won't find many reputable jap brands in this size and offset at this price. Perfect for track. Plenty of tread left $750
  12. Hi, I'm selling my evo 9, its red and has low kms (59xxx), it is in excellent condition, outside is about 9/10 and inside pretty much 10/10. I have taken excellent care of it and have only used top of the line oils and parts. I am second owner and i bought it off a very wealthy gentleman from QLD so no expense was spared on his part either. When i purchased the car it was pretty much stock apart from the turbo back exhaust. I have since then modified little bits and pieces here and there (nothing to major). So the reason for selling it (really didn't wish i had to because it took so long to find one in this condition as I am a very picky buyer) is because I am planning on purchasing a business and putting down a deposit for a home and land package so this money will be well used to help the purchase of these two things. A quick run down of the car; - 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 - Red in colour - 59xxx KMS with Log Books and manuals with all receipts of any work done to the car (and i mean every little work is documented and business cards to go along with it too). - 3rd party Pre Purchase inspection completed on my behalf before buying it from the first owner - I have a paint thickness gauge which you can use personally on the car to show that there are absolutely no signs of resprays or touch ups or accidents on the car. Modifications; - Full 3'' Custom Turbo Back Exhaust (made by a reputable exhaust shop in QLD - I will get the name when I can its in the log book and manuals case). - x3e intercooler piping in black (upper and lower) - Simota Drop in panel filter - retaining stock air box - Short Antenna - Beatrush front number plate holder - Stock Enkei's powder coated black - Carbon Fibre front lip - Carbon Fibre roof spoiler/shark fins/vortex - Carbon Fibre rear diffuser - Whiteline Adjustable 24mm Rear Sway Bar - Whiteline Adjustable HD Rear End links the photos are dated for the meanwhile, but I will take new photos and attach them soon. Some information I may have missed out on mentioning but if they come to mind I will edit the post and add it in. Location and Price; I am located in Green Valley, 2168, NSW. Contact number is 0415 605 565 - SMS Pref during weekdays and either call or text on weekends. Price wise I'm looking/asking for $38000 ono - it is really immaculate so it does warrant the price. 13. The end of an era. Its a little bit sad, like when Nissan stopped making Silvias (Skylines are different, in one form or another, they continued.) I got this news from Motor Authority. The Final edition will not be based on the HKS built, 473HP concept they revealed last year. BBS, Bilstein, Eibach and Brembo handle the rolling and stopping. All of those words make me a little excited. Anyway .. the pics. So freaking nice. Opinions?

  20. With the recent price rise in GT-R's and the dwindling supply of clean vehicles, will more people be turning the to Evo for a 4WD Japanese sports car? I believe prices have gone beyond the budget of the average punter, with the BNR32 into the 30-40k range, BCNR33 25k+, and I won't even mention R34's. This is expensive for what you get in terms of performance, reliability and parts attainability. Of course you can't go past the heritage, looks and presence of a GT-R, but there are certainly better value choices. Will people in the market for a GT-R begin turning to Evo's due to their lower price and (arguably) better performance? Will there be a knock-on effect in which Evo prices begin to rise too? As someone in their 20's and saving for a house, there's no way I could justify a GT-R anymore, but an Evo seems like a reasonable compromise. Ugly though
  21. Newbie Evening gents from the East coast of the USA. Names Kym, hubbies name is Jon. Decided to just share one username. Recently acquired a 1995 GTST R33 M Spec for a great deal. Never been modified. Already getting ideas for her. Hubbies car is an Evo 8 pushing 780 awhp on a mustang dyno on E85, my 350z is large single turbo making 450 before I built the motor. My daily is the Ford Taurus SHO. AWD twin turbo making about 430awhp at the moment. Enjoy the photos, and yeessssss that's hubby dressed up as Deadpool with our friends carbon R33.
  22. Selling my R33 Gtst for an Evo VIII. Wise move? Hi guys cut long story short. I am selling my R33 gtst for an Evo. I have poured in so much money and effort into the R33 and it feels like once a week a new issue occurs. Just recently had it dyno tuned and was excited to finally enjoy the car....but no. 2 days later my car started sounding like tractor, exhaust note changed and would not pull hard once I got onto boost. I took it to numerous mechanics in gold coast and know one has a clue what the issue is. So I am done with Skylines and decided to buy a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII next week. Apparently the only issue is some sort of surge when you go WOT but drives ok if you gradually apply the throttle. It has high K's, I think around about 260k but I hear the engines are bullet proof. So just wanted to ask. Whats it like going from a gtst to Evo? Do the evos feel as quick? What are they like in terms of reliability? Will I regret going to an Evo? Cheers guys.
  23. Can you daily an EVO? Pretty self explanatory, was thinking of getting one as just a daily. Anyone else here daily an EVO or are they better as a weekender/build car?
  24. Where is creatd Does anyone know where this car is and who owns it?

Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Products: Evo 350mm Brembo Front Brake Adaptor Kit and/or Evo 350mm Brembo Rear Brake Adaptor Kit. These adaptors are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, which is super lightweight and high strength. I personally sourced parts for my front kit elsewhere as I had my own lines made and picked up a cheap set of calipers. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo frontcalipers (used) - $850 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA T3 rotors (new) - $470; or - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA5000 2pc (new) - $1200 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $130 What you need to get (rear kit) - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clip) - Nissan 370Z rear 350x20mm rotors - Custom brake lines Again, Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above parts if desired. I personally sourced all parts from Alpha Omega Racing for convenience with the rear kit. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (used) - $450 - Nissan 370Z rear 350x32mm DBA T2 rotors (new) - $450 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $110 Silvia (180SX/S13/S14/S15) drivers who want a functioning handbrake will need to use the R32/R33/R34/Z32 rear drum setup, a very common upgrade. It is also worth noting that the standard rear kit requires a 6mm hub spacer to be installed for caliper clearance, this will also push your wheel/tyre out a further 6mm so may affect guard clearances. Alpha Omega Racing can also offer services to rebuild your used calipers, powder coat them, or even install the whole kit. Using both the front and rear big brake kits developed by Alpha Omega will result in a 69:31 brake bias. Wheel clearance: Minimum of 17" race style wheels with good clearance are required. Brake Master Cylinder: You are able to retain your factory brake master cylinder, however it is recommended to upgrade to a brake master cylinder with a piston size of 17/16" (such as a BM57). Genuine OEM BM57 BMC’s are available from Alpha Omega Racing at a price of $500 (new), or you could also try to source from your usual Japanese parts suppliers or Nissan dealership if you desired. Price: Pricing for this group buy will be calculated per number of kits sold, not per buyer. For example, if 3 people buy a front and rear kit each, this will be calculated as 6 kits sold. Prices will be as below: 1-4 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $370ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear adapter kit for $450ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $390ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) 5-10 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $345ea (save $25) - Rear adapter kit for $400ea (save $50!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $340ea (save $50!) 11-15 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $320ea (save $50!) - Rear adapter kit for $350ea (save $100!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $290ea (save $100!!) 16+ kits sold - Front adapter kit for $295ea (save $75!!) - Rear adapter kit for $300ea (save $150!!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $240ea (save $150!!!)
